Surprised to see so many negative reviews because I am a boba addict and I think Quickly is totally decent! It’s a little sweet(I usually get 25% sweet), but the bobas are fresh tasting and the tea has good flavor. The HK egg puff is on point. If you have room after stuffing yourself at Cooking Papa, it’s worth a stop.

I came here for the second time yesterday. The bubble tea & drink selection is abbundant as is the food selection. The almond eggette is fluffy & fresh with a lite almond flavor. The popcorn chicken, a popuular dish at these Hong Kong & Taiwan style cafes, is crispy with a moist interior & a lite sprinkling of salt. The Twix milk shake is nice & smooth & creamy with bits of twix; perfect for this warm wheather. It is cool how they had the Wariers game on in Mandarin the first time I was here & Cantonese programing this time arouhnd. It is definitely a blend of Chinese & Americanfare that I intend to try more of. The prices are low & service friendly, answering all your questions. The atmosphere is very n9ice with plenty of tables to sit & nosh. So, for some good Hong Kong style4 café fare at low prices with friendly service in a hip casual atmosphere, Quickly cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

My ice tea boba was better this time! Bobas were smoother and tastier. They had three people working and we got our orders quickly. I usually go to downtown San Mateo, but the price is higher than the Foster City location.

My wife purchased a coffee tapioca and ofcourse you chew on the tapioca inside the drink but my wife noticed something crunchy and it happened to be a fly. We are going to sue. That is truly disgusting.

Great that I don’t have to drive to downtown San Mateo to get my quickly fix. Not only is it bigger, there’s free parking, and I think they have more items to offer(like the mochi waffle? I don’t see that advertised in downtown SM) I do think that the drinks here aren’t so great. I usually get honey jasmine milk tea, but when I order it here in the foster city location, it just seems off… I also noticed that the mango & coconut delight, mango delight, and watermelon & aloe delight are $ 4.99 here… a dollar more than the SM location. Hey, maybe some people won’t care, but prices should be consistent at all Quickly locations.

Updated review at the bottom… Normally I love this location but when this man(see my picture that says«several terrible experiences with…) makes my drinks I feel like buying my quickly fix else where. Today I ordered a green tea honey milk tea. I wanted him to use the jasmine green with my milk tea. He snapped at me and told me he couldn’t do that. He said he could only use black tea. Mind you I was dumbing down my order because I’ve already experienced his incompetency. At this very same location one gentleman makes me a honey rose green tea flawlessly and that is a much more complicated order than this. I went back to get a refund and he proceeded to tell me I ordered it wrong and yell at me and my girlfriend and got extremely close to my face while he was yelling at me. I couldn’t even explain to him what a drink I wanted because he was tuning me out and yelling at me. He then said he couldn’t process my refund because I didn’t pay cash and was very rude about giving me a cash refund. Unless this guy receives some special training I’d avoid ordering anything too complicated with him to say the least. I haven’t had a bad experience with any of the other staff though. Thank you quickly foster city for mostly great service! Update 3÷01÷16: The owner replied very promptly and very kindly and reminded me why I return to this location so frequently. Every other male employee has made my drinks flawlessly and kindly. All the female employees have made my drinks excellently and with kindness. The green waffle I tried once was great. The condiment selection for the popcorn chicken is unmatched, I’ve never seen a quickly provide ranch for the chicken before. All in all this establishment has made me happy accept for the last encounters with man I took a picture of. I was extremely happy when quickly’s opened in my city and I hope to be doing business there in the future.

Props for finally having a decent boba location in Foster City. Even though it’s common around here, I still prefer Quicklys over ChaTime(both located in the Edgewater Plaza). However, I’m not too down to spend $ 3.50(average price for most boba drinks nowadays) for a regular sized milk tea boba. For a better boba experience, go down the road to T-Pumps(formerly in downtown San Mateo). The popcorn chicken is also overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend it as Ocha Tea(The Marina Plaza in San Mateo) does it better.

Probably one of the lesser quality Quickly that I’ve been to. Ordered a rose milk tea — it was sooooo sweet, like clawingly sweet. Waited for all the ice to melt but it still was not diluted enough. Only thing I liked about it was the egg pudding I had added to my order. Also ordered a green tea waffle — if i hadn’t seen the SLIGHTEST hint of green color, I would not have known that it was actually green tea flavored. Tasted like a normal waffle though it was unusually gummy… take that as you will. Service was pretty bad. My co-worker was in line immediately after me but the waitress ignored him for 10 minutes and a line started to form behind him. It was kinda rude. I understand if you are busy, but at least let the customers know why you cannot take their order or notify them how long it will be before you can take their order. Just saying, «be there in 5 minutes» goes a long way. Anyway, in the end, co-worker and I were both dissatisfied with our orders. Won’t be back.

They literally never pick up their phone. Not sure if the number on Unilocal is wrong but it will just keep ringing and ringing like they just don’t care. I wanted to order a group order to-go for 5 ppl but was unable to do that. Instead I had to go in and order in person, sit there for 30 minutes while they were making the food, and then they tell me they are out of this and that after I already placed the order. I think it’s safe to say the Bay Area has already discovered pearl milk tea isn’t the powder crap that Quickly serves but it’s still a nice fast food restaurant for some quick Taiwanese food and snacks… now about that«quick» part… get it together.

Relatively new location. It’s in a pretty big plaza and the way to find out where it is, is to find the grand opening sign they’ve had up for the past few months. It’s by the lake so you can definitely take advantage of the view after you pick up your drink/food. It’s very spacious unlike other Quickly’s I’ve been to. The huge downside though is that they’re understaffed over half the time I’ve been there. The last two times I’ve gone in, there was only one employee manning the cash register, making drinks and food and cleaning up.

I know quicklys r disgusting to begin with, but this place just sets the bar sooooo much lower. Service is absolutely horrible. The guy taking our order CLEARLY doesn’t want to be there, moving sluggishly to the register while we wait. After he takes our order, and the pop dogs r ready, he doesn’t even let us know our order is ready. Just mutters something, drops the order on the counter and walks away. THEN, the outside of the dogs r burnt brown as shit, yet the insides r still cold as ice. WTF? To top it off, the plastic bowl they put our order in was dirty and oily! Doesn’t look like they clean their bowls after ppl use them. It even had left over pepper and chili flakes from the last person who used it. Absolutely disgusting!!!

I’m sitting here at 9:30PM(pacific daylight time) eating my fried octopus bowl, intermittently squeezing liberal amounts of sriracha onto the fluffy rice below, sipping bubble milk tea(boba?), and I’m thinking to myself: everything’s gonna be alright, everything’s gonna be alright. Spent a little over 7bucks on this late night meal and I enjoyed it, not wowed and not upset about anything, sometimes you just gotta draw a line in the sand and say four stars has to mean something, can’t always round up the three and a half. I’ll be back for sure to try more fried stuff on rice.

They just opened and really was not sure about this place at all since mostly Asian people mostly buy from this place. When they first opened, I tried their green ice tea for 99cents and it was pretty good and just the right sweetness. And today, I tried the Strawberry/Kiwi smoothie and the clerk said that she would not make it too sweet for me, which is was good and it was perfect on this hot day today in Foster City. So I will try other drinks next time probably a slush or two!

You’d think a place of cold beverages would have good AC. I think it was hotter in the place than it was outside and it was nearing 100 °F. Yikes. Oolong tea with creama was decent and i think definitely a step above the regular milk teas. However they need to cool that oven of a space down!

More like a 3.5 for me, but this is probably the best Quickly I’ve been to so far. Not because it’s new, but … because… maybe it’s because it’s new. To be fair, all Quickly’s suck. The customer service is as unpleasant as every other Quickly I’ve been to, as if their company policy is to frown and make people feel punished for coming. However, this place seems to shoot out orders a bit faster despite the lack of employees. And you know what? Their popcorn chicken here is a lot better than the other sister locations. It’s consistently crispy with none of that chewy fat stuff that makes you feel awful. I can’t speak much about their boba drinks because frankly, I never cared for their powdery fake-ness but you can’t get mad at those dirt cheap prices. I’ve been to this place since the day it opened and watched it become dirtier and dirtier, which was ironically neat. Despite that, their décor is a lot nicer and the menus are seemingly more organized and wider in variety. Smells like waffles in here too! I kind of wish there were more stools to sit on, but you do have a whole waterfront to sit at outside.

**100% BOBAPRINCESSAPPROVED** It’s been awhile since I’ve given a 5 Stars Boba Review… I haven’t even LEFT this Quickly yet and I am just in a fanatic frenzy to give this boba shop some real BPLOVIN’!!! No contest– Best. Quickly. Ever!!! EVER!!! EVERRR!!! I am so wildly impressed by this particular café chain. They just had their Grand Opening on July 1st as well, wow! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ TL;DR? Awesome quality boba Quickly’s style, extensive drink/food menu– love the popcorn chicken. THEYTAKECREDITCARD and there’s FREEWIFI! They have their usual specials of $.99 and $ 1.49 drinks too. Check it out, what are you waiting for?! All A+s in every category: Drink Quality, Food Quality, Service, Location, Ambiance, and Prices!!! Or maybe I came on like the best day ever– Friday afternoon working in a nice Quickly café while the sun shines outside, absolute ecstasy. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Waiting to meet up with my friends for dinner, I saw a Quickly next to it and I «quickly» parked– of course I am going in, are you crazy? $ 1.49 milk tea woot woot. I whip out my laptop bag and proceeded to walk inside. This particular Quickly was very spacious and well-lit! There are 5 scattered tables and plenty of bench seating that extends to an L-shaped interior. Typical orange and blue color and patterns but I welcome the familiarity of the chain’s signature colors and polka dot symbol. I eye the menu and it is ever-so extensive! They literally have your regular milk teas, smoothies, slush/icy, snow, milk shake!, espresso premium teas, rose tea, flavored tea, yogurt drinks, CREMA, flirty milk ;), snacks and rice bowls. I think the employees here are like boba drink Jedis, ha. They also have their usual $.99 and $ 1.49 specials of regular milk teas, green teas, iced coffee, and coffee milk tea. Going back to my roots, I opted for the $ 1.49 Regular Milk Tea with pearls. Omg it was so refreshing and on point! Your typical quick ez fast n sleazy milk tea with chewy black balls… Additionally, I was craving popcorn chicken($ 4.99) like a 6 month pregnant women and ordered it with no remorse ;) The chicken came out quickly and piping hot fresh! It’s not the most healthy snack at 667 calories(they even list calories on the menu whaaa), but it’s supposed to be your fat yoga pants craze munchies. So TREATYOSELF! Lastly, the service here is PHENOMENAL! Huge shoutout and kudos to Lucas and Michael for being so sweet and friendly! They were working the store by themselves on a nice Friday afternoon with like… 20PEOPLEINSIDE! Madness! They also gave me a funny-looking dolphin soap dish and I was genuinely moved by this. Prior to receiving the esteemed dolphin, I briefly chatted with Lucas about how much this Quickly rocked my world! They take CREDITCARD via Square and there’s FREEWIFI! Moreover, they have all the different cup sizes and the heavenly mason jars as well. I adore this Quickly, please be mine~ I totally approve FC Quickly with 100% enthusiasm and love.

The boba was so disgusting it tasted like it has been sitting there for days. It was so soft and huge like it was soaked in water for ages. My green tea was so bitter and left a sour after taste. Best bet for boba would be to go to Chatime. At least I won’t get sick over there. If I could I would give 0⁄5 stars for this quickly. Very dissapointed in this quicklys since they are supposed to be well known.

Well, its Quicklys, can’t really expect much. Tea is well, Quicklys… I had the grand opening special, it was bland. They are trying something different with their menu, a more upscale selection to compete with Sharetea/Chatime/Gong Cha? But quality is still just bad. There is a weird taste to their chicken… Does not really taste like any salt and crispy chicken I ever had, there was no basil, and it tastes like a soggy version of KFC’s popcorn chicken, with MSG… It triggered a gag reflex about 10 minutes after so I threw it away. The curly fries doesn’t feel like its been cooked long enough, its somewhat soggy and doesn’t hold for more than a few minutes after you get it. The prices here seems more expensive. I don’t go to quicklys much but I don’t remember paying $ 4.99 for chicken before. Tapex’s chicken(my favorite) or even the Chatime next door beats it by a mile. This usually doesn’t bother me as much and they would of gotten a 3, but 10 – 15 minutes for some chicken/fries and a drink… Seriously? When I ask why its taking so long they answered«a few more minutes»…Twice…I understand if they were busy, but there was like 2 customers there. Anyway, won’t be back. Time to go try out Gong Cha downtown…

Can’t believe another boba spot has opened up in Foster City and this Quickly is so close to Chatime! I happened to stumble upon it as I was going to lunch at Waterfront Pizza. There was a sign that said their grand opening would be on July 1st, 2015 however it seemed they were already open for business. You can tell they are still getting settled in. They had a HUGE menu of food and drinks. I am very curious to try their«Moffle» which looks like a mochi waffle ice cream sandwich. I ordered a regular sized peach lychee green tea with large tapioca pearls. It was very tasty and had lots of pearls. I think they give you double what Tpumps gives you. The young woman who took my order needed to ask for assistance with the register as she was still in training. I’m a fan and will definitely be back for more!
