There is an amazing little cake shop that just opened up in the Historic South Side. Quaint and Charming, this bakery offers a selection of pies and cakes that are mouthwatering. I spoke with the owners Lori and Tony who explained their cake and pie selection. I settled on the lemon chess pie. The filling was pillow-​like and the crust was baked to perfection. They have managed to find the right balance between sweet and sour that makes this pie amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other flavors. They are a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
