Friendly customer service. Average frozen custard. Kinda ridiculous prices. I’m not sure how, but two regular cups of frozen custard came to $ 9.20. That seemed kind of high to me, especially when considering there was nothing special about said custard. Afterward, I remembered that I had paid for my cousin who was having a «I need to deal with my feelings by eating a lot of frozen custard» kind of evening, so I think a lot of toppings may have been included in the second custard… Actually even then, it shouldn’t have been that high, because the«Favorites» are like $ 4 something, so it should have been around $ 7 – 8 max. The late hours are nice. For when you need to deal with your feelings by shoveling a cup of frozen custard down your gullet. Either way… I don’t know if there’s a Freddy’s Frozen Custard nearby, but in my humble opinion, Freddy’s tastes better(and is obviously cheaper) than Woolley’s. I will most likely be going elsewhere for future dessert fixes.

Dang man. Can the workers be anymore friendly? There were two high schoolers working there, both looked like they hated working there. They seemed like they were in a hurry or something and it was 8:30, they don’t close till 10. One kept rolling her eyes when we were trying to decide on an order(we didn’t even take 30 seconds), I couldn’t even keep count of how many times she did that. The other one weren’t as bad, just get the vibe that she doesn’t want to be there. We weren’t the only ones that got those looks from them, other customers that came in after us did too. Other than that, the ice cream was ok, somewhat lacking in flavor for me. The toppings are what makes the difference, so that isn’t saying much.

Came in here today with the kiddos, good experience overall. This is not traditional frozen yogurt where you pour it out of the wall and into your bucket. Think Baskin Robbins but with Custard instead of Cream. Service was good, Yogurt was good, Clean place. I highly recommend the«Concrete»!

Wooley’s is great! We’ve been getting it almost 1x a week the last month or two since Bluebell is still out of commission. I love the concrete mixer with birthday cake.

It was our first time having custard. It’s delicious! It has the consistency of a soft, shake-like blizzard. We had a Mona’s concrete(vanilla, strawberries, and cheesecake) and a Mean Green concrete(vanilla, mint, and Oreo cookie bits). They were great! Very creamy, great ingredients and friendly service. Several people came in for just a vanilla custard. I think I will try that next time to see what it’s all about. Great place, a must try if in the area.

Hooray for delicious, well made frozen custard! Wooley’s is a relief to find and a joy to eat, and now it’s basically a ritual to come in every Friday for the new flavor of the week, if not more often… I promise I don’t have a problem. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves frozen treats, but fair warning it’s so good that it might have you coming back time and time again too.

Smooth rich creamy and overall bombtastic. Love the creamy texture and local business atmosphere. Woolleys brings out my inner fat kid that screams for attention and this place shuts him up real good.

My husband eats here nearly every day and I come by about once a week. I’m a sucker for their turtle sundae and he always(ALWAYS) gets a small chocolate. I normally try their flavor of the week and they’re usually pretty good. The staff is young, pleasant and competent. The prices are very reasonable and there are plenty of choices for mix ins/toppings. The only complaint that I do have is that they only offer 3 flavors: vanilla, chocolate and the flavor of the week. Otherwise, it’s always delicious and perfect in the hotter months. Honestly, I’m not sure that I’ll even try out the new Freddy’s in the area as we prefer to support small businesses.

Hubby ordered an ice cream pie for my bday on 3⁄17. It tasted freezer burned in certain sections. I cut a piece off today for twins and I noticed a hair in the Oreo mix(not sitting on top). I called to speak to a supervisor and the lady(Lynette) said I should have brought it back and it could of been a hair from me. She was rude and I was offended. I continued to talk and she hung up on me. I use to adore this place but after this incident, I don’t know if I will go back. I actually wasn’t going to complain about the freezer burn… but the hair took me there!

The best frozen custard, perhaps the best frozen anything in all of DFW! I stop here every time I am back in the area and it is always worth the trip.

My ice cream was slightly melted right when I got it, and it didn’t taste that great. Heavily relies on the use of toppings, so if you’re a flavor person, go elsewhere.

Okay… Nothing fancy. Decent pricing. Not expensive like marble slab. But not as good as marble slab either. They only had 3 base flavors. Vanilla, chocolate, and their flavor of the week. Basically it’s all about the toppings. And as soon as we got the custard, it was already melty and we never left the store. The workers were nice though.

I’ve been to Woolley’s a few times now, and it’s a solid custard place(no pun intended). I love that it’s not a big chain, I think they just have 2 locations. I like supporting local businesses and I’ll keep coming here for the tasty frozen desserts! They always have vanilla and chocolate custard, and rotate one flavor of the week. This week, for instance, is cheesecake. Then you can blend in any topping or flavor into the custard base(a la cold stone) for more adventurous treats. They also have some favorites listed on the wall that are flavor suggestions based on the original 10 employees’ favorite concoctions. At least this is what a worker told me. :) I’m partial to Natalie’s favorite(vanilla custard with caramel sauce and cookie dough) because the name had such a nice ring to it ;) The custard is always cold, fresh, and delicious. It’s thick without being unmanageable. There are usually high school kids working there but the service is always friendly and quick. They also have these company tshirts on the wall that you can buy. And they have about 100 photos on a special collage of people all over the world wearing their Woolley’s shirts. Pretty legit.

Woolley’s Frozen Custard is doing it all right. This is their only location now that the Hurst store closed back in 2011. I heard they may just be relocating it, so keep your fingers crossed. Trust me when I say, the frozen custard at Woolley’s is some of the best around and lest not forget it’s made fresh in their store! The have over 40 flavors to choose from on a daily basis, plus over a dozen concoctions named after regulars/friends/employees to help you expand your flavor horizons. *I always order the«concrete»(which is custard mixed with chunks of your choice of candy bar) called«Katelyn’s Favorite». It has consists of vanilla frozen custard, pieces of Butterfinger and caramel. It’s scrumptious. Oh and the large concretes come in a 12oz souvenir cup, all for less than $ 5. Side note: This is a locally owned(UNT alumni) and operated business, which I tend to support out of principle.

There’s not that many frozen custard places around dfw… and I feel so lucky to work near Whoolleys!!! Now I can have frozen custard for lunch everyday!!! I got a vanilla regular scoop frozen custard on a waffle cone and it was WOOOOOOOWHOOOLLEY!!! hahaha. Next time I’m going to try some strawberry and peanut toppings

We used to live walking distance to this place. Often we would stop, while driving by, to have a frozen custard. I would stop in just to check out the FOTW(Flavor Of The Week). I never left empty handed. Then my pants started getting tight. We made a new rule: Frozen Custard only if we walk to get it. So now we had frozen custard and exercise. Yippee! A few months ago we moved. Woolley’s is no longer even close to walking distance(insert sad face). The closer frozen custard place(on 377) is now closed. Well there is also Woolley’s on 26( ). My wife and I have always enjoyed Woolley’s and we especially like the guys that started the place. Even though I don’t drive on Beach Street as much, I still tend to stop in(hoping the FOTW is German Chocolate). Oh, the FOTW is also on the website:
