Haven’t been to Macaroni Grill lately since the closed the locations closest to me. Went to this one & it was great. We went during the Sunday lunch rush and the server was great. The food was hot & fresh. And the bread… Oh how I’ve missed the bread! I really hope this location doesn’t close, bc I really enjoy the food here.

Ordered online. They said they had a computer problem. Still didn’t make my food. The manager refused to credit me and said they would only give me a food credit. WHAT? so. I didn’t eat that day. Worst customer service.

We came in 40 minutes to closing and the staff was so welcoming… We sat at the bar ordered drinks dessert. Catalina served us and was awesome! The Sorento lemonade was A+… Thanks so much for making the end of our night that much better…

Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The service is very poor, slow, and inconsistent. Stick to wine or beer because a drink from the non-existent bar just isn’t worth it – poorly made, weak, expensive for what you get. The food is very mediocre and overly greasy. Even the bread tastes like its missing an ingredient… yeast or something. There’s much better food in Fort Worth for the same price.

NEVERGOINGBACK. Eleazar was my server. The restaurant was slow on a Friday afternoon. I came for a coworker’s farewell lunch with 8 nurses. Drink orders were wrong. Our food took 1 hour to get to the table. The worst part was paying. He ran my credit card and came back with my card but no printout of the receipt. He went back to get it, then came back and said he had to run it again, I pulled my card out but he didn’t take it. I waited 45 minutes for my receipt printout. I spoke to another server for help, as well as the manager, who were both extremely rude to me. I’m boycotting this place. I was more disturbed by the manager than my experience with the server. Manager has no business having that job. I am the type who rarely ever sends food back, or talks to a manager about anything. But I am thinking about calling their corporate office.

Customer service is GREAT! They basically treat you like family!(Karina was my server) The food is delicious and the environment is perfect. I recommend Carmela’s chicken. Love. The. Mushrooms. Drink wise I recommend whatever Mimi recommends. The girl knows what she’s talking about(:

Great food and friendly waitstaff. The atmosphere is enjoyable. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, so we tend to go when we are not in a hurry. The kid’s menu is a good one.

Overpriced for the meh food and poor service. Waiter didn’t give me back my card when after he ran it. It was over $ 60 for lunch for 3 people that wasn’t impressive. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Absolutely horrible! Will never return to this location ever again. From the moment walking in ONMOTHERSDAY none the less, we were sat right away in the back. Two huge parties next to us. I sat with my two children and their uncle for my Mother’s Day dinner as my husband was called into work. While sitting there waiting for 20MINUTES without anyone saying a single word to us as we watched 5 – 6 servers help every other table but Ours! We weren’t even told or acknowledged as «hey I’ll be right with you». So after waiting I went to the hostess who looked like she was 15 years old and had no clue to anything going on. I said do you have anyone who can wait on us as we’ve been sitting in the back where you put us for 20 minutes. She just looked at me and said what table are you at? I responded, THEONEINTHEBACKRIGHTTHERETHATYOUSATUSAT! She didn’t know what to do. So I walked back to our table. 5 more min went by and we were finally greeted by Erick who didn’t have any clue as to what was going on. He asked us what we want to drink. Kids got milk. We got water and alcoholic beverages. Another 5 min go by and our kids got drinks but not us. No water. No sangria or beer that we ordered. No bread brought. Nothing. 10 more min and finally we have drinks. He says are u guys ready to order. We said no because we don’t have kids menus as when we were sat they said they needed to print more cause they ran out. We were never brought them. He said oh well I’ll go check. 10 min later he brings bread loaf and says are u ready to order? I said where are the kids menus as we have no idea what they want cause we don’t know! He then said well we have blah blah blah. Listed like 5 things. We ordered. Got an appetizer the goat cheese peppers. I got the chicken scallopini, uncle got steak, kids got two kid spaghetti with meat sauce. We scarfed the bread down as by this point we’ve been here for an HOUR!!! And we are starving! Appetizer came out about 15⁄20 min later(which for this appetizer shouldn’t have taken even 5 min!) still no salads. And no bread. We say can we get refills on drinks and some more bread plz. Yes sure he responds. Well 10 min later our salads come out and STILLNOBREADREFILL. Our kids are getting very impatient and hungry. So I say can we get more bread now please and some balsamic with it for the oil. He returns right away as he realizes it’s been forever and he forgot. Then the food comes out 5 min later and we barely had time to finish salad. We take a bite and my chicken scallopini is ICECOLD and a bite of it wasn’t even cooked properly as the center was pink and raw. I just sat there as my kids ate spaghetti that was cold and their uncle ate a steak that was cold and horrible. After about 10 minutes our server checks on us saying how is the food. I said well honestly it’s horrible. It’s cold. I’ve been sitting here not eating and you haven’t checked on us. He said I’m so sorry. I can have a new one made. I said NO as I’ve waited long enough on Mother’s Day. This is ridiculous. The manager then comes over 5 min later and says same thing I’m so sorry it’s cold. Can I make another I said no put it in Togo box and I’ll cook it correctly at home but I’m sick of sitting here with horrible service on my night out with family! Manager says I’ll take that off the menu, HA! Ya. Thanks for fonally checking on us hour and half into the night when everything has sucked immensely and ruined my Mother’s Day. I pulled out my card and she says can I hand this to your server. I said ya just bring us Togo boxes so we can go. I then wrote a long note about as much as possible on the back of the receipts. $ 68 meal later that I hate to say but SHOULDHAVEBEENFULLYPAIDFOR! And I still tipped 10% because I use to be a waitress and bartender and they live off the tips, but he shouldn’t have got more than a couple dollars for the crap service. The server was aloof completely. Horrible service. Did nothing! Manager was completely uninformed and did squat to make sure I was satisfied or that the problem was handled and on Mother’s Day being there with my children… that was horrible! I will never return to this location and you’ll be lucky if I do anywhere ever again! Sad part is the two locations in north Fort Worth and grapevine were shut down and we like the food so we drove 45 min to get to this location and it turned out like this!!! I’ve never been so disgruntled with a restaurant and poor service in my life!!! I suggest clean house of your ignorant employees and management cause you are continually losing business and your restaurant reputation just went down the drain with me.

I used to love Mac Grill. Now not so much bc of the terrible service. It was very slow but the prob was I ordered gluten free pasta, they gave me reg. I ate several bites b4 my husband asked me if it was regular & asked the waiter. He acted oblivious & said oh yea u did say that, do u want another 1? The mgr came over & was apologetic, offered my meal free & free dessert. They brought me more pasta, charged full price & for the dessert I never really wanted! Waiter took forever so we just paid n left, no tip. They acted like it was not a big deal. It is a big deal… esp now an hr later & I’m stuck in the bathroom in pain. Hate u jerks!

Went here 3 times during my stay close by. The staff was great and I had a chance to hang out with regulars that have been coming to this place for over 10 years. Service inside was awesome and to go was quick. I’m not a huge Italian food fan so the food was good for Italian.

I use to really enjoy the food at Macaroni Grill, but now the selection is rather limited for those that are not meat eaters. This last visit solidified my family not returning though. We were sat, and ignored for about 5 minutes with multiple servers walking around. A table was seated behind us, and immediately a server was there. At this time, we got up and left. This location habitually displays poor serving skills, and times. Done going here.

Honestly I thought that Macaroni Grill was better than what we experienced. The service was poor to mediocre. We express to the hostess that it was actually our first time to come here and she sat us at the bar which I thought was kind of weird that we didn’t get sat in the dining. The waitress did not start are bread and olive oil be hostess actually did. Anytime that I asked a question she didn’t really understand or know what to say, or just walked off and pretend not to hear us. It was rather expensive for what we got. The appetizers were interesting. We got mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese with a balsamic sauce. After you eat just one you’re kind of done. I don’t think I’m going to be coming back anytime soon it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Service was mediocre at best, and the menu was mediocre as well, not offering much outside of chicken dishes. I ordered the create your own pasta, and the pomodoro sauce was tasteless and didn’t mesh well with the pasta. I can promise that I will not be going there again. I’d rather eat at olive garden.

Overpriced for the quality. Drinks too pricey to order more than 1. Not impressed. Chicken fetacinni was not good. Sauce too thick. Tasted old.

Food was ok, I prefer Maggianos, Buca, or Carrabas. I had the spaghetti with meatballs and happy hour chianti. The wine was good but the best part of my overall experience was Gabriel the bartender. He made my experience the best. AWESOME customer service skills!!!

Generally I like Macaroni Grill but this location left something to be desired as far as service. The food was good, I love their bread and olive oil. I also like that they have a Below 600 calories menu. I have no complaints about the food. Upon arriving we were greeted by the manager who was displeased that we had a large party. He proceeded to put tables together when we realized that the rest of our party was already seated. Why didn’t he know this or ask us if we were the same party of 7 that was already seated? The restaurant was practically empty — just how many parties of 7 was he expecting? I was actually surprised that the place was very empty in the middle of lunch on a Friday — maybe it’s because of the service.

I mean… what can I say… not terrible or anything. It’s pretty whatever. I don’t really understand these chains that seem to try really hard – almost too hard – to be «authentic» to the style and culture of the cuisine they’re presenting. I mean, it’s a chain; they have a Macaroni Grill in my home state of Hawaii(and I’m pretty sure there is no large Italian community there), I see their dishes in the frozen section of every major grocery store all over the country. There’s no way for Macaroni Grill to successfully come across as authentic, so it’s awkward to see them try so hard. At least that’s the impression I got at this place. From the Tuscan villa-looking décor of the place, to the opera-singing waitress, to the accordion music(sounds kind of like that song from«Lady and the Tramp») in the restroom, it all seems forced. Does anyone really come to Macaroni grill looking for that authentic Italian dining experience, anyway? That said, their food was pretty decent. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. It came with nicely breaded and lightly fried eggplant slices next to a artfully spun bed of angel hair pasta. The pasta was mixed with a nice tomato-based sauce that wasn’t too overwhelming in acidity/tomato-ness. Portion-wise, it may be a tad too small. Again, it’s an Americanized Italian chain, so I’m sure new diners may come in expecting American-sized portions, but sorry, you’re out of luck here. At least that was the case with my dish. Will I come here again? Only if someone REALLY wants to. Fort Worth has good eats at similar prices, why go here? That being said, however, I’ve seen much worse.

It’s a Macaroni Grill. It’s pre-measured, ‘safe’, soulless, ‘exactly the same every time for everyone’ corporate food served in a Macaroni Grill that looks like every other Macaroni Grill. It wasn’t expensive. It wasn’t a value. It wasn’t memorable. It wasn’t terrible. It’s a Macaroni Grill.
