Had our first Kona Ice experience at the Foster City Art & Wine festival. We love food trucks but had no idea there was such a thing as a shaved ice truck! I’m a huge fan of shaved ice and know the difference between a snow cone and real shaved ice. When I saw that it was actual shaved ice I had to try some and I was not disappointed.
The best thing about the truck is that you can put on your own syrup. As much as you want, as many different flavors as you like! $ 3 for a «regular» sized cup and I felt like I was ripping them off. I’m going to be watching for them at other events now.
Keep an eye out for a Kona Ice truck! You can thank me later.

Caught these guys at the Urban Table Farmers market. For a summer day it was a bit chilly and windy but I said F it and got one any ways. Blue Raspberry cone for $ 3 would have been killer if it was hotter but it was still tasty regardless with some BBQ from one of the other trucks
