Jamba Juice

Dirty ! Oh Gosh, look at the ceiling and above air vents — black mold and clogged with dust,
falling directly on to the drink work station. I notified their Corporate office in Emeryville.
They offered me a free drink coupon, but I declined.

It was on a Sunday around 3p.m. We get there and there are only three employees working. The line was chaotic considering there were only 5 customers ahead of us, but at least 10 people sitting over by the waiting area.
When we get to order one of the managers asked us to wait so she could help get the drinks going. We understood and simply waited until they were ready. 10 minutes later she goes back to the register and you can tell she is frustrated at how many people are there cause she kept forgetting our orders. Once we paid we began to wait and we knew it was going to be a while for our drinks.
*** we waited for 25 minutes just to get three drinks. One girl had no clue what was going on and the other one was trying her best to get out as many drinks as she could. The manager helping us was horrible. Trying to multi task but is not efficient at doing so***
The most frustrating part is two people behind us got their drinks before us and one of their orders was completely wrong. When I went to ask about our drinks the girl asked what our order was and if I had paid. I have never been asked that at Jamba juice considering there are two different lines.
This jamba juice location really needs to step up in organization, multi– tasking, and making sure the RIGHT orders are out first. There are plenty of other jamba juices that have had just as many employees working there and can still make delicious drinks in a timely matter.

Super slow. I was the only customer there and with five girls working it took way to long to get my drink. Everything else was more important than just pouring my already blended drink. They left it for so long they had to add more ice and blend it again and then still left it while I stood there waiting.

I cannot believe that I placed a large phone order for pick up and even talked to their manager yet the order was not completed. What kind of manger doesn’t even remember the order I placed over a week early and doesn’t even write it down for her staff? I even asked if I needed to pay or do anything else and she assured me that I did not need to.

They don’t know how to use apple pay! No restroom for paying customers??? The person working the front counter doesn’t know what she is doing! I won’t come back to this Jamba Juice!

I come to this location frequently as my work is very close. I usually come in the morning. The management here is always on point and the staff is fairly new. I always am greeted with a smile and my smoothies are always on point. The only downer is sometimes their never filled to the top. Shoutout to Sara she’s def a great employee!

*Service: Decent. The lady who took my order was quite nice but watching how the other lady made the drinks, I can see that she did not like her job. When she made one of the drinks, she actually spilled a good amount and had to change cups. It was not filled all the way…
*Drinks: I ordered the Strawberry Wild (small). I liked it!!! I like drinks that are not as sour so this one is perfect. Strawberries + Bananas + Apple. Perfect Flavoring. I would get it again.

They let me in right at 7PM when they’re closed. That’s all there is to say. Not many corporate employees would do that. Thanks guys!

SUPER SLOW. I have no idea why this place takes forever to make drinks. It might be that they are short staffed and are busy, but devote extra time for waiting if you choose to come to this Jamba Juice.
Drinks are delicious as usual, but the wait time really got to me. Not bad if you work by Redwood Shores and want to grab a quick drink.

Best jamba juice in the area. I ordered the mango apple strawberry juice. Great to start the day. The store installed outdoor seating now.

I saw a lot of negative comments here, and my girlfriend complained about the service at this Jamba Juice in Redwood Shores, but I found it difficult to believe it could be that bad. Of course I was wrong. I don’t think the employees are trying to provide poor service, but somewhere along the way they lost sight of the customers.
I tried to make a purchase today and waited in line for 1 – 2 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was standing there (I was the only one in line). One employee emerged from the back room and was asked by someone else (the manager?) to take my order. The employee responded that she wasn’t on register duty. The manager said «You’re on reg.» The employee started to log into the register, but before doing so she said to the manager «I’m on a break.» They continued to argue over who should be taking my order. What do I care? Five employees behind the counter and nobody ever asked what I wanted to order, so I walked out. Settle your problems elsewhere, definitely not in front of customers.
I would give a 1-​star rating except that the product quality is good, so I give 2 stars. I actually found myself wondering if the folks at Jamba Juice ever read Unilocal reviews.
Today I ended up going to a different Jamba Juice after I left Redwood Shores, but in the future I might try Skinny Sippin’ in San Carlos, which is reputed to be very good (and the staff is civil).

The drinks made here are okay, but the atmosphere amongst the employees is nerve-​wracking to say the least. I come here often because it’s on my route, but I’ve witnessed some of the employee treating others with absolutely no respect — and these are the leaders and shift-​managers. One time I witnessed a leader yelling at a colleague and throwing a drink at the wall. A more recent incident that took place was an employee getting upset at an employee in training.
I understand it’s a fast-​pace job, but clearly they need to re-​evaluate who can handle the job (and a few need some anger management classes). The behavior I’ve witnessed is inappropriate and should not be tolerated whatsoever. I’m surprised corporate hasn’t stepped in since I complained to them about how uncomfortable it makes my friends and I witness this behavior.

The drinks are good but overall I wouldn’t want to come back to this place.
Service is SUPER SLOW. The first time I came here was with a friend and his drink took 15 minutes and it wasn’t even packed! I thought it was a fluke but it wasn’t. I came back to get a drink for myself and waited just as long. I could see my drink just sitting there waiting to be blended for the longest time because no one paid attention to it. The workers seemed a bit confused as to what to do because of all the orders coming in, but that’s no excuse. So if you’re in a rush, don’t come here! It will not be a quick stop.

I hate when they don’t fill my cup to the top. And it happens quite often at this location. Considering a large smoothie cost over $ 6 I feel like I am missing like a dollars worth. They’ve already shrank the cup, inverted the cover and raised prices, yet still cutting corners.

Drinks takes so long to make at this location. It doesn’t bother me since I’m never in a rush. At least my drink comes out super yummy compare to other locations.
Staff is always friendly and welcoming!

THe fresh squeezed juices are off the hook here.
ONe time I was here and this woman had a heartattack, She was in line. Its too bad she didn’t get a chance to try her order she wanted because it might have saved her.

Not my favorite location. The inside was dirty and the trash can was overflowing with garbage.
I ordered and paid for my son’s Jamba Juice using the PayPal app. It was quick and convenient! Unfortunately, with the app, you can’t enter in your Jamba Insider Rewards number. It took them a few minutes to reprint my receipt

Just had a less than stellar experience here. I ordered a small Whole Food Nutrition smoothie ($ 6). The girl brought me a small cup with an inch missing off the top. I said, «The cup isn’t full.» So she goes to get someone to help her (she must be new) and an older woman comes from the back. The woman pours the cup contents back into the blender and adds something before blending it again. She pours it into the cup and notes that the cup still isn’t full. She pours the contents into the blender again and adds something else to the blender. Then she pours it into the cup again and hands it to me. I notice that the cup still isn’t full (sorry, but half an inch missing off the top of a SMALL $ 6 smoothie makes a difference) but I give up and don’t bother saying anything. Instead I smile, thank her, leave, and write this review. What a waste of I time! And now my smoothie is all melted from all the blending.
On a positive note, this Jamba Juice location has way more seating, both indoors and outdoors, than other locations. It is fairly large (for a Jamba Juice store) and is in a nice corner location within the shopping center, at the end across from Bank of America.
I will only return when I am not in a rush.

This location must be where they send everyone for their first day because it’s never taken me less than 15 – 20 minutes to get my order — even though it’s usually just 1 Chunky Strawberry Topper! I also so someone pay for an original size (24 oz) and receive a 16 oz instead. The girl working there was adamant about it being the right size, so the poor guy just left.
I’ve gotten Blueberry Blackberry oatmeal here a couple of times and it always comes out with BROWN colored topping — like the fruit has been sitting in the warmer and rotting all week.
DO NOT GO HERE.

Putting it out there first and foremost, I enjoy Jamba Juice and intend to return. HOWEVER this location will never see me again. I was completely shocked at what I saw today, and felt that people should know about it.
Danielle (a female employee) walked right into the store, through the kitchen area and into the back completely BAREFOOT! It was disgusting! I cannot imagine how the health department would react to this.
She proceeded to act as if nothing was wrong. What was worse, is that no manager or other co workers even felt the need to acknowledge her behavior. There is no way that Jamba Juice corporate would think this was acceptable.
