Stopped by here the other night after eating dinner in the same plaza. Cute small place with ample parking but not much seating. I ordered a Grapefruit Green Tea with 50% sweetness and my cousin ordered the Passion Fruit Green Tea with 70% sweetness because they were out of the Lychee Green Tea AND the Mango Green Tea. How unfortunate. The Grapefruit Green Tea has the tart grapefruit flavor and not much bitterness but I would’ve like to taste more tea flavor. I also would’ve liked it to be less sweet considered I already got it 50% sweetness. The Passion Fruit Green Tea was a similar experience as well. It was like drinking a sweet fruit drink. I expected better because I’ve been to other Chatime locations but this experience just wasn’t so good.

Yummy roasted oolong tea! 70% sweetness No ice The downside is when you ask for no ice on a taro milk tea, they just give you less… enough to make it just a regular, so don’t purchase a large — or go to ShareTea for the same.

I would probably have to vote this place to be my top favorite boba places in the Bay Area. Though the shop is pretty small(not good for parties bigger than 4 people) and has very limited seating, it’s still a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends. They have board games here too! I’ve ordered the Roasted Milk Tea with 30% ice(the lowest amount instead of no ice) and its such a great combo! Plus they’re super generous with the boba. Literally filled up almost half of the large cup! And the boba is pretty soft and not too chewy where it becomes a hassle to eat. Right now, if you check in you can receive a free topping(IE: Boba). So come thruuu.

I like about two of the drinks on their menu. I usually love oolong tea wherever I go but it just tasted so bland and I think there was too much milk that I couldn’t even taste the tea. The boba was good though. My friend also didn’t have the mousse for her matcha mousse. They had failed to inform her that they ran out of mousse. I like cha time but it’s not my go to place anymore.

I have tried a few different drinks, but still haven’t found anything I like. Tea flavor is lacking. Don’t remember much about their toppings. Pricey, too. Staff are friendly, mostly. I have been there when a couple younger staff there being a bit rowdy(no one else was at the store). Made me feel a bit uncomfortable. So why do I still go there? My husband likes tea(because of their creamers), also it’s in the same plaza where I sometimes pick up take outs. Their rewards program is Five Stars.

3.5 stars. Been here twice and it was hit or miss. First visit was great! — Chatime roasted milk tea– reminds me of oolong, really liked this one especially at 50% sweet — Banana milk tea– interesting twist on traditional milk tea, but with a candy banana flavor. If you aren’t a fan of those candy, artificial flavors, you probably won’t like this. I thought it was pretty good though. — Grapefruit green tea– has the tart grapefruit flavor, but I would have liked more and a bit less sweet(I got 50%) Second time wasn’t bad, but just very heavy on the milk. — Tieguanyin milk tea latte– supposed to be a strong, black tea, but this drink was probably 75% milk, and I got very little tea. — Matcha green tea latte– also 75% milk, but matcha green tea was nice. They do use real milk though, so that’s pretty different from other milk tea places. On MOGL for cash back and also on FiveStars.

Pretty standard asian bubble tea place tucked in a corner spot of a strip mall… clean, friendly but place didn’t have popcorn chicken available on a Wednesday around 2pm… said no one cut the chicken that day… i thought they were prepared frozen items… hmmm. Mango smoothie okay but still sweet at 30%… In any case, place ok with ‘creative décor’…aka plastic pencil containers… hey it works!

My cousins and I were craving some milk tea and this place was the closest to us, so we decided to come here instead of going over to Quicklys. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted. The employees were just having their own conversation and doing their own thing, not even acknowledging our existence. After about 5 minutes of staring at the menu, we finally decided on drinks — Chatime roasted milk tea. It wasn’t sweet at all, which was good, but it was kind of bland. Neither the tea flavor or the milk stood out-it was just bland. Overall, I would try a different location to see if their roasted milk tea is this bland because I heard Chatime is a great milk tea place. Oh, and to see if other employees treat their customers the way they did.

Taro milk tea(normal sugar) was terrible. It literally tasted like someone just blended taro with water. It was very watered down and the ice made it worse. Ive never taken 4 stars off for taste. Alas(–4stars for taste). You can control the ice and sugar in the drink, but you cannot control the taro flavor that you are looking for. Overall, if you are looking for a sweet escape, keep note: ADDMORESUGAR or go somewhere else.

No line on a Sunday at 2:45pm! I got the oolong milk tea with pearl and 70% sugar. It was a little to sweet for me but when the ice melts, I think it’ll be perfect! I think I’ll get the 50% next time though. All the workers are nice and move at a fast pace, only downside is that there’s no AC. Definitely would come by for a quick stop!

I came here expecting the same quality of drinks served in the Oakland and Southern California locations but it fell short with the watery results. I maybe a little bias because I love the one in Oakland but you guys need to somehow collaborate. I ordered: 1. Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly. Its my favorite drink in all of the Chatime locations I’ve been in. The upside is that everyone speaks english in the location. The Oakland location has only one person who can. Maybe this is the reason? I don’t mean to be rude. Just try both locations and you will totally know what I mean.

What once was my go-to because of convenience, after two very disappointing trips — I had to drop to one star. On my second to last trip — all I craved for was brown rice green milk tea with grass jelly, a Chatime Classic. However, upon each sip, something was different. It was completely watered down and all the drink really had was water and creamer. I’ve never been so bummed out by a drink before — even with free upgrades(Mon /Tues), I just wasn’t impressed. Needless to say, promptly tossed the drink(*cries internally*). On my last visit, granted it was a Sunday afternoon — so sure, lines would definitely be longer than a weekday but 20 minutes later, I was just tired of sitting outside getting blown away by the wind waiting for my drinks and food. Somehow, my order was just sitting on the counter for a good 5 minutes just because no one was available to let me know it was ready. So friends, the lessons learned as of late: need extra patience for longer lines /slower service and a free upgrade is a tradeoff for mediocre drinks made. I still encourage people to check this place out.

Not bad. If you’re really craving some boba tea, this place isn’t a bad place to stop. I ordered a Japanese Sakura Sencha with 50% sweetness. I guess it’s my-bad to assume that 100% = super sweet for most of these drinks but mine didn’t really have a hint of it. At 50%… My bf had the Taiwan mango QQ @ 30% and it was pretty sweet! The tea itself tasted good but you know, my sweet tooth was achin’ for some sugar! Maybe I came at a bad time around 4−5pm but the place was also kinda messy despite not having any people in there. Kind of disappointing seeing that the décor was really modern and cool.

Not a bad place for bubble tea Well decorated interior, lots of options. The place is not bad, though kind of far from the highway 101 and hard to get to. The spicy fried chicken is REALLY spicy – be warned! The hot lemon tea was ok – a little too sweet for my taste, but is pretty consistent with the kind of sweetness you usually get from a bubbletea shop. The service is also pretty good. The food comes out quickly, and they also try to give everyone a «Chatime account» and give them points for free drinks later etc. Overall pretty friendly staff as well. Worth stopping by if you happen to be around that area

I want to thank the two young gentlemen who let me in this morning before they opened. They were very kind to make my cappuccino while I caught up with work. I’ve been to Chatime several times, and I have to say, looking at their décor today, I really like the hip vibe especially with their corner seatings inside. You have to come and see it! It is fantastic. They also have a nice outdoor area where you can sip your favorite boba and catch up with friends. I also noticed how clean Chattime is compared to other boba places I’ve visited which is actually quite nice. I was able to complete my task for work with modern comfy style. And if you ask me, my favorite drink here is their Milk Tea Grass Jelly. It is refreshing especially on a hot day. Thanks so much Chatime for your superior customer service and for your awesome beverages. Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

I’m not exactly sure what a kumquat** is, but make it into a tea and add some jelly giblets and I’m all about it. The girls who work here couldn’t be more helpful. Ready to answer your questions, offer suggestions, and really on their game, which was mucho appreciated by me because I had no idea how the sweetness level thing work. I mean, I could draw some pretty close conclusions but I didn’t want anything super sweet and I didn’t know if I went with the lowest sweetness if I’d end up with something super bitter like those b*tches as Starbucks sometimes try to poison me with. Chatime is perfect for someone like me who’s eating habits are more in tune to a South Pacific timezone than PST. My breakfast usually happens after 7pm here and then I just kind of continue to shovel until the wee morning hours. Chatime isn’t open all night, but on weekdays their open until 11pm… in the suburbs(which is a pretty big deal for anyone like me who only has late night cravings). As mentioned, the girls working here did such a stellar job that they sold me on three drinks for myself and I love them all. I got the roasted milk tea with grass jelly… actually, the grass jelly reminded me a little too much of the scene with the leeches in ‘Stand By Me’, so I might opt for a different less parasitic looking jelly next time. Another unexpected showstopper was the banana milk tea with boba. It’s not that gross artificial banana flavor that you might get other places. This was creamy and smooth and perfect with the 30% sugar option. ** Please note that I actually do know what a kumquat is as I can google things just as well as the next guy, but it’s a lot cheekier if we all just pretend that I don’t and can’t. Thanks for going along with it, friend-o!

On the way to the car we walked by this cute business. Impossible not to stop. It’s a small kiosk like milk tea place located across from the Fox theater. They have an extensive amount of different flavored tea. Choose your toppings. Even your ice cube amount. Of course you can pick your sweetness level as well. All these could be overwhelming. But we persevered and ended up with a regular size Taro Pudding milk tea and grass jelly. Excellent. $ 4.50. They take cards. This is not a sit down place, Although there are chairs outside. You come up to a window. Order based on their extensive menu. Pay. You will be given a receipt with your number on it. Wait. You will be called to the«pick up» window. Done. I like !

Yay! One of the better boba bubble tea places in the Bay Area. I like this place and ComeBuy the best so far. Had the Jasmine green milk tea which was nice and creamy with the right amount of sweetness. The egg pudding was quite good as well. The texture and flavors were good.
