Greasy burger goodness that drips down your chin with every bite. This is my go to spot for a real good fast good burger. It’s not classy, but it’s cheap and delicious.

Great burgers at a decent price. The onion rings are also quite good. The fries are hit or miss(sometimes too greasy-soggy for my taste). The chicken on a stick(.99) is excellent and kids like the corn dogs(1.19) and these items are more affordable than the kids meals. Most of the other items are quite good as well. Skip on the BLT, though.

This burger joint has now become a standby whenever I am in the neighborhood and want a simple, yet refined cheeseburger. For the price, Griff’s features a meal that stands up to any other fast food burger chain that comes to mind. Griff’s is nothing aesthetically, but the old timey feel of this place really brings out the reminiscent nostalgia of decades ago. Griff’s is not flashy, or new. Griff’s is a standing testament of time that it’s product is proven year after year as a crowd pleaser. Don’t look for a healthy burger here, Griff’s excels at the basic, greasy burger… but it knocks it out of the park. As a native Texan, I feel that Griff’s burgers can stand up to all other fast food burger chains, including Whataburger. Finally, what seals the deal for me is the simple things for Griff’s… –the classic french fry that is what you expect a french fry to be. golden fried and with the just right amount of salt. — the ice! The shaved bits of ice is really a game changer for adding towards Dr. Pepper and is very similar to the world-famous Sonic Ice.

Sometimes you just want a greasy burger. And when you do, this is the place to be. This isn’t like the upscale fast-casual burger shops popping up across the country. This is a small chain from up north that has been around for decades. Of course the décor and outside signage appear to be decades old as well… Simple burgers, simple cheeseburgers and a few other items that you’d expect at a fast food place. For me, when I really want a greasy burger, and I’m in the Fort Worth area, this is as good a place to go. Which for me, that hunkering only comes once a year… but do go. You gotta try it at least once.

I haven’t eaten at Griff’s in ages. When I was a little boy(4 – 6 years old) my family would eat at this location. The outside signage is different and covered parking is gone. But the food was the best. I took my oldest son through this old neighborhood and ate their on Saturday. The décor appears to be original from 40 years ago. Well maybe not that long. They have a larger dining area from what I remember. The dining area quickly filled up while we were having an early lunch. Apparently, today was the first day that Griff’s starting selling Hot Links. My hot link was the bomb. I had BBQ sauce with mine and the Texas Toast Bun(a grilled square shape bun). Tasted sooo good. My son had a huge cheeseburgers with jalapenos — he loved it. Sweet tea — they got it and it’s good too. The bonuses were the great music and the staff. The cashier asked if we needed refills and a manager type came to our table and was checking on us too. They made us feel like family in this little fast food place. The only thing that was missing was a great big hugs. My only complaint is that we don’t have a good burger joint like this in Mansfield, TX. — chains, chains, chains… I gotta get to Griff’s more often. Forget that In-and-Out mess.

This place has been around for a while and the burgers are still as greasy and good as ever. I love the orginal old fashion taste of the milkshakes.

The best cheeseburger. This location does it spot on. Number One w/mustard and Coke.
