The burgers are juicy and everything tastes fresh. The atmosphere is chill. We had a little bit of a wait on our food because the cook had to clean the vent. The server explained and brought us some complimentary homemade chips. No complaints here… those chips are delicious.

Nobody likes multi-night hospital stays and we needed some comfort food and found Tommy’s on Unilocal.Fantastic, we ordered the Cheese Burger and a Catfish dinner and it hit the spot! The onion rings were a perfect upgrade.

Well I hav÷ been a fan of Tommys for many years. I have eaten at all locations and never been treated the way i2 have been tonight. I’m very disappointed. I asked for an appetizer like my regular waitress fixes a minor issue i noticed. And i have never felt belittled like i have tonight. Tge waitress acted like I was from outer space. And said she had been here for two years and the kitcgen didnt carry my request. Very poor customer seevice. I know the owners and will be letting her know the issue. Very disappointed and dont plan on coming back any time soon. No one should be treated like I dont know what im talking about! I bet i could show uo for lunch and have what i normally get from my regular waitress. Not friendly people and dont plan on coming back! Now my buddys are eating, I’m not, and his frys are cold. Seriously? Rocket science! Not a good place. They get a negative 5 tonight!

Just returned from this establishment. We had a coupon sort of like Groupon. We seated ourselves and waited about ten minutes for the server to come to the table. We ordered drinks and she later returned to take our order. Nothing amiss there. In about twenty minutes, our order arrived. Bacon Swiss burger and a catfish basket. My husband began to eat his burger and grease flowed out of the wrapper, so we employed paper towels from the roll on the table(this should have been our first clue). Apparently the bacon was not sufficiently cooked and the bacon grease soaked the bun, making eating the burger a miserable mess. The meat was good, but the rest was pretty bad. The catfish was excellent, light, crispy, fresh tasting. The fries that came with both meals were like something you would find at the bottom of the fryer left from the previous day — dark, over-cooked and greasy, what few that were not over-cooked were flaccid and not appetizing. The server was fine, she was dutiful and attended to our drinks throughout the meal. No complaint there. The restaurant was noisy with crying children and unhappy guests that had waited a considerable time for their meals. In that the burger scene in Fort Worth is extremely competitive, I would think this place would step up their game. I will not be returning, coupon or not. I would rather have a Navajo burger(gas station burger in Lake Worth) that this greasy mess.

Tommy’s is on my way home from work, so I often find myself calling in to-go orders. I rate most of my weekday restaurants based on the to-go experience, and Tommy’s is one of the best. They are prompt and polite answering the phone, and my food is always freshly prepared and ready when I get to the restaurant(about 10 minutes). There is plenty of parking, and you pick up your food at the normally empty bar area(left side when you walk in). The burgers hold up well in transit, and the beef has a great flavor. The tots are good, but they can get a little soggy in the styrofoam take out containers(would probably be better if they used vented recyclable boxes). Overall, a great experience with little hassle.

A good cheeseburger & good fries. Our waitress was pretty rude though. We ventured out for lunch to celebrate national cheeseburger day & when I was taking a picture of our burgers, our waitress said«I hope your burgers get cold.» We all held back our own rude comments, hers was unnecessary.

Best burger in Fort Worth, easy! You’ve just gotta upgrade your fries to Froggie Fries to be really decadent. Killer ranch dressing, amazing service. LOVE the owner Kelly! For sure my go-to when I am in town.(Born and raised in TX but live elsewhere now) Thanks, Tommy’s, for KILLING it!

The food was great, but we spent an hour waiting for our food and even then only half of our table got served while the other half waited an additional 20 minutes for their food. I would chalk it up to the restaurant being busy and understaffed, but when my colleague asked for it to go box immediately after receiving her food, it still took a long time. So much time, that we gave up and went and got one ourselves at check out. This restaurant has some severe service problems as far as I can see.

These burgers are absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is so Fort Worth-y. The business seems to be family owned. Service here was friendly and welcoming. They also have a pet friendly patio! I will definitely be going back with my two pups once it cools down! I would bring anyone I know here for a cool, casual dining experience.

Great homemade burgers, comparable to Jake’s Burgers. Had the Green Chile Burger. Great service. I will definitely be coming back.

After my parents got a groupon for this place, we tried it last week. I went in with very little confidence in getting a good hamburger but was pleasantly surprised. I had tried Fred’s the previous week and although the quality and flavor were great, it was overcooked because I hadn’t asked for«medium», which is what you’re supposed to do according to others at my table. Here, I wasn’t going to make that mistake so I requested medium, and the waitress responded«that’s what we cook all our burgers to». Now that’s smart. Why the hell would a burger place intentionally burn their burgers!!! So, I ordered the Ghost Pepper Burger. It sounds scary, but really was just a little spicier than pepper jack. Had great flavor, and the burger was cooked where there was still some pink in it, so it was juicy. Bun was decent and veggies were fresh. The fries I liked a lot as well. They were the skinny fries that were obviously hand-cut, and they were cooked well. The only thing I’ll do next time is request they be cooked until a little crunch, but that’s just personal preference. The prices are a little inflated in my opinion. I don’t think they’re quite as good as Rodeo Goat, yet their prices are equal. We will definitely go back however, especially if they keep doing the groupon.

We came and ordered the ghost burger and the junkyard burger which was the most expensive burger on the menu and our orders got mixed up or something because all I got was jalepenos instead of the ghost chilies and my hubby got a really small burger on a wheat bun. Burgers also cMe out really greasy. Don’t waste your money.

Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the food was nice & warm but the service was ice cold. Did not feel welcomed at all. When my mother & I first walked in, the gentlemen immediately assumed we were carrying out. The very next customer walks in & he says sit where you like. Weird. Anywho, the food was delicious! I love their sweet potato fries. I got the Hickory Cheddar burger. Great from the bun to the cheese to the meat to the grilled onions!

Not a bad burger, but not that great either… Especially considering the competition in the area. Good attempts on the menu to provide something for every kind of burger-lover: traditional to exotic. Just not a lot of wow factor. The patty was nicely prepared but a bit bland. I had to rely on the toppings for flavor which made the burger more about tomato and pickle and onion and less about the meat. The service was good, but that doesn’t get the food to 4 stars. FYI — VERY casual place.

The burgers were very good. The bun was fresh, the veggies were nice and crisp, and the burger was very flavorful. It was lean but mot dry. Our server was very efficient and friendly and we were served very quickly which was good because we were really hungry.

Really good burgers. They need to work on their fries, but the tater tots are pretty good. Service is so-so. We were given little cups because they had ran out of the larger ones and our waiter was doing so many other things it was hard to catch him to re-fill our drinks. Since I paid with cash, he shorted me $ 10. Had to remind him I would come back because the burgers are good

Food is cheap, burgers are good, dollar drafts Monday through Wednesday, they give your dog a bowl of water on the patio, service is friendly, NOCOMPLAINTS! I liked this better than that dutchs burger place!

We found ourselves here by accident and had quite a nice meal. I very much enjoyed my green chile goat cheese burger and everyone else enjoyed theirs as well. Their fries are thin fresh cut; the green beans aren’t that exciting but heck, it’s nice to have a healthier side offered as an inclusion option with a burger that isn’t a salad or a big upcharge. We sat out on the patio on a nice day, which was pleasant and there was tons of parking available. Comparing it to my favorite other burger joint in the general area, the burger itself I think was about as good as Dutch’s though I prefer Dutch’s buns. That said, I hate the parking situation at Dutch’s so would be far more likely to go to Tommy’s for a weekday lunch or during peak hours. The price for a burger & side ranges averages about $ 8 – 9 + tax & tip, not including your drink. The burgers are definitely half pound burgers though so you will not leave hungry. I think Dutch’s ends up more expensive if you actually want a side with your burger; if you just eat a burger it’s cheaper there since it is a la carte. At Dutch’s I usually only get the burger and am stuffed. So overall, it’s probably the 2nd best burger I’ve had in Fort Worth proper but probably an easier location to deal with so I’m sure we’ll come again.

My wife and I go to Tommy’s on Camp Bowie regularly and enjoy the burgers as well as the great service. First time on Forest Park and the food is also good along with the friendly, great service. I have been going to Tommy;s for 30 years since their first location in a gas station on Navajo Trl off 820. They feel like old friends and will always recommend them to my friends,
