Whataburger

We stopped to go thru the drive thru. This restaurant has a double drive thru and they were moderately busy it being a Friday night. There were two cars in front of us.
The service was not good. Very slow. Having said that I have to say the food was excellent. We had burgers and fries and when we got home the food was hot and fresh.
The young lady that brought our food to us (Lessit) was very friendly and did a lot to make our visit pleasant.

Don’t understand how or why but it seems like the closer you get to Dallas, Whataburger gets better and better. And I don’t think it’s just hunger from driving as my friends agreed. Picked this location for a quick grub haul before the game. Service was fast and friendly, place was super clean and the food was excellent.
Not sure why but we also noticed that the staff was very well dressed. They appeared to all be wearing brand new uniforms. Clean everywhere, great food for a fair price.

I went here excited to try the burger and i got horribly sick. The food here was atrociously presented and to make things worse it was nasty. 10 minutes on the road after eating i felt like throwing up this nasty food. Wait no, this dog s*** because dogs won’t even eat it. WORSE FOOD EVER!

They have good and fast service. I ordered the chicken strips and they took a while for them to be ready. Other than that this what a burger is very good.

Here’s what I expect from a fast food joint: fast, friendly, and flavorful food. This place fulfills those requirements. One thing I usually order here? The apple pie. It’s got a crisp shell with gooey apple goodness inside. Order the grilled chicken melt if you’re looking to save calories.

Whataburger is a great place to eat. Just not this location.

What A Burger!!! I have not complaints I love this place, I am from TX and this is the burger joint of the south!!! Great food cooked the way you want it with any toppings you think of. Make it your way and get it fresh. Breakfast is good and staff is southern friendly! I will continue to eat at this chain in TX for a good mouth watering burger when I visit back home!

This visit was my first ever to Whataburger.
What. A. Burger.
The fries were awesome. Never has any fry come close to McDonald’s. (The «standard» of what a french fry is supposed to be. Crispy, salty, not too starchy.) Again. Awesome fries.
The burger was delicious. I got a #1 with cheese and no onion. The meat was the perfect thickness, the bun was toasted, and the fixings were right on… except for the mustard. It tasted like half a bottle had been slathered on. But I won’t let it take away from my burger! Just a learning experience for next time: light mustard.
The sweet tea was alright… it wasn’t exceptional but it wasn’t crap. Didn’t need any extra sugar… but it just wasn’t dance-​in-​your-​mouth goodness. They were out in the dispenser, so one of the nice girls behind the counter took both of the cups that I had and filled them up for me on the drive-​thru side.
I thought it was cool that they brought your order to the table for you and had napkins & ketchup in a little orange divided tray thingy.
They have taken the number two spot for favorite burger joint, after In-​N-​Out. I hope I can go back before I return to Seattle.
Side note: Saw some guy that looked like Randy Jackson. Or his brother.
