Loved it! Romantic atmosphere and great food with amazing service. We had brunch and ordered the signature burger(my partner thought it was one of the best burgers he’s had), the lobster roll(really good quality lobster with a great combination of flavours) and some bloody marys. I couldn’t pass up on their home made pastries for dessert, which were to divine. Overall a great experience, this restaurant ticks all the boxes!

My wife and I and good friends went to Sarandas for brunch. The food was excellent along with the service. I highly recommend this restaurant. The server was very knowledgeable and«sold» the restaurant to us. Check out the bridge.

Very impressed. My parents made Friday reservations for all of us after they had dined there on Wednesday. On the way to the restaurant they talked very highly of the food and the amazing waiter Bill that hosted them. Our experience lived up to their hype. The staff was attentive and accommodating without being over baring. The food was excellent and elegantly plated. This is our new go to in the Lehigh valley when we want to spoil ourselves or others. Looking forward to our next visit.

Have been here several times for dinner, brunch, and just for drinks. Tonight we had the chefs wine pairing and 5 course tasting menu and it was amazing. The muscles were perfect, my ribye was flavorful and perfect temp, the bisque was great. Andy, Bill, Dana and the rest of the staff wait on you hand and foot.

The short take: Over booked, understaffed, very noisy, good food if you’re lucky and they not out of what you order, and if they don’t under cook it. We went here with another couple for the first time on Saturday 11/14/2015, we had 7pm reservations and did not have to wait for a table. As chance would have it we ran into 2 other couples that we knew and were seated 3 minutes prior. The place was VERY noisy and exacerbated by the fact that the table next to us was a large and boisterous group. Our waiter was Bill and he was VERY good at describing the various menu items as well as history and future plans of the place. We were looking forward to starting with some french bread but none ever came. The escargot was ok but I don’t consider myself a good judge of escargot. We also tried the fois gras which was absolutely fantastic. At my table, two of us ordered the veal(aka«Fred Flinstone steak») and two of us ordered the Lamb Shank. The veal looked like a tomahawk steak and was very good cooked medium to perfection. The lamb shank was superb very tender and tasty. The waiter seemed to get lost after taking our food order. I had requested a second beer from one of the helpers when I was half way through my veal but this was forgotten. All four of us sat there for 20 minutes after our meal wondering where the waiter was and we eventually were able to flag someone down to get the waiter. The four of us wanted to share a couple of the deserts and Bill described to us the made in house pastries consisting 4 or 5 different tortes, crème brûlée, and raspberry cheesecake. When Bill came back to take our dessert order he sadly informed us that the only dessert that was now available was a macaroon plate with 3 macaroons! In the end it was a very disappointing and unsatisfying experience. The bill for the for of us with 3 apps and 1 drink each was around $ 220. Yeah the entrée’s were very good but on the whole is was a poor experience. It will be a long time before I go back. PS: I spoke with one of my friends that we happened to run into at another table that night. Their experience was similar to mine. Someone at his table ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu which turned out to be raw in the middle.

This place is top notch, and it’s all about the vibe. It is not a carefully curated act, trying to recreate a genre of times gone by. This is the real thing and always has been. The ambience is warm, inviting and oozes with charm. The service is top notch and the food is very good. It is authentic French food, with a menu that is pretty spot on with places we dined at in France. The wine list is good, with a nice range of price points on French wines. My one gripe is that the food was a bit saltier than it needed to be.

My husband and I came here while visiting the area. Probably the best meal we have had in a while. The food was absolutely delicious, the presentation was beautiful, everything was completely fresh and homemade. The actual restaurant is very nice and super clean, a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Service was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

We were excited to finally go here for brunch. This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite dinner spots in the LV and now it’s on top of our brunch list as well. We ordered crab bisque, eggs benedict and lobster roll, all delicious. Also very tasty were the Bloody Mary’s with shrimp cocktail. As great as the food is, the employees are also a plus to this restaurant. Everyone is very kind and attentive with a few laughs along the way. We were seated in the«romantic» corner of the restaurant, a secluded recess that I will go out of my way to reserve in the future. Over all, the food is great, classic while simultaneously inventive, the cocktails are tasty and well made, the staff is friendly and courteous. I look forward to many more meals here!

We came for a birthday and were extremely happy with everything. The atmosphere was great with the live music and open acoustics. The service was great, they were constantly working to make sure we had everything we needed no matter how much of a pain it seemed to be. Our server was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu was superb but was a delight because of his personality. He added to our light mood with quick jokes and played right along into our laughter. The food was great and portions were generous to say the least. The crab bisque and French onion soup were delightful. The Mussel Frites in a carrot/ginger cream sauce was so good we asked for more bread to soak up the sauce. The bone in rib eye was aged in house and was delicious. The chicken cordon blue was light with just the right amount of salty kick from the prosciutto. What took this dish to another level was the Parmesan and Dijon cream sauce. We could not get enough of the Shrimp & Crab Empinards which was splendid. The mushroom-truffle risotto that accompanied the shrimp and crab was great. We ended the night with a vanilla bean crème brûlée and beignets with caramel(which was outstanding) and chocolate sauce. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and we would suggest this gem to anyone and everyone.

2 Friends took me out for a birthday dinner last night. When the reservations were made this week, my friend was asked if there was any special occasion, which he replied that there was. We were greeted and seated promptly. Cocktails were ordered and served promptly. The bread was very good, crispy dinner rolls. The roasted squash soup was the best that I have ever had. Creamy, tasty, very nice portion that we all shared. And very very HOT. I could have eaten this as my entrée and been totally satisfied. The roasted beet salad was disappointing. I realize that presentation is important, but slicing beets very thin as if they are a deck of cards was odd. When you cut the beet, the bite was so small that you didn’t really taste the beets. The raw sliced onions were overpowering. Not sweet Vidalia’s for sure. Re: the entrees. My 2 friends got there dishes first. I’m a woman, and waited about 3 – 4 minutes more for my entrée. I insisted they start eating and not wait. Assuming the wait would bring me a very hot plate, I was really disappointed upon delivery. I got the shrimp and crab over risotto. The plate was already cooled down by the time it was served to me, so why the wait? The shrimp were good, but the ice cold dollops of crab on my dish were not what I expected. Our server said this was a fantastic dish, and i’m sure it may be if served promptly with the crab part of the dish, not an afterthought. One of my dining partners got the veal shank. I don’t eat veal, but he described it as chewy and quite fatty. The other diner got the duck. I don’t eat duck either, but he said it was also chewy, and nothing like the duck he recently had at EDGE. Overall the 3 quite expensive entrees were just meh… Lastly, after all questioning about a special event… nothing. not a pretty dessert. not a flower, not a nice coffee. So why ask if there is a special occasion, then not do anything about it. I would return for the soup…

Wonderfully decorated and inviting. This place is amazing with their attention to service. No detail is left unattended to. At times I felt like they were reading our minds! Bill our server was very attentive and wonderfully engaging. We came with friends for a relaxing Sunday brunch. I ordered the Benedict Florentine which was absolutely delicious. Due to my meal coming out a bit later than the rest of the table we were given 3 complimentary desserts to share. If you are looking for a truly pleasurable dining experience please give this place a try. I will surely be back!

Loved it! Mussels frites were so very good, the burger there is out of this world(no idea what he really puts on it but its a must try), and you can get a great drink. Nice little place to dress up for a drink and a meal, live music on Saturday when we went. Was our second time there and will definitely go back for more.

Love love love! Came here a few weeks ago for lunch and had the best salmon burger ever. Tonight I brought my husband and 2 of our friends and we all loved our meals! I had the beet salad and the filet. BESTFILETINTHELEHIGHVALLEY! I love filet and order it everywhere. This was hands down the best in the valley and it was cooked perfectly, med rare. My husband had the French onion soup and the strip steak, he loved it. Friends had the scallops and the salmon. I was jealous bc the scallops looked amazing. Next time! I wish I saved room for dessert! Hats off to the chef, everything was perfect! Service was great and I love the décor!

High expectations major disappointment, that’s how I would describe my visit to Sarandas. We were seated in the bar area which looks nice but our table was very wobbly. Every time someone walked past it was impossible not to bump either myself or my date or the table. We asked if we could sit in the dining room as we saw several empty tables but we’re told because we didn’t make a reservation we had to sit in the bar. there were empty tables in the dining room when we arrived and there were empty tables in the dining room when we left. We had an overly friendly and happy waiter made us wonder what he was on. for all the energy he exuded you have thought the service would be a little more attentive alas not. We ordered the surf and turf which was an unremarkable fillet atop mashed potatoes with two pieces of shrimp and a greyish I don’t know what to call it sauce? A few pieces of wilted asparagus accompanied this. salad was not included. Two drinks and two entrees $ 119. rather expensive for what we had. we left feeling this restaurant did not live up to its hype and was not of good value for the price paid. I don’t mind paying for exceptional food and service neither of which we received. Unremarkable is how I would describe our entrée.

I came here with my fiancé for his birthday last night. The atmosphere was great and the area by the bar where we ate was beautiful. We weren’t a big fan of the keyboard music and were disappointed that we couldn’t get the chef’s tasting menu but those were our only complaints. I had the foie gras which was very tasty with the fruits that accompanied it and he got the seared scallops which were cooked to perfection. I was a little jealous! For dinner I got the red snapper with mushrooms and he got the duck. I didn’t know the red snapper was going to be cooked rare, so that surprised me, but the mushroom sauce and crust on the fish were very good. The duck was cooked perfectly as well and wasn’t overtly fatty like duck can sometimes be. Admittedly, my favorite part was dessert. I got the fondant au chocolat and he got the crème brulée. Both were simply excellent and well done. We would definitely come here again.

Nice space. Overly attentive and awkward staff. A waiter literally took a water glass out of my hands to refill it. I ordered steak frites medium rare. It came cooked medium rare. The marinade they used was terrible, tasted like kool aid and pepper. The cut of steak was tough as well, was not the typical skirt steak of steak frites. It was served with a sauce on the side. I thought it was a French red wine steak sauce but NOPE it was barbecue and A1 mixed. I thought I was at a French place, not Ruby Tuesdays. We asked for some ketchup to go with our steak frites. The fries were okay. We got the ketchup and dipped a fry in it… was very surprised when the ketchup was sudsy and tasted like SOAP! I almost got sick on the spot. The waitstaff gave us free desert for the mix up. We ordered beignets which were decent. The best things we ate at this meal came out of a deep fryer… I would’ve had better luck at McDonalds. The desert was a nice touch, but my dining companion and I still paid $ 26 each for our kool aid steak frites with sudsy ketchup… they should’ve taken the entrée off of the bill. We also ordered the lobster appetizer and crab bisque. Both were overwhelmingly fishy. The bread they passed around was very stale. Will never return. Will go to maxims In Easton for French from now on.
