The area surrounding this Starbucks is so cool! This would be a great place to visit and hang for the day or evening! This Starbucks has an evening menu which looks fantastic. I’m a huge Starbucks fan; so I would love to come back and experience it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating — drinks were tasty.

I parked in sundance parking and had to get a pass validated in order for the parking to be free. I went to this starbucks, made a purchase, and was told there was no need to validate the card because it was free on the weekends. Fast forward to leaving sundance parking and guess what happened when we tried to leave? We were told we needed the card to be validated by Starbucks or we would have to pay $ 5. Starbucks had closed prior and we had no choice but to pay the fee. Thanks to the very knowledgable staff!!!

This place gets ridiculously busy, they definitely need a bigger storefront. Last time we were there they either skipped over my husbands drink or someone else got it, so we ended up leaving without it. They were too busy to care when we asked them about it.

I’ve never had to wait 30 minutes just to place an order. Midweek just before Christmas there was a fraction of the staff needed and absolutely no sense of urgency what so ever. Facility was dirty and the final product not worth the wait. So sad.

Not really a Starbucks drinker but work pays for it so I come here often. The ambiance is nice here and they have fine food and alcohol in the evenings here which is pretty cool. However, all the items in Starbucks are overpriced and never worth the cost. Get actual coffee elsewhere.

UPDATE2÷1÷2016 Service has improved tremendously, and some of the baristas know me by name now. Has become a good location. UPDATE1÷18÷2016 Yet again I have waited 17 minutes so far for a Venti Iced Coffee. Should’ve just let me behind the counter to make my own. All you have to do is pour pre made coffee from the fridge and add vanilla! Ordered @ 12:07, currently 12:24. Sheesh guys… Update, finally got it at 12:28. – Previous Review Understaffed at peak hours in a prime location in Downtown Fort Worth. From payment to receiving my drink took 10 minutes for a tall frap. Luckily I have a 1 hour lunch or I would have been very upset. Note to manager, train better, hire more baristas, and always have 2 cashiers at peak hours.

This place is habitually understaffed and slow. Today one guy was making coffee, the line was out the door, one girl taking orders, and 2 other employees were doing busy work. That means management is to blame.

Disclaimer: This is my first review and it is purely driven by anger. I am a long time Unilocaler and a coffee person. I always mean to review these great places I find, but I guess this is how it starts for some people. Short version: POORCUSTOMERSERVICEANDVERYRUDESTAFF. Also if you’re the 55ish year old man in the cotton blazer… I’m coming for you. Long version: My wife and I stopped in to get coffee before a movie. The store was packed like any Starbucks in the evening, mostly people waiting for drinks though. The only people in line were a woman and her son, so we stood directly behind them. Now imagine with me, a straight line of people; cashier, woman/son and us. Another couple walked in and stood directly behind us. Now that’s a line of I do say so myself. Then a man of about 55, white hair, cotton blazer, slacks and loafers walks in. The man walks up directly to the left of the woman and her son, looks at me like I’m the dumbest goon he’s seen on the planet and then looks at the menu.
Now the real story begins. It’s been about 5 minutes since we walked in. The woman and her son finally finish up move to the right. I see the man moving toward the register as if he is going to be next in line, so I reach my hand forward ahead of him and place my wallet on the counter. I place my order, as my wife is placing hers she is cut off my the man. «Excuuuuse me» stated the man, in the nerdiest, junior college professor voice he could squeak out. THEN the cashier said«He was next in line, can you please go to the back of the line, it forms over there» she gestured towards the door, which now had a quite a few people in it, including the couple that was behind us. The cashier and I then get into a brief argument about how she saw me come in and knew that I was standing in line, and knew that I had been waiting long before the other man. No matter what I said, she reverted back to «The line forms over there sir» in her, I could care less when you get your coffee attitude. It was an extremely stressful conversation which was interrupted by the man piping up «She’s not going to serve you so just get in line!»
I have a pretty scary temper, probably from the war and whatnot, and I carry a gun. I couldn’t handle it anymore, so as not to end up on CNN as another combat vet that lost his mind and went on a shooting rampage, killing a 55 year old man in a cotton blazer and a 17 year old Starbucks cashier(you know, that old cliché), I told my wife we were leaving and we walked out. I will never go inside that starbucks again. The Bird Café across the plaza has an excellent french press.

If you are going to hang out at a coffee house, this is the place to do it. The Fort Worth court yard is beautiful and it was a great place to people watch as the fountains went off.

A few pluses and opportunities for this location. I’ll lead with its good points. First of all location, location, location. This store is located right next to the recently renovated Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth which allows you to enjoy the sights while you work or relax. Secondly, since this area is a hot spot for night life, this location will be serving beer and wine in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, there were a few opportunities at this location. I stopped by around 5 in the afternoon and their pastry cases were empty. I’m sure being a weekend day, they had been very busy but they were hours from closing and completely out of options for the customers and seemed to be in no hurry to do anything about it. Additionally, the service was very slow. There weren’t many of us in line, but they were not in any hurry to get our orders out to us. On top of that, I had requested no whipped cream on my order which was totally missed by the cashier and when I asked the barista that made the drink to take it off, she snapped«next time, you need to let us know.» Never good customer service to immediately blame the customer. Mine is not the only review to comment on the service at this location. May be time for the management team to take note.

This is a pretty good Starbucks location, right on the edge of Sundance Square. When I visited on a hot Saturday afternoon the kids playing in the fountain just outside would run in here to use the restroom, and I thought it was nice that they were allowed to do that. At a little after 4PM they had a fully stocked pastry case with some pastries I had never even seen in a Starbucks before, lots of good variety. The line was long and moving very slowly since they only had one employee working the cash register. We waited quite a while for our drinks, which came out at different times so I was well into my iced coffee before my boyfriend even got his. But ultimately everyone was friendly and the place was clean, I would certainly come back.

Located in Sundance Square, this Starbucks has a great ambiance. The friendly staff you make you special. They are not as fast to serve as other Starbucks, but make up for it with kindness and sweet subtle remarks when handing you the order. I’ll be back for sure! Especially since they did not load up my cool lime refresher to the rim with ice.

Special Starbucks. This is a Starbucks RESERVE. It has one of those $ 10,000 Clover machines making special coffee such as 100% kona and etc. Worth a visit if you have not had a cuppa joe like this. Their reserve coffee is very good. Packs a wollop of caffeine. They use a lot of coffee to make that cuppa grande. Just observe the ‘puck’ that comes out of the Clover and you will know what I mean. Regardless, this Clover device was roumored to be invented by some MIT kids. So good that it cost $ 10K and Starbucks bought that company out. Other than that, a regular starbucks. There is no drive thru which makes stopping for a cup kinda tough.

Can we talk a little about how this is supposed to be a signature Starbucks store and isn’t enjoyable at all? Before I launch into what is going to seem a bit like a rant, I want to make an important distinction — that the staff here is usually really, really good at their jobs. To me, that’s the one saving grace about this one. But does anyone remember when coffee shops were this thing that made you want to find a cozy chair and hang out for a while and read a book or something? When it was okay to do that? Anybody? Well, I feel like whoever designed this spot just said«Meh, people will come here no matter what I do, so I’m going to phone this one in». Well anyway, don’t look for any of that coziness here, there’s no room, no time for that. Don’t stick around, there’s nowhere to be. Hard chairs, people standing over you no matter where you sit. Get your coffee and leave. Granted, there’s the new plaza outside, and that’s not a bad place to just be, but I can’t say that there’s anything about this particular location on the inside that makes you feel even a little bit welcome to be there. You have to walk in, order, and wait for your order while trapped in an awful cul-de-sac of bad interior design. There *could* be a flow in and out because there are doors on the far side that seem to open like functional doors should, but why even bother? Get out, get out, get out. There’s no room here. And there’s also a parking spot for bikes, or something, along the back wall that clearly wouldn’t accommodate such an animal for anyone who even made a tiny effort to do so, but it’s there for corporate LEED greenscaping check-boxes or whatever, so good for them?

They don’t ask for your name, so when they call the drinks the three people who ordered the same drink have a guessing game to see who it’s for. Horrible!!! I waited 15 mins for 2 drinks, I’ve never had to wait so long before. I’m a gold star member, and I must say this is the WORST service I’ve ever had!

High traffic, slow service, and a small space that fills quickly. I asked for a simple drink — iced caramel machiato– and it was not made right(not enough vanilla syrup). The staff was friendly enough, but man… the interior is just so small and hard to navigate when there’s a weekend crowd. Only one door to enter/exit, so that certainly does not help the situation. If you’re dying for an Sbux fix and you’re in Sundance Square, this location really is your only option. So you’ll have to «deal with it» and drudge through the shortcomings. On a brighter note, there’s great space outside to sit, relax, and enjoy the water feature. Lots of great people watching while you sip coffee. I must have counted 100+ selfies taken in front of those water fountains!

This location is a block and a half from where I work in downtown, so sometimes between patients, I dash over to get my caffeine fix. Sometimes it’s crazy crowded and sometimes it’s just me. I come at all different times and the crowds are never consistent. I’ve had my order screwed up a few times and a few times the wait has been so long, I’ve been given a coupon for a free drink at my next visit. They do sling reserve coffees, so that’s a plus.
