My favorite local dive, a great place to relax, talk with friends and enjoy yourself without pretense. The bartenders are great, and that’s what they are, bartenders. They can make you any drink you’d like, but they don’t do table service, and that’s perfectly fine with me!
The owner is in pretty regularly and also owns the Bull & Bush, he’s great to talk to and the best guy to teach you how to play Top Golf!
Overall a great place to relax with your close friends, have some beers, play pool and throw darts.

People are really complaining about the staff and regulars not being friendly enough? It’s a pub, not Chili’s. Grow up. This place rules and its smoky as hell, because IT’S A PUB. No one noticed you walk in and shrink at the end of the bar? Belly up and order an adult beverage in your big boy voice, YOU’RE IN A PUB. And a damn fine one at that.

It’s a fairly average dive bar. It smells like an ashtray, and there are regulars sitting at the bar. It does have a lot of dartboards, TVs, a projector, and a jukebox, though, so people can keep themselves entertained.
Drink prices were also average – not too cheap, not too expensive. I’d guess that the average age of the crowd is 25.
Overall, the lack of ventilation makes this a one time visit for me.

Sound system is pretty lame and OMG it is so freakin smokey! Air filtration unit would help some. Maybe if the city had a smoking ban more people would visit, I know I won’t be back because of the smoke!

This is my bar of choice. It’s really mellow during happy hour, and a single female can hang out without being annoyed by douchey drunk dudes. I love that there are two bartenders that are still there through my 5 years of going. The internet jukebox is great, the dart boards are fun, and odd thing… the ladies room stays really clean. If you like older British men, smokey bars, beer, and darts this is the place for you. Else wise stay away, and don’t disturb the flow.

I agree with the other reviewer. Uninviting. We left after 5+ minutes sitting there without anyone bothering to greet or take our order. Also the smoke was literally choking me by the time I sat down.
If you don’t know someone who already goes there you won’t be welcome.

Tuesday night, walked in to a cold environment and I’m not just talking about the temperature. No greeting or even an acknowledgment that me and my buddy were there.
After being there for nearly 10 minutes and no sign of even an offer of a drink, we left.
I used to live next door to a pub when living in England and found this place to be very un-​inviting.

Been a regular for years. Excellent beer selection, both tap and bottle, with many local brews featured. Great atmosphere, with darts, pool, big screen TV, and Golden Tee. Plenty of awesome people to schmooze with from all walks of life, from business owners to public servants, even airmen and pilots from NAS Fort Worth right up the road.
Just don’t call it a «bar.» It’s a PUB. Nick, the owner, will be happy to explain the difference. He’s there almost every night, gladly mingling with his patrons, almost as if he’s one of us. And because of that, I gladly give him my business.

Great selection of really nice beers on tap and otherwise in a comfortable atmosphere. Helpful, friendly bartenders. Smoking is allowed but there doesn’t seem to be offensive lingering smoke to this nonsmoker.

5 stars to this place because they are awesome. The bartenders are great and remember you. The vibe is perfect, I was very surprised the first time I visited this place given it’s location. I have tried and discovered many many new awesome brews here. They have a superb beer selection, I try to give something new a try each time I go.
The bartenders are great at helping you pick something if you aren’t really sure what to try. There was one time I wasn’t really fond of the suggestion they hooked me up with, and what did they do? Completely comped it from my tab. And all I did was say that I wasn’t a fan of the beer.
It is a very small place, so good luck on getting a game of pool in on the weekend. But people are usually friendly and are happy to share the table.
