Some things about Razzoo’s in Sundance Square have remained consistently reliable over the course of years. The RatToes have always been a favorite! Basically fried jalapeño poppers, spicy hot, stuffed with crabmeat, served with ranch dressing. Not for the timid! I had the fried catfish with jalapeño dressing. Very good! My man had the chicken dippers and our guest had the fried catfish basket. We also had an order of fried pickles. Just because why not? All of our drinks, iced tea, fresh brewed, water, and Diet Pepsi, came with unending free refills, and you don’t even have to ask! This is a fun restaurant with no pretensions down in Sundance Square. The service was attentive, the orders came out quickly, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in downtown Fort Worth. They have«rabbit food», salads etc., on the menu, but it is not the kind of place to go if you are on a diet! Lots of other fine establishments serve«healthy» fare. This is a fun place to eat fun food and have fun!!!

The one star isn’t for the food at all. Our 3 meals were ok, nothing spectacular, although my Cajun penne pasta could have used some sort of spice or flavor. The poor rating is solely for the FILTHY condition of the restaurant. There were a ½ dozen tables that sat uncleared for most of our meal, and the floors hadn’t been swept all night. I watched several parties being seated at tables where they stepped into the remnants of the last occupants’ meal. Don’t get me started on this disaster area bathrooms. The management of this location should be ashamed.

Very pungent vomit smell. Food handling very unsafe. Waited 30 min for an appetizer of oysters on the half shell we never got. Finally paid ticket for two drinks no oysters and walked out.

Razzoo’s might be a chain but other than maybe dessert they have it down. The staff does seem rather young but they are all well trained on customer service. My server was Alicia and she kept it fun with that extra attention. I had iced tea which was brewed ice tea and was great. Maybe everywhere in TX it is brewed but not always in WI. The bowl of gumbo looked and tasted great. It come just a little late, and my gator tale was on time, so the timing wasn’t perfect. But both dishes where top notch especially considering the price. I finished the evening with the bread pudding which I cannot recommend. It is very likely prepared ahead and kept cold and then microwaved before finishing with a very excellent sauce. Alicia took it back and heated it more which improved it but still cannot recommend it. I would definitely be back. Very enjoyable meal. I was able to get seated in the outdoor patio area which is great for people watching.

Came here with a group of coworkers while in town for a conference. The place is intended to be fun and it does not take itself too seriously. The menus are made like a comic strip and poke fun and the redneck Cajun lifestyle. If this is what you are in the mood for, lots of fried food and mixed drinks, and not looking for a straight laced seafood restaurant, then this is the place for you to go. The servers were very friendly, and place was clean with a fun atmosphere. I ordered the Rat Toes, just too see what they were like. They are huge, and while they were good, wow, they are a something to behold. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp, and it was very good. My friend got the ribs, and they were huge! Everyone was happy with their food, and we did not leave hungry. It was fun, and a nice change of pace from the overly high priced steak houses on the square.

AJ is the best. I had to say that he was accommodating to all of our request. He gave suggestions and made our evening fun. I can’t say about the others dinner, but we started with chicken wings, it was tasty. On our table we had pork chop and Cajun Combo and I had the Tricky fish which was grilled tilapia with Crawfish étouffée with dirty rice. I enjoyed my meal and so did everyone. I also had the watermelon crawler, and the other had the Margarita with the coronita and the bloody mary. This location is really convenient after the concert at Sundance. The décor is very southern.

The food was skimpy, my picture if you can see is attached. The taste was good that’s why they are getting three stars. For 13 bucks I expected a little more shrimp and fish.

First time here and the food was excellent. Friendly staff with patience and understanding to all types of customers(from what we noticed). Service is fast and correct on all orders. Atmosphere is not too bad and if you’re a novice to Cajun experience, you’re sold. Not a bad place to chill and have some good food with good company. Prices ain’t bad either.

This one of my favorite Cajun food places. Yeah I know it’s not true Louisiana style but it gets the job done. I recommend the étouffée and crawfish fondue. Oh, and don’t forget to take advantage of the free hard candy at the hostess station.

Bloody Mary was average. Hoped for a infused vodka not well taaka. The garnishments were ehh(one olive). I got there at 11 am and the staff was still in setup/waking up mode. Not very engaging or friendly. I ordered boudin balls and they were battered and fried. They were ok, just glad they were priced as a special at $ 5.00. At this average experience I did not want to try much else. I settled up and had lunch someplace elsewhere…

The last three times I have order the my Fire Chicken Wings and they have been under cook. I have call to tell the manager about the problems with the Chicken. They act like I’m bothering them about telling them that the product that I paid for is under cooked you can give me food poisoning. Razoos is one of my favorite places to eat but the last couple of times it has not been a great place the food is not like the other restaurants in the area.

I’m a big fan of razzoos. I know it’s a chain and not as exciting as a locally owned restaurant but in this level of restaurant I much prefer it to tgif/chilis. For that matter I prefer it to Cheesecake Factory as well. The atmosphere is fun, kind of noisy but lots of random stuff on the walls. Tvs have the games on, the bar is there for your adult beverages both beer and more exotic trademark concoctions. They have a version of a hurricane which is pretty good. Drinks come with a strand of Mardi Gras beads which is fun and a little more family friendly than the correct and proper way to get the beads. Kids enjoy the kids menu and this latest time were given a strand of Beads which they enjoyed playing with while coloring their color sheets. The fried alligator basket which lately haven’t seen on the menu but they got it is awesome. I’ve had this a several different places and I think razzoos has the best. Their gumbo is good. Their crawfish ettoufee is one of my all time favorites. But this last visit I found my new favorite. The Trickey Fish. It is a white fish fillet(assuming tilapia but I don’t know for sure) covered in the crawfish ettoufee. Oh man right now that is my favorite dish almost anywhere.

Our family friends brought us here for lunch when we were in town over Thanksgiving. Although fried Cajun food is not my regular go-to, this TX chain that started up in Dallas/Ft. Worth turned out to be a great choice. They also have free valet parking(bring a tip), which is quite nice for downtown Ft. Worth. Recommend: *Raw salty oysters — these were delicious, and coming from CA, they were on par with oysters served at SF oyster bars and also super affordable in comparison( ) *Gator tail —(alligator meat over jambalaya) — also a great choice if it’s offered(seasonal) *Gumbeaux(cajun soup o life) — great soup choice that can also be a light meal(okra, veggies, rice, shriimp, oysters, and fresh fish) *Jalapeño catfish — fried catfish *Hush puppies — great side choice Avoid: Anything in the«Rabbit Food» section. C’mon, this is not the place for a salad…

While staying in downtown Fort Worth I stopped here for a late(9pm) dinner. Good selection of items on the menu. Seated quickly, received a beer pretty quickly, then waited 10 minutes for my order to be taken. Ordered the fried catfish po boy. Food delivered hot, full plate including fries and 3 hush puppies. The sandwich was very good and tasty. The hush puppies were very slightly undercooked. Nice fun ambiance, friendly staff, only slightly busy on a Monday evening. Beer, sandwich, and tip — $ 20.

Here is another place I have to go to when I’m in town. I love the atmosphere of this place, it’s always busy and I love the fact it has a patio. I usually sit outside and people watch while I eat and drink. The waiters are usually young and upbeat and are always nice. They have a great location right Across the street from sundance square, where all the action is ! I’ve been coming here for years but the only item I order is the catfish platter. Not sure why but It’s my favorite. The portion is pretty big, the fish is prepared nicely with a hint of spiciness, the cajun fries are amazing and so is the corn on the cob! To top it off it also includes hushpuppies another favorite of mine.
The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. So if you are in the mood for cajun food, fried food, this is definitely the place to try.

Good customer service. Happy hours price is unbeatable. $ 3.5 margarita and hurricane(HUGE). Their oysters price is very affordable for $ 13.99/ dozen. Grilled oysters add $ 2, come with garlic buttery bread. Parking around this area is a trouble. Walking distance to Starbucks and jamba juice and AMC theater. Perfect location for a date night

Razzoo’s is a normal cajun seafood chain restaurant. I say normal since I’ve been to many others, and they all seem to have a similar approach: crazy festive atmosphere with a mixture of antique and junk thrown on the walls, add something or another that reflects a tourists idea of New Orleans, reasonable service, average prices, and typical chain food. I love fresh gulf seafood. I recognize the inherent difficulty of getting truly fresh seafood so far inland, but it can be done. I wasn’t able to get a waiter to understand I wanted to know if they served«Gulf» shrimp, as opposed to farm raised. I dropped it and went with the seafood platter. I am not a fan of farm raised seafood, and this chain, like most, uses whatever is considered common and is cheaply priced. Such is the state of the average seafood restaurant in mainland America to this day. They do have a drink that is fun and good, the gator bowl(I think it is called). We order the drink for the number of people at the table, so it varies in size based on how many you have. Then they put these crazy fun over-sized straws and tell everyone to dive in. I admit this drink is probably the primary reason we go to Razoo’s in general. This specific location, adjacent to Sundance Square in trendy Fort Worth, is a great location.

We stopped in for drinks with friends while in town for the National Championship Game and had a decent time. Décor: The theme of this place should be obvious; you’re eatin’ down on the bayou! It’s a fun place that is meant for hanging out and nothing very serious. It is a really good sized place and has a large bar with plenty of seats. It’s also well lit and has plenty of TVs to catch a game. Bathroom: Rustic and keeps with the theme of the rest of the place. Not that well lit but gets the job done. Staff: The bartenders were friendly and FAST! There was a decent crowd but you would never have noticed with how well the two tended bar. Food/Drinks: We only had beers but they were cold. They have a great selection and some homemade cocktails that are decent as well. Value: Prices are relatively cheap, you won’t lose your shirt here on a night(or meal) out. I used to live in Fort Worth and hit Razzoo’s for dinner every Friday night, so coming back was a treat. The place has not changed at all and I hope it never does! I can’t wait to come back again.
