Pigtails & Crewcuts

We brought our 17 month old grandson in Saturday for his very first haircut. We purchased the «first haircut package» for him. At first we were worried that he would have an attitude, because he doesn’t always like to sit still. Melissa was our stylist & she was very friendly and nice, making him smile & putting us right at ease. She worked quickly and efficiently, providing a really great haircut and a pleasing experience. Thank you Melissa! We WILL be back.

Went here to get a trim on my 5 yr olds very long hair. Asked her to cut off the unhealthy part (anyone cld see at least an inch was dry and getting split ends and I said that). She spent about 3 minutes snipping what must have been less than a centimeter off and then said she was done. I literally didn’t even see any hair on the floor. I repeated several times can you cut off all the unhealthy hair and she wld go back and snip a few more ends less than a centimeter. Honestly, I’m really not even sure she was cutting any hair at all. Daughter left with tons of split ends and same dry ends she had before. In addition, I don’t expect a children’s hairdresser to chat with me for an hour, but she literally said maybe 5 words to me the whole time we were there no matter how many questions I asked… giving off the most unfriendly/​disgruntled impression (I concur with pervious commenter «mentally checked out»). Felt ripped off when I left, could have easily done what they did myself at home and not had to deal with someone I am paying treating me like I am intruding in on their day. Yuck.

One bad haircut followed by two more times of poor customer service. The gal at the front desk appeared «mentally checked out.» and seems to have no interest or knowledge as to how to advocate for customers. It’s not worth the hassle. I won’t be going back.

We just had an amazing experience here! I have 2 boys, ages 4 and 5, and we just stopped by today after school. The ladies working there greeted us as we walked in and everyone was very friendly the entire time we were there.
As soon as my boys sat down, a lady set up a video game for them to play. They had a blast playing a Lego video game while they got their haircut. Both ladies who cut their hair were friendly and patient with me and my boys throughout the whole cut. And they gave my boys the best haircuts they’ve ever had!
After the cut, they got to pick out a lollipop and a small toy. It was definitely the best and most fun haircut they’ve ever had. We’ll be back for sure! :)

It’s seems expensive for a kid cut, but so worth it. Nice place, kids love it! My son normally does not like getting his hair cut, but he enjoyed it this time.
The staff is very friendly. I will be coming back!
