They always forget something everytime i go. It’s the closest and always busy at the drive through. Always someone begging for money. Not change, but money. This place sucks balls!

So… I’ve been thinking for a while about how I could review this specific McDonald’s. Let me get the restaurant review out of the way first… Overall, this is a ordinary McDonald’s. The service is friendly and speedy. The food is prepared well(from my past experiences) and I’ve usually left satisfied. Now to the major reason why you’ll want to eat at this location or not… It’s not that the restaurant itself is bad or anything, but it has more to do about the neighborhood that it resides within and it’s proximity to a major bus transfer station. Look, I’d feel comfortable walking down the street here, and many locals would say that they feel safe living in the area(and I would agree with them, this isn’t gangland L.A. or anything like that). But recently, one local news station covered that Lancaster Blvd. was listed as one of the worst neighborhoods in the country(#15 to be exact) according to sites like so I figured this is as good a time as any to walk through this(even if I think that estimate is a severely overblown). Here is the rundown… This McDonald’s is located on a street(Lancaster) that is the hub(or close to it) for homeless people within the Fort Worth area. Fortunately, the restaurant itself is far from the major homeless area(near Riverside Dr.), but since a major bus transfer station is across the street it’s likely that some of these people will travel this way(or hang out near by). I’d say that the worst thing you will see because of this is either someone coming up to you asking for money, or someone acting peculiar. As far as personal safety(or your children’s) in this area, I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll be fine 98% of the time during the day(I’ve seen kids running around inside and outside this location with no problems). But, it’s up to you to decide if and when you’d want to eat at this location(Beach St. would be you’re closest alternative location).
