Service was amazing our waiter keep checking on us, making sure we had everything, it was a Saturday night and they were busy, but that didn’t affect the service at all. Restaurant was very clean

6 adults and 3 kids made this Sizzler our choice of celebrating a birthday. All I want to say is that it was a great choice as we enjoyed the very attentive service, new plates and drink refills and mints after. The choices were abundant and there was just a very slight wait on getting all the ordered steaks on the table. However, the salad bar was there to get us started. Chicken wings, a meatball pasta and a carnitas taco bar and the soup corner with several thick soup choices and a chili was enough to make your head spin. Make yourself a plateful of fresh and healthy greens that can be topped by a vast array of toppings including jicama, crabmeat, and a dozen other vegetables and scrumptious add-​ones to choose from. Careful the plate can only carry just so much… better to use the second clean plate to come back and try different combinations. No hassles about the food we selected. The chefs cooked the steaks as ordered. Trips to get freshly cut fruit paired with dollops of the soft serve ice cream completed a good family dining and birthday celebration. We also like the new décor of this Sizzler.

I wanted a salad bar so we decided to come to sizzler. Honestly we should have gone to souplantation. The salad bar has minimal selection. They have a few pre-​made salads that were okay. Their hot bar consist of chicken wings, bland meatballs, and taco fixings. My favorite are the fried corn nuggets but this location does not have them. They are only at the Los Al Sizzler. Desserts are minimal here as well. 2 puddings and soft serve with chocolate sauce. Definitely not worth $ 11.99.

My first time here. The food is good. I didn’t have expectations regarding service but I have to recognize our server, Chris. It’s not often you come across stellar service and least of all, at a $$ restaurant like Sizzler! Chris provided 5 star quality service — just in time refills, prompt fresh plates for the salad bar, consistent inquiries for any extras and the most friendly, professional and humble attitude!

My dad wanted to come here for dinner… they had a tri tip special with advertisements all over the place… when we ordered umm yea. The deal ended today… what? U can get it but not at the advertised price… this is highly illegal! How do u charge almost 20 bucks for a 6oz piece of tri tip? When the advertised price is 10.99! Then they also had asparagus on the side on the menu and BTW they don’t carry that anymore… but it’s on the menu? Awful awful service.

Now that this restaurant has been remodeled and been pulled into the new century, I’ll be eating here more; the place looks fantastic. They have also focused the menu down. That salad bar was starting to get out of control. Now, it’s salad, a pasta bar and a taco bar. That works.

Fantastic service. The interior got a huge update since last time I was here.
My steak was cooked perfectly and it’s really reasonably priced. Salad bar was spotless and everything was super fresh.
I definitely recommend this Sizzler.

Okay now some of you may be thinking, its Sizzler and its not trendy. But the Fountain Valley location has gotten a beautiful interior upgrade throughout the entire restaurant.
This make-​over is nothing short of stunning and this Sizzler looks like a polished steakhouse once again!
My steak was cooked perfectly, everything was served in a timely manner and was hot and flavorful. The salad bar and dessert bar were neat, presentable and replenished.
The highlight for me was seeing this restaurant running full steam and packed again. :)
I started coming to this location back in 2003 and i have always felt this is the BEST SIZZLER in Orange County. as i never left unhappy with the food or service. Twelve years later and its still the BEST SIZZLER in Orange County
Next time I stop by i’ll remember to take pictures of the restaurant and post them here.

Service I get here is always five stars! I’ve been coming here since I was 8! Family friends dates it’s always nice to be here! And they have remodeled for the better the quality of the service and food is now up to par with the appearance of the building :)

I came in here starving. Came with only the salad bar in mind thinking I wouldn’t have to wait and could sit down and start stuffing my face.
There was a short line, but I was immediately offered a chance to place my order with a young man with a notepad. Paying for my order, however, took quite some time – the one guy manning the cash register had a party of four experiencing some sort of difficulty with ringing up the folks in front of me.
Then two guys with ties came out from a back door – I assumed some higher up big wig manager types – and I was momentarily relieved that I was gonna be rung up so I could get my grub on. No such luck.
Exasperated, I begged anyone to please «TAKE MY MONEY» so I could start eating… (Can you say, HANGRY?!)
After my tantrum got my meal paid for, I sat down and stuffed my face with endless and inordinate amounts of food.
Service once I sat (Joanne) was prompt, friendly.
I’ll be back – and prepare to wait – but only to pay.

Rolling back from HB on an alterate route, we stumbled in here for a dose of dining nostalgia. As I walked through the doors, I thought to myself, «How cool is it that I used to eat at the very first Sizzler EVER in Culver City.»
The first Sizzler was adjacent to Airport Village (a huge discount hamburger joint with burgers going for 19 cents a pop) and positioned on the edge of a trailer park. The floor was covered with sawdust and every meal was served in a red basket. Fast forward a million years and I’m totally geeked waiting for a Rib Eye, baked potato and cheese bread. Sizzler, you get 4 stars just for haning in there from the 50’s until present day!

A nice place to come with family. They have ayce salad bar that comes with an entrée for $ 13 which is a good deal. I got there on a weeknight and there was basically no wait.
Pros:
++ That cheesey bread. It’s bomb.
+ Steak with unlimited shrimp was pretty good. Not the best steak in the world, but I’ve had worse. Shrimp was refilled almost instantly whenever I asked for more.
+ Salad bar had good options like the chicken wings, clam chowder, and carnitas. It’s like a mini buffet.
+/​-​They got our order wrong and we were one salad bar short. They ended up giving it to us for free which was nice.
Cons:
– I hate the steak knives. It’s like I’m sawing my meat.
— Steak tips were salty.
— It’s an older location, kinda reminds me of a 90s restaurant.
Overeall, it’s not a bad place for value but the food isn’t anything too special.

Sizzler is Sizzler.
All I can say about this place is that they have an awesome staff, & their salad vegetables are always fresh.
If you’re feeling indecisive about lunch, swing by; $ 10 for the salad bar, & like $ 2 for a drink.

Another not the best, not the worst but very consistent. They keep the salad bar fresh, they change things up alot.
Steaks are good here. Ive got better steaks here than some of the local over priced steak houses.
The same servers have been here for years.
They could really do a make over to the place, carpet, paint. Something to brighten the place up some. Its very dark and depressing 70s lounge feeling to it.
Its a place we can go and please all the family cravings. Sometimes to get all my kids to agree is tricky and this place usually covers every one.
Pumpkin Cheesecakes are through the roof!

I give this Sizzler a 5 Star for customer service! Great people work at this place that makes this place great. I like going to this Sizzler cause of the workers but overall the food is good. Their Steak with the salad bar is my favorite! I been ordering that combo for over 20 years and have been to a lot of Sizzlers and this one is the best I been to. But old décor that’s been around since the 80’s. I noticed the chain of Sizzlers are struggling cause of people ordering the meal with salad bar then eat their heart out on the salad bar and ask for their main meal to go… Oh let’s not forget getting a ton of chicken wings from the salad bar and have that too go to.
