Hands down the best burger place around. The meat is super fresh and the buns are sublime. I always go for either the Black & Bleu Burger or the Farmhouse Burger, double pattie of course. If you are super hungry, you won’t be after you eat one of these. The first place I have ever tried fried pickles was over at Flips, and I was not a fan. Here they are awesome! They are actually crispy and go great dipped in ranch. Every other place I have had them they end up soggy. Way better than Smashburger! They use Nolan Ryan beef, the best stuff around these parts. Oh, I almost forgot the onion rings. They are MASSIVE and JUICY. If you like onion rings, these will blow your mind.

This restaurant is one minute from my house. I am embarrassed to say that I ate here for the first time today. It was fantastic! I got the farmhouse burger which has a plethora of tastes in the burger. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly. We even had a coupon which made the price ridiculously low. I will definitely be back in the future!

TPR burger is tucked away in the corner of the shopping center but don’t overlook this locally owned gem. They have a long list of burger specialties including all your burger standards and some that would please the discriminating foodies palate(strawberry serano jam on a burger or a cajun blackened burger with blue cheese!) Now that we have found it, TPR is definitely on our go to list for burgers.

I am such a fan of this place! The staff is always friendly and up and the food is high quality and delicious. I love the variety of burgers. Each one has it’s own unique combination of ingredients. Highly recommended

I have eaten in all 50 states and several countries. Not only is TPR burger one of the best burger places I have eaten at in all my travels, but it is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. I just finished a Whiskey Burger, my usual order, and came the the realization that there is no better burger to be eaten. It is perfection. Every detail is considered and the flavor a build upon each other. The meat is cooked to perfection(medium), the sweet whisky sauce is a compliment to the salty onion ring and bacon. The deliciousness is all contained in a perfectly sized sweet roll. It has the taste of brioche bread. The roll is the perfect bun for this burger. It is gourmet, by every sense of the word, without being over priced. What you get at TPR is something special. It is a well thought out delicious masterpiece. I don’t mean that pejoratively. It is a masterpiece. Please come and support this local business.

I’ve had this place twice already and each time I was satisfied! I’m always on a look out for a good burger joint and I love supporting our local small business! I had the single patty whiskey burger; it came with bacon, cheese, whiskey sauce, fried onions, and a chipotle mayo. BOYWASITAMAZING! I couldn’t not stop licking my fingers. I also got a side of the sweet potato fries with marshmallow crème sauce defiantly fulfilled my sweet tooth. My husband got the green chile burger with guac added on it and I can just say I didn’t even get to sample his because he ate that bad boy so fast and he wasn’t even hungry!

Meh. The burgers just aren’t that great. Some people rave about this place and I just don’t see what’s so special about it.

Our first trip to TPR Burger was a success. There are 15 burgers to choose from in addition to chicken, pulled pork, and a BLT. There are appetizers to choose from as well of a couple of salads. Desert is a fried pb&j sandwich that I’ll try next trip. All burgers are double patty, or you can opt for a single for 50 cents less(but why?). The patties are cooked to order and condiments are plentiful. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. TPR stands for Texas Pacific Restaurant reflecting the owners upbringing. The restaurant is decorated in sport memorabilia and has 2 tvs which were tuned to ESPN. Come visit this neighborhood spot.

I found this joint through groupon and I’m glad I did. There are a variety of unique burgers that are toasty and delicious! The fries are nice, perfect thickness and not overly salty. Great amount of fries for only $ 1.50. The only critique I have is that the burgers should be a dollar or two cheaper(they cost about $ 8) but with a groupon this isn’t a problem.

We’ve been twice. The first time we ate-in, brought our 3 kids, and waited FOREVERRRR. There were maybe 2 other families eating in, too. and I felt awkward after waiting so long, sort of loitering around the countertop area to see when our stuff would be finally ready. It was just weird how long it took for a couple of burgers and kids meals. This second time we opted for take-out — for fear of the long wait again. Didn’t have to wait on our order, yay! But, I ordered nachos and told them NO jalapenos! They even repeated the order. And my nachos were covered in them. It’d be fine if they were WHOLE ones, that I could easily pick off. but they were chopped up and just everywhere. Totally ruined it, I was bummed. The sweet potato fries(w/salt!) were delish, but way way overpriced at $ 4.50 for a small salad plate size portion of them.

I really don’t get all the good reviews. My wife and I went here and really wanted to like it since it is close to home but it just wasn’t good! The burgers have to be frozen patties. They tasted like rubber. They definitely weren’t what I was expecting, fresh hand formed beef. But on the other hand, the fries were very good. And the burger bun was great. Now if they would just use some better(unfrozen) beef. Probably won’t return based on our first impression. Smashburger or Kinkaids is much better.

My sister and I tried this burger joint today for the first time, which is funny because we are both vegetarians. We checked beforehand and knew they had a veggie patty. We started with fried pickles with ranch. The basket was huge, and they were hot and crispy and so good! There are so many burger options, it was hard to choose! I went with the guacamole burger(with a veggie patty), and my sister went with the buffalo burger(with a veggie patty). Both were so good! They were messy, but I believe the messier the better! Even the bun is grilled and crispy without being buttery. The burgers were huge! We both had a tough time finishing half. Oh, and we had cheese fries. The fries are homemade and weren’t overly salted. In fact, we added some. I hate that I didn’t catch the cashier/servers name, because she was very friendly and checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. Overall, we were happy to try a new place and happy with the choice we made. Give it a try!

I always keep my eyes peeled for a good burger. I read quite a few good reviews of TPR, so we headed out to give ‘er a try. This is a clean little joint decked out in local sports memorabilia and the staff is quite friendly & helpful. Let me just say that if you’re gonna just be a burger shop, then you better do it big and that’s what these guys do. The burger menu is HUGE. So many options that we just sat and stared for 15 mins trying to make up our minds. We settled with the Whiskey Burger and wifey had just a regular bacon cheese burger. I opted for the onion rings as my side. A few minutes later, delivered to the table, were a couple hot, fresh, & juicy burgers with toasted buns. The burgers were stacked and looked great. I will say that I like my bacon a bit crispier, but their choice of bacon was outstanding! Wifey’s was served with handcut fries and they were good. Mine came with these GIANT onion rings. I’m not a huge fan of giant onion rings, but these were fine. They were fried well, but when they’re big like that, they tend to be a little dull in taste to me. I’d prefer smaller sized and zippier onion rings. I will add that the homemade Spicy Ranch is fantastic. You can taste the jalapeño. Well done! To be honest, I’ve had a better burger, but make no mistake, this is a very good one. We will go back because there’s so many to choose from and as stated before, the staff is great!

Sometimes in life you need a double bacon cheeseburger. We were craving a burger and the one restaurant we wanted to try was closed so we decided to stop here. I ordered the Whiskey Burger. Bacon, cheese, and a whiskey sauce? Yes, please! We don’t usually eat out, but after a nice workout at the gym and nothing but home cooked meals for the past 2 or so weeks I wanted something greasy. The burger was delicious. Definitely messy, but delicious. I must have used 3 – 4 napkins. The sweet potato fries were different than what I was expecting, but they were good too. They are more sweet than savory so next time I might try their regular fries or next time I’d at least save the sweet potato fries for dessert. Negatives: I think this place is slightly overpriced. For $ 10/burger I’d at least like the option to order it medium and have a better quality beef patty. I like a little pink in the middle of my burgers. These all looked well-done which burgers should never be IMO. The bacon, bun, cheese, etc was on point, but the patty fell short.

It’s rare for me to give a burger joint five-stars. I’d give TPR five stars but items on the table like the ketchup bottle and salt/pepper shakers were nasty greasy. Once I used the ketchup I needed to wash my hands. I checked another table and it was the same. On the positive side, the home cut fries were fresh and crispy. I had the Bacon Bleu cheese burger which was fantastic. While all hamburgers come with a double patty, you can order a single patty. I ordered a single and it was more than filling. What made it so good were the buns. I don’t know what kind of buns they made, but it is reminiscent of brioche. It was good enough that the next time I go, I’m bringing the wife.

This place deserves 10 stars!!! I need to go back and change all my burger reviews because NOPLACE tops this place. First the food is amazing! All fresh ingredients. I got the Whiskey Burger and it was awesome! My wife got the Guacamole Burger with fresh guacamole! And we literally were arguing who’s burger was better. Two notes… The ranch is amazing. Pour it in a glass and I’ll drink this stuff. And I have no idea what the buns are made of but yum! I absolutely love that they play two types of music… Christian and Oldies! They may get sick of how much I visit this place. If I was going to start a burger joint. I would have made it just like TPR Burgers. Soooooo blown away! *** Update: I’ve been there twice now in 1-week. This place is not a fluke. The burger(which I seriously have dreamt about) was just as great as before. FYI I drove 45-minutes this time just to eat here. And it was all worth it!

Since new owners took over, there has definitely been a HUGE hike in prices, change of atmosphere, and change in food. Prices are now way too expensive for me to go there anymore. I used to go at least once a week, but heck, my husband and I can go eat half price burgers at Applebee’s on Mondays and spend $ 15 for both our meals instead of paying these high prices for mediocre food. No more complimentary fried pickles either as the previous owners used to do. Staff is very friendly. Clean restaurant.

My first impression was that it was pretty empty considering the reviews. I even mentioned this to a man that was parking as I was walking in. I had motioned to him to lower his window so I could ask him if he was going there so I could ask his opinion. He wasn’t. He was getting Vietnamese. I decided on the Farmhouse Burger. It was alone a large burger worthy of its price tag considering its a chuck blend and not a defrosted Sysco bulk meat patty or something I can buy in bulk at Costco.(Yeah, I’ve noticed you cheap bastards) Hand formed beef used here… The young lady taking my order was very cordial and openly answered my questions about my menu choices and the business. The first bite was glorious. The idea of strawberries and jalapeño sounded strange but definitely works although I would experiment with a sauce the consistency of mayo. That way that flavor, that totally works by the way, blend evenly throughout the burger. That was my ONLY complaint. That being(While we’re on the sub-subject) that my last bite that was pretty much only made up of bun; only with the Strawberry Serrano Moore Jam. So… My final taste was basically breakfast toast. Bummer… [Sauce] That last bite should at least be the jalapenos and strawberries together in a spread. BUT…The burger was outstanding. Like I said, the Strawberry Serrano Moore Jam and jalapenos work. And the bun in itself was stout. Not your basic bun. This bun comes from a bakery in Houston. Lest we not forget he other items onboard which include. BACON, cheddar AND a fried egg. Well… you have a LARGE tasty burger. I also added the fries that are fried very well(If you like crispy and I do) but there were soft ones too and well seasoned. I will ask for extra seasoning next time but only to shake things up but these fries stood their ground OEM. So. Bring your appetite. It’s lot of food and it is worth the extra shillings. Four stars only because I’m still in search of THE perfect burger and there are a lot of them out there yet to be tasted. But yes, give it a try. Next time. Whisky Burger.

Double with cheese and fried pickles. Passed by and saw the marquis. Unilocaled it and was sold. Walked in and it’s super casual. Ordered at the counter and everyone was super friendly. Then they brought my fried pickles. Light and crunchy and with a rocking spicy ranch. Oh so good. The burger was served on the greatest bread, toasted piled high with all the fixins. I’ll be back. Also, looks like they’re great for takeout.
