Cheap Beers in the Middle Nowhere
Oh Helen’s, it’s like someone heard about my favorite characteristics of a bar and this place appeared.
The bar is located on route 6 with nothing around. Most people drive by it because the bar looks like a condemned house. So when I found the place, needless to say I was excited.
To be honest the place is decent inside, not what you would think from the exterior. They serve cheap beers and strong drinks and always have some tunes not be juke box.
I have been a few times and the place wasn’t overly busy so I always feel like my friends and I can kind of take over the joint and have a great time.
If your stuck making that miserable drive thru CT, and hit the RI border, and want to grab a beer goto Helen’s. Nice people, good drinks, cheap prices.
