McDonald’s

Not the best Mcdonalds I’ve been to. Honestly. If you’re writing about mcdonalds, you gotta compare right?
I saw like 20 flies together flying around near the ketchup pump — gross.
And it took them like 20−25mins to get a order of chicken nuggets and fries… — like c’mon…
I mean, its fast food, so I’d go back, but. 20minutes?!

Hair does not belong there!
Tonight I’ve had my first experience with hair in my food, YUCK!!! I’ve had it with this Mcdonalds! A few things I’d like to point out to the team members of Mcdonalds in Foster City, CA especially for the ladies working the evening shift. Tie that darn hair back into a bun and make sure those flyaway’s are tucked and combed back neatly. DISGUSTING! And how dare the employees laugh, speaking their language in humor talking shit about my complaint to the manager Alex. Note to the employees, be very careful when you speak freely in your language because we understand just as much as you all do. Very unprofessional!
Suggestions to the hiring managers, we would like to see a much more diverse selection of employees than just all Hispanics who degrade and talk shit in their language, especially the Foster City crew. If you want to speak negative about the customers, be professional and save your comments away from the customer atmosphere, NOT NEAR OR IN FRONT OF THEM! English must ONLY be the established language when employees are on-​duty.
Overall, besides my horrific «hair in burger» experience tonight and the lack of good customer service from these team members during past visits, OH! and another thing, this Mcdonalds NEVER gets your order right. Maybe once in a full moon? And I speak for all customers who’ve experienced this twice or all the time from this Mcdonalds! GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER FOSTER CITY CREW. I’m so done with this Mcdonalds, I do not recommend them.

I do not recommend going to this McDonald’s. Most of the staff is incompetent and rarely ever gets an order right. Whenever I go, I always get a number two; two cheeseburgers, fries, and a drink. I do plaining cheeseburgers because any «produce» from McDonald’s is probably spray painted plastic. Most times than not, they just give my plain burgers, even if I explain to them I still want cheese, hence the name CHEESEburger. I can go into explicit detail about what exactly I want and they still give me something completely wrong. The place is also very unsanitary. I once saw an employee drop a burger onto their filthy ground, pick it up, put it on wrapping, and give it to someone in the drive through. This is the only semi-​decent fast food place near me so I don’t have much of a choice. I do NOT recommend getting food here if you are actually expecting anything remote to what you paid for.

You can’t go wrong with a quick McDonald’s when you are in a rush. I had the 2 cheese burgers and a coffee. It was perfect for what you expect. The workers are quick and very responsive. It’s great to have this so close to home.

We go to this McDonalds at least twice a week.
I grew up in San Mateo/​Foster City and the service/​quality has declined since the 90’s.
Food is ok, nothing jumps out from your typical McDonald’s.
Service is below average and not that friendly. Although the graveyard shift from 12 am to 4 am are extremely cool and friendly.
I love chicken nuggets. I’m pretty sure it’s the manager or supervisor cracking down, but when I order 20 nuggets, they only give me 3 sauces! When I ask for another they had the nerve to charge me 25 cents lol. It has always been 4 sauces. This McDonald’s in particular get’s really busy and tends to forget to give sauces and ketchup. One time I asked for sauce because they forgot, they thought I was lying to them. Until I had to physically show them inside the bag lol.
The only thing that makes me come back to this McDonald’s is that it’s 5 minutes away from my house and 24 hours, other than that, I would never come back here

I grew up with this place and it’s what you’d expect from a McDonald’s. No complaints at all with them. I do have a bone to a certain reviewer here though.
To the reviewer who complained about the restrooms: of course it’s dirty! What are you thinking about going to a restroom at McDonald’s? Go across the street to Carl’s Jr instead.
And Apple Pay: what are you, a hipster? Get outta here. The true American way to pay is either greenbacks or your credit card.
I’m done. Mcds, you’re cool with me. Bring back the McRib while you’re at it!

Unlike other McD’s, this one was clean, bright, and the staff had a smile.
Can’t comment on the food, since they’re all the same.

Needs to hire people who can understand and take orders correctly. Also a welcome greeting would be nice and a thank you have a nice day. I went there twice and I was doing the greeting while I was givin a blank stare! Food was good. Visit time 7÷21÷15, 5:40am

Best fuck up order ever lol. ordered two cheese burger meal and got a big Mac and two things if fries. it even says on my receipt my correct order

Disappointed in my breakfast this
Morning. Went through drive through and ordered Hotcakes and Sausage and only got the Hotcakes.

Came here late night on a Tuesday during work and made the mistake of not checking the inside of my bag, since the worker repeated my order back to me correctly as she gave me my order. I get back to work and I was missing more than 2 products… Did not want to go back and lesson learned.

My boyfriend and i came here for 2 cheeseburgers and they gave them to us without the meat patty, im not a fan of mcdonalds to begin with but i will never be coming back to this location

Consistently get fresh French Fries at this location.
Big Mac, Daily Double, McChicken, Sausage McMuffin, Hash Browns are all standard.

5÷1÷15, I have been going to this McDonald’s for over 20 years and I have to say that quality and service has declined since then as does all McDonald’s.
What was my problem? They haven’t remodeled this McDonald’s, needs customer service training, and it needs technology updating!
1. Going into McDonald’s, it smells like trash. Unlike the McDonald’s in Redwood City and Palo Alto, this place is too outdated. The bathrooms really need to be remodeled badly. I would rather use the restroom at Taco Bell rather than McDonald’s because at Taco Bell, it’s much more cleaner there.
2. Customer Service has been lousy for over a decade and has not changed. Over time and time again they have snotty attitudes and always have gotten my order wrong. Which leads me to the 3^rd problem
3. They lack technology in this McDonald’s. The credit card swiper machines are 10 years out of date and do not take Apple Pay. You can only use it for a credit card for their card machines. They need to replace their cash registers and credit card swipe machines so that way they can take Apple Pay.
I hate coming back here, but my coworkers love this place and eat here for breakfast or dinner.

It’s close and next to the freeway onramp.
Otherwise, they constantly get orders wrong. Constantly. It really doesn’t matter, the food isn’t that great anyway, but why even bother having a place to order food if it’s wrong so often? Random food.
What you get here is so haphazardly made it’s sometimes hard to eat. Just a cardboard box of slop tossed together. Stuff half on properly, gloppy and over dressed.
Carl’s is across the street. They have not, as of yet, gotten an order of mine wrong. It’s slightly slower. The food seems more freshly made. It has better variety. You can get burgers at 6AM if you want.
It’s not like Carl’s is the best place in the world to eat, but at least they execute as well as can be expected for what it is.
I’ve pretty much stopped going to this place. There’s just no reason to recommend it at all.

Pretty decent for a McDonald’s! Lots of parking, clean inside, good amount of tables and seats. And: two drive-​through lanes. Pretty efficient and fast service when ordering on the go.
I’m a sucker for the $ 1.39 Spicy McChicken they have right now on promotion. My guilty pleasure.

4 stars for a Micky D’s, I must be crazy right. Well, the food is the same as you would expect. The place where they get bonus points is that they are open 24 hrs a day. They also have this huge drive-​thru with 2 lanes to order a la some really busy in-​and-​outs down in So Cal. I stopped by to pick up some breakfast and there were about 6 people in the line in front of me. I placed my order, drive up to pay, then drive up to pick up food. This is pretty efficient as sometimes when I go to a drive thru it take a couple minutes for paying and picking up food as you are waiting on the other people in front. At this place I was on the brakes only for ordering, paying and picking up.
Fast and effiecnt. If I want some Micky D’s and I’m in this hood, I’ll stop by again.

It’s pretty much your standard McDonald’s location. Albeit; with some rather unique shortcomings than what I’ve witnessed at other McDonald’s locations.
The influx of senior citizens; mainly Asians, hanging out and taking up dining space has gotten the employees to *purposely* spray cleaning agents on the table next to theirs and sending strong and irritating smell of the cleaning supplies throughout the immediate 4 – 5 table general area surrounding the table that the employees clearly *pretend to clean. This is not cool. NOT. Cool. Those senior citizens; regardless of what ethnicity, deserve to be treated with respect. They don’t bother anyone. So not sure why they are treated in a passive aggressive manner by the employees. I’ve witnessed this first hand. Not once, but twice, on different visits. Got the manager to apologize to the senior citizens the first time. And when it happened the second time, wrote to corporate McDonald’s.
The employees are mainly Hispanic. Which happens to be the sign of times nowadays in almost all the fast food establishments in the Bay Area. Not saying its a bad thing; just saying that employees need to be retrained appropriately. Especially the ones working at this particular location.
The service here is quick. Not many employees are hanging out in the back doing nothing. The managers act like they own the place. And honestly; it feels like the managers are behaving like they are the prison wardens. Meaning; what they say goes. Forget the standard McDonald’s SOP. If I; as a customer can feel this, imagine how the employees feel.
Usually I come here for a quick breakfast alone. Nothing like people watching in McDonald’s.

This is the best McDonald’s I’ve ever gone to in the US.
You know how in their commercials the Big Mac has nice fluffy buns and the lettuce is kept within the burger? Well, this location actually serves that. I ordinary don’t like Fish-​O-​Filet. But when I do, it is from this location. Fries are perfectly crisped to McD’s standards and never soggy. The McNuggets are perfectly cooked, not soft but not overly crunchy. And their teas… they actually brew them fresh daily and not recycle from the day before.
The service is also great. I used to work in Foster City and came here often. I used to go to the drive through after work, which was pretty late, and the teller used to greet me by my name. You almost never have to wait, after the paid window, to get your food. It is quite efficient.
The parking lot does get pretty full during lunch and weekends. I find myself parking over at Taco Bell and walk over a few times during Saturday mornings.
After eating so many times here, I just can’t go to any other McDonald’s anymore unless it is out of convenience. This is simply the best out of all bay area locations.
