Update: forgot to mention that unless you sit at the bar expect a solid 30 min gap between seeing your waitress. They tend to ignore guests outside of the bar.

Very poor service and even worse management. This used to be one of my favorite bars to attend to watch sports, but the wait staff is unsufferably inept and any complaint to the managers falls on deaf ears.

This place is sooooooooooooo depressing! The prices are ok. It just seems so outdated and boring. The food is typical lackluster bar food. It’s like one of the bars that needs to be on bar rescue!

We have eaten here in the past so stopped in for burgers and a drink. My wife had a frozen margarita and some wings and I had a cold beer and a bacon cheeseburger. Service was OK & drinks were good. My wife said her wings were good, now to my bacon cheeseburger-​bun was burnt dry meat & lettuce was wilted. Not near as good as my last in/​out burger.

Very very poorly ran. All the bartenders would rather look at their phone than wait on customers. They have 50 or so TV’s. The manager would not change 1 TV for a local sports team. Will not be going back

Bad service from the bar, ordered a drink made whiskey and ginger ale, got a drink with whiskey and Coke, returned it and was told they made it correctly. Service is very slow from the bar. 6 employees behind the bar serving, only one or maybe two mixing drinks, the rest only pouring beer.

If the reason smoking was removed is because of state mandate due to separation of ventilation which they dont have, then that sucks. If it’s because of whiny non-​smoking prats, then I say… I hope you’re happy.
Frankly, I think the cigarette smoke (which was never that horrible even on Friday or Saturday nights) masked the latent body odor smell permeating from Fit For Life next door. My theory? Shared ventilation system between the two businesses or something. Fox and Hound currently has a sweaty locker room stench that hits you like a punch in the face the second you walk in the door. I’m not sure how people working there can tolerate the musty jock strap aroma for their entire shift and it certainly makes me not want to hang out there. Old cigarette smoke in the carpets does not smell like a fragrance derived from liquified athletes foot.
I do still love their chicken fingers to death, but fuck if imma hang out there for an extended period of time. I’ll just get that shit to go. Anyone who thinks it smells better now than before is A) out of their mind and/​or B) incapable of smelling anything.

A far cry from their original Ft. Worth location downtown in the old Kress building. Assuming that its owned by same soulless snots, they’ve finally found a location large enough to house their egos. Seriously, this place is the size of a mega-​mart and only half the floor space is devoted to games – the only reason you should want to try the place on to begin with, because the food is completely sub-​standard and the beer/​drink menu just average for the price. On the plus side, they’ve got great tables and darts, the waitress is prompt, and orders come out quickly with high accuracy. Too bad this place seems to lack a soul.

I love the fox and hound!!! My boyfriend and I come here often and their drink specials are always good. They have one every day of the week! It’s chill here even on the weekends which I love. The drinks are pretty good sizes as well. And free wifi!

Place smells like dog s**t, bartenders always look like you are an inconvenience, and they take forever to get drinks… the music isn’t great but I’ve heard worse. And their prices are high… only reason I go is because my friends do.

I can’t even begin to explain the amazing service that we had. Not only is the food delish, but our waitress, Megan R was on it. Specifically asked how each of our dinner items were, asked how our drinks were and was always keeping our water glasses full. The manager pleasantly stopped by and checked on us and our food. Honestly, I have paid way more for dinner than I did at this establishment. and I’ll come back here any day. These people love their job and it shows.

Rating is more attributed to serving size and waitress. Fri nt party In the billiards room, multiple checks. Everything ordered and correctly delivered, care given to our needs and taste opinions, patience with questions.
Chili cheese fries good but too much for one order.
We were not looking forward to the drive, but would do it again thanks to our waitress, Jessica.

This place is awesome! Spinach and Artichoke dip was rather expensive for the amount received. Fish and Chips were amazing! I could have ate those all day long. The manager Elisabeth came over, asked how our food was and carried a conversation with my mom and I. Not one of those small talk managers that’s just doing it to receive a paycheck. She was sincere, fun talking to and very polite. My waitress was also very nice and was quick, wasn’t fooling around picking her nose. but was very focused and seemed to get things accomplished. I will be back here again for sure! Not to mention on Tuesdays it’s $ 2 for a beer. even for Guinness. Such a steal haha

Now that this place is nonsmoking it is tolerable to be inside for a bit. The ladies at the door are always nice and friendly. This is a self seating place and there’s always room somewhere. They have an above average beer selection and they do have a beer menu. Yay! Now if you ask the bartenders what style of beer one of the rotating taps is, prepare to get the wrong answer. The very attractive bartenders act like they don’t care much about learning about the products they sell and I’ve encountered very few that are friendly.
Tuesday is $ 2 and change pint nite which is about the only time I come here. I’ve eaten here once and wouldn’t do it again. Food is very average. Prices are around 10 bucks for just about anything and now that they have cut the menu to the quick I definitely recommend eating elsewhere. My friends come and have a few pints then go to Chipotle to eat. They do have half price pizza night on Monday and $ 2 tacos on Thursday during happy hour. If you’re nearby, it’s worth a quick stop for a drink but don’t go out of your way

Went there last night. long piece of hair found in cheese dip. The hot wings taste twangy and something not right about them. Fish n chips wasn’t bad. However, today I am extremely sick and had to go to doctor and it’s definitely off the food! Felt it as soon as I left FH..

I’m going to be generous and give this place a 4 star. The main reason being is the games they have, which is a great way to spend an evening. They have shuffle board, pool tables, ping pong, giant jenga and computer games.
As this place is only down the road from me, I kept meaning to try it out.
The atmosphere is great, really relaxed, a broad range of ages. The bar is split into two, with the games at the back and tables and benches at the front.
Our waitress was fun and attentive, and made sure we always had a drink even if it was water.
The biggest thing I’m not a huge fan of is the smoke. If they had a smoking area, it would be more appealing as I came out reeking of smoke.
I’ll be back though to try their food, and as it’s a local bar, it’s a great place to have some fun with the games section.

Walked into a very smokey room, so ventured to the next room to eat and watch games on tv. Half of the beers we ordered were either flat or tasted like soap. The final bill was wrong. The french fries are good, and I always get the french dip which was also good.

So I have to start off by saying that this is where we host my clubs bike night every week. This is an honest, non biased review, that really has nothing to do with bike nights, but it does give me a really good base to give an honest review. This place might appeal to the teens who are not twenty one yet, but want to play a game of pool. It has an open, friendly atmosphere that is very inviting to all ages.
Food here is of the bar type variety, but nothing special. I will say that I do enjoy their chips and salsa and on certain nights the fish and chips can be a big hit as well. The service is spotty depending on who is working that night. I will say that any time I’ve talked to management they are TOP NOTCH, I’m always highly impressed with how any issues have been handled (which are very few). Management even makes a point to come out and say hi sometimes, which is nice.
One thing I can’t understand is why have three huge rooms and not at least have one of them non smoking. This would be a huge plus to anyone who hates smoke and would bring in a customer base who normally would not go. Overall drinks are fairly priced and plenty of TV’s to make the biggest sports fan happy.

I love coming here after work to enjoy a cold beer and appetizers. Tuesday nights are best because every pint of beer is $ 2! They also do offer late night appetizer specials, which includes boneless chicken wings and quesadillas, both being my favorite. They serve typical bar food — burgers, pizza, flatbreads, pretzels, etc. and also some dinner dishes like steak and fish. Usually bars like this at night don’t really serve good quality food but Fox and Hound exceeds my expectations, especially service wise. The servers and bartenders are quick to greet you and are super friendly throughout your visit.
They also have games like darts, pool and shuffleboard where you can also enjoy food and drinks. Tvs are located everywhere so you have the ability to watch pretty much anything and everything. Music is good, a bit smokey for my taste, but it is a bar.
