Went in today and I was very impressed with the items and exceptional customer service. Cute gifts and lots of Texas charm !

Retro Cowboy and Earth Bones are sister stores. It used to be that Earth Bones had some pretty cool sterling silver jewelry mixed in with the funky costume jewelry. The pretty cool sterling silver jewelry has moved over to Retro Cowboy. A lot of it is Southwestern in theme but not all of it. Retro Cowboy has postcards, t-shirts, western tooled leather purses, Southwestern jewelry, and even the occasional jackalope. Granted, a lot of the stuff caters to tourists but as a local, some of their merchandise still catches my eye and I drop coin in here a couple of times a year. If you want to feel better about yourself and the prices, go down the street to Leddy’s and have your jaw drop at the cost of a necklace. Then go back up to Retro Cowboy and look at theirs. Better quality. Half or a quarter of the price.

Really cute gift store in downtown Fort Worth. I’m new to the Metroplex, and I saw reviews saying they have Dublin Dr. Pepper, which everyone says is a must have. The staff was really nice and welcoming. The lady working there had to tell me the David and Goliath story about Dublin Dr. Pepper. Lots of fun Texas themed nick knacks and gifts.

Phew. This is more like it. Good prices(+ snacks). Cute selection of gift items with a wall of kid’s stuff. Loved all the John Wayne stuff. Decent selection of jewelry. So basically a small shop with a little bit of everything you might need: some candy, a cold drink, a onesie, a John Wayne mug, a wanted poster, you get the general idea. The staff was friendly without being pushy.

Neat place to go for old west décor. The one worker they had was friendly even though she was very busy. Very cool selection of outlaw and cowboy posters, keychains, etc…

This store is owned by my childhood best friend’s parents and I absolutely love it. The items are as Texan as it gets and its great for every age! They even have cute as can be cowboy boots, the atmosphere is great, and very laid-back.

I really liked this store and thought it was the best in the Square. The shop ladies were really nice, the A/C heavenly and the prices good. I got some touristy things that I I hadn’t seem anywhere else. Unilocaler Tyler E is right, pick up a Dublin Dr Pepper, you will love it. I attached some pics for your enjoyment :)

Any place that stocks the real original authentic American soda, Dublin Dr Pepper(made with Pure Imperial Cane Sugar, not the nasty sticky High Fructose Corn Syrup) is a high class establishment IMHO.

Remember Y’all’s Texas Store that was in all the Texas malls in the ‘90s? Kitschy Texana to the max? This is like that store, but far less atrocious. I don’t recall seeing a single taxidermied armadillo or jackalope or neon-light guitar here, but that might be wishful thinking on my part. If you’re from out of state and find yourself in Fort Worth, this is probably a great souvenir shop. I live only a few hours to the south, so I’m not gonna forget that people wear cowboy hats here anytime soon. It’s fun to browse, though.

This place stole my hear with its«NASHVILLESUCKS» t-shirts… also, dug the fact that they had Dublin Dr. Pepper in the can for cheap. Got my wife a nice Dale Evans lunchbox here. LOVE the old western merchandise. DIGIT!

I loved the Retro Cowboy when it had it’s $ 2 old school black and white 4 vertical photo, photo-booth. I have over 40 strips of photos from that place. However, I was sad to find out that they had to get rid of their machine when PhotoME went out of business. It felt like a little piece in my heart dissappeared.

This is a little shop on Sundance Square that is full of Texas«stuff». They have cowboy clothes and boots, but they also have Texas souvenirs and food items and other Western themed items(like John Wayne lunchboxes, Texas themed cookbooks, etc). If you are looking for fun items for a Texas themed gift, you would probably find a lot of useful stuff here.
