Petco

The reason for my visit today was to pick up some dog treats for my 4 ½ month old Siberian Husky to continue our training. The sales associate asked me as soon as I walked in the door if there was anything she could help me find; I did not want to search the entire store for the treats I was looking for so I asked and she pointed me in the right direction. Not only did she point me there but she also grabbed another brand of the same type of treat I wanted from another island the store and brought it to me.
I appreciate the willingness to help a customer out and give them options. She could’ve easily pointed to the isle that they were and what about her business, but instead she went above and beyond.
The only reason I can’t give this a four star is because I find that the prices at PetCo are pretty expensive compared to other pet stores. Not just the smaller local pet shops but even big stores like Petsmart seem to have a little better pricing.
Overall had a great experience and if I’m in a bind for treats or any other pet supplies I would consider going back to PetCo

This pet store is not a discount place. It is marketed more toward specialty items that you may have trouble finding elsewhere. Indeed, that is why I visit them. The staff has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. Something I have not seen elsewhere is cat littler in bulk. I didn’t study the pricing, but the reusable container gets a green vote. Join their loyalty club for discounts and coupons for products that you will actually buy.
