Who keeps coming back to this Whataburger? People who’ve had too much to drink and just want some food, and are willing to settle for them getting within 50% of their order. So, we came back. Ordered a #2 with diet coke and a #7 with Dr. Pepper. Also onion rings and apple pie. Got to the window, and they tried to give us those two combos as well as something called«Bacon Cheeseburger», words which never passed my lips. We refused the extra burger. Got $ 7.50 in refund. Was that right? I don’t know. Not my job to do their accounting for them. That’s between them and corporate. Did a quick check of the bag before even leaving the window. Did we have at least 2 burgers, 2 fries and onion rings? Then we can leave. After making them open the gimp window again and giving us straws for our drinks. We got home and dug deeper: a #2 and a #7, with the correct ingredients(release the doves!). Some onion rings. And a third order of fries. No apple pie, though. And both of the drinks were wrong. But, to be fair, there were random things in the bag we could eat, and they were very similar to food. Sober or not, that’s really our threshold at this point. We don’t require people to a) have a clue or b) give a damn. That costs extra. Or we could go a block over and get crappier burgers and significantly more competent service from McDonald’s. Next time, probably. Again, our standards are low, but hopefully, in the future, not as low as this Whataburger location. If we’re smart, we’ll leave it for people who just got released from death row and want better service/food than they got in prison. They’ll probably be a little more satisfied than us. If not, maybe they can always break back into prison. Their choice.

It’s always nice to pay the 79cent up charge for whatasizing your meal and getting a barely half filled large container of fry. Nice waste of money. It’s also a gamble if you’ll actually get your correct order after your 15min average wait… The night crew is abysmal in every way. Don’t try to complain to a manager because they literally could not care less.

I usually never have a negative thing to say however, the service is lacking at this location. When you have to wait 20+minutes for your food and then told you have to wait for fresh strips!!! Seriously? Customer service is missing.
