Good Points Acupuncture by Carolyn Yeh

Carolyn is very knowledgeable about the workings of the body and has a great bedside manner. Most importantly, she provided me with real relief for some chronic back pain when no one else has been able to. This was my first acupuncture experience, and it was a very positive one. Worth noting that the acupuncture was accompanied by a significant deep tissue massage targeting the areas of my pain and discomfort. Carolyn is knowledgable, caring, and systematic in her practice. I had a significant amount of scar tissue built up in my shoulder from an old rotator cuff injury (from swimming) and basically had been suffering through the pain so I could continue to swim; using Advil and ice. My orthopedist suggested acupuncture and body work to break up the scar tissue. Given the guys I trust at Park Road Fitness trusted her enough to allow her to be affiliated with their business I decided to try her out.
I’ve had very positive results from her body work and I am back in the water without the pain I used to have in my shoulder. For general well-​being I’ve done acupuncture and cupping with her and I’ve had good results. I trust and believe in Carolyn and her skills.

Auto immune diseases are not pretty and flare-​ups can be pretty nasty. Once I feel a flare-​up coming I would usually hunker down and wait, but that rarely prevented a flare-​up.
This last time I decided to go in for acupuncture right as I felt it coming and I was amazed at the difference it made. Carolyn understands the body function and physiology very well and she knows exactly what she is doing.
I also got my ACL replaced last year (yeah. I am pretty broken!) and Carolyn does a great job in helping me manage pain and aiding my recovery!
I have been to a few acupuncturists over the last year and sadly not everyone knows what they are doing, or worse yet, they dont care. Carolyn though… Highly reccomended!

Two years ago I did not believe in the powers of acupuncture, until Carolyn showed me the light. Carolyn was able to tell that I was menstruating just by reading my pulse! During a separate occurrence she was able to sense stress just from the aura that I was giving off. After treatments for stress and her recommendations on herbs I’m in a much better place. Her methods are natural and Carolyn has a calming tone with tons of knowledge that keeps me coming back. She has truly changed my life and my way of living.

I was having back pain for quite some time. I called Carolyn and she was able to fit me into her schedule the next day. I’ve never been to an acupuncturist before, ever. At first, I was a little nervous, just thinking about the needles and all. But Carolyn was very professional and made me feel at ease by listening to my problems and quickly diagnosed me. She started off by a therapeutic massage so I got relaxed right away. When it was time for the acupuncture part, it was painless. I don’t know how she did it, but I barely felt the needles going in. When she took the needles out, I didn’t feel a thing. She told me to get up because it was done, I was like «Aren’t you going to take the needles out?» She said it was already taken out. AMAZING! She has taken all the fear of acupuncture out of me :)
The best part of my acupuncture visit was the fact that Carolyn cured my back pain. I can honestly say that my back does not hurt anymore at all. Not only did she do a fantastic job, she also corrected my posture so I can prevent the pain from occurring. Carolyn is a great acupuncturist because she understands the medicine and she cares about her patients. Highly recommended!
