Gorrin Surgical

EXTREMELY unhappy with Dr. Gorrin and the results from my last procedure.
I’ve been to Dr. Gorrin TWICE for 2 procedures. I’ve invested over $ 13K with the hopes that I’d have hair all over my head. I’m extremely familiar with hair transplants. I know what reasonable expectations are/aren’t. My first procedure was a success. However, my last one was not.
I’m so sad about the results/​lack there of. I reached out to Dr. Gorrin and his team to share how sad I am about it. I received one e-​mail from the Dr. explaining how many grafts he transplanted (information I already knew). After replying to him and sending him pictures (which really upset me to see), I never heard back from him or his team. I really liked and trusted Dr. Gorrin before all of this. However, after how he has ignored me and my e-​mails, I’m feeling angry and duped.
I’m not sure what to say. Yes, Dr Gorrin is a nice man– and it costs a lot less to go to him than it does to Bosley. But, the results from my last procedure are not even ¹⁄₁₀ close to what I was expecting (based on the results form my first procedure) AND now the Dr. is completely ignoring me/​doing nothing to try to make it better.
I CAN NOT RECOMMEND DR. GORRIN.

After consultation with Dr. Gorrin, I decided to get the procedure done. He was very easy going and talked to you like a friend rather than a typical doctor who just goes through the motions. Surgery went very, very smooth besides the expected very minor pain with shots and such. The procedure was done in February and so far (July) it looks really good. I’m very glad I had it done. During surgery, I watched a couple movies while the procedure was being done. They even buy you lunch (sandwich from a deli down the street from their location).
Some issues I did have. The secretary called the wrong Walgreens for the prescription pick up. I had to wait 45 minutes for a new prescription to be filled. After arriving to the office and explaining this to her it was just brushed it off. No apology given. I was not too happy about that.
Post surgery, one of the nurses was going through the list of things I needed to do while I recovered at home. I tried to ask a question, but was cut off by the nurse. She acted very annoyed that I asked. She needs to understand, without customers like me, you don’t have a job, so don’t come off as being annoyed. Listen to the patients questions and concerns or is that asking too much?
A week or so after surgery, in a phone conversation I had with the secretary, I asked about washing out the scabs in my head. I told her I was worried about washing them off wrong and disturbing the new implants. She told me don’ worry, I could come in the office and they would do it for me. I thought that was great, but when I arrived back at the office, Dr. Gorrin said, «No, you can do it yourself.»
Another issue came up, but Dr. Gorrin took care of it, so I will leave it off the review.
Also, I told Dr. Gorrin after leaving the office the last time, I would leave a review for him on Unilocal.His response, «Ok, you do that.» Overall very happy with the results of the implants, I just wish I could say everything went smoothly, but it didn’t. I could leave 5 stars and say everything went perfect, but that would be a lie. I would recommend Gorrin Surgical for the procedure itself, since the results are really good so far, but like every person and business, there’s always room for improvement.

As of Sept. 18^th (7 months post procedure) I am extremely happy with the results. Money well spent! Worth every penny. World recommend 100%. Raised a star due to the results. Would be 5 stars if everything went smoother with staff.

After toying with the idea of having a hair restoration procedure for too long, I saw Dr. Gorrin’s ad in a local paper, made an appointment, agreed on what he could do, had it done 3 months ago (today).
While it will take another 6 months or so to see the final result, my newly implanted hair is coming in. Couldn’t be happier. Dr. Gorrin is truly an artist.

I went to Dr. Gorrin because I needed a scar revision on the back of my head. After having three transplant procedures, the scar was about 1 centimeter wide on the right side.
I underwent surgery to revise the scar and add some grafts to the front of my hair. Dr. Gorrin took his time and explained everything throughout the procedure. I watched a movie and talked with the staff for a few hours, and it was over in no time.
The results exceeded my expectations. It’s now been two months since the surgery, and the scar is barely noticeable! Everyone there is very friendly, and I’m really glad that I had the procedure done. Thanks, doc!
