The carne asada from here is pretty good. They definitely do a great job with the seasoning. A burrito out the door is about $ 6 these days. However, I have found the workers to be rude and they really don’t give a f about you. Would rather go elsewhere with better customer service.

Damn I’ve loved this place soo much every since I tried it at the Westminister location that I love that this one is more conveniently closer to my home. Great food! The all meat burrito is delicious and VERYINEXPENSIVE. Try it! You get a lot of protein for your money.

LA style tacos finally! Like another reviewer said, it’s marinated like any LA Mexican spot. Would definitely recommend the asada and al pastor.

I think I’ve found my perfect Mexican restaurant. I ordered the asada, al pastor, and buche tacos, with my dad ordering the asada combination plate, and my mom got an asada burrito. We also got the menudo, which was way too much but it was really good. I wouldn’t order the menudo again because I have a limited appetite for beef stomach soup, but it’s pretty good anyway, especially with the carrots and onions available in the little condiments bar. All of this only came out to $ 30. The asada was like crack, it was really really good. Amazingly good for the price(of which the tacos were only $ 1.25 and the burrito about $ 5) The rest of the tacos were good too, but the asada was standout amongst these delicious tacos. Even the asada in the burrito and combination plates were amazing, just like the ones in the tacos. What I liked best about this place is that their tacos though weren’t dry, they were moist and perfect, having that perfect texture, so I actually ate through the spare taco tortillas that came with the combination plate with some of the asada from the plate. Man, I’m still salivating at the thought of those asadas and I’m stuffed. When paired with the verde(green) salsa and some lime, it was perfect, almost sublime(pun intended). The portions were pretty large for the price for the tacos, which were overflowing with meat. The combination plates and burritos were decidedly less impressive with their portion size, but nonetheless were still pretty large considering how much food in total we had. Of course, with all this food we had leftovers, which is actually quite rare for only spending $ 30 for 3 people.

Good seasoning and pricing. Seems like decent quality. I like tacos with heavy veggies so they’re crisp and delicious. They don’t offer any other veggies except cilantro and onions so I have to pick somewhere else. No tomatoes. No lettuce.

Just found this place near my office. Amazing steak burrito — fresh ingredients, high quality beef, friendly staff, it all comes together here to create a new lunch favorite!

On a Unilocal recommendation from Mike, I decided to finally check this place out since it was so close to my house. It’s a small unassuming place in a little strip mall. I ordered 2 al pastor and 2 chicken tacos. They are street tacos and at $ 1.30 each it’s not a bad deal. The al pastor tacos were really good. The meat was moist and very flavorful. The chicken on the other hand had decent flavor but on the dry side. Next time I’ll try maybe an al pastor burrito?! Or get those tacos again. Their menu is small. I think they have tortas, burritos, tacos and quesadillas. I still need to check out their carne asada and carnitas.

Second time eating here this week because the first was so amazing. Their al pastor and chicken are both delicious. Prices are great and the guys working have been super nice both times. We’ll be eating here a lot!

WhereTF have I been strikes again!!! I have driven by here so many times, but never ventured in: Shame on me! The menu is pretty simple. However, Tacos El Rancho offers buche, cabeza & lengua — not your every day offerings in a place like Fountain Valley. In addition, TER also offers menudo on the weekends, and is located on the Northwest corner of Magnolia & Talbert in FV. I ordered two buche tacos($ 1.30/each), and a carnitas burrito($ 5.49). My cousins ordered 13 carne asada tacos of high maintenance origin($ 1.30/each; not pictured: Some w/no onions, others w/no cilantro, et al). To drink, I had a large tamarindo($ 2.49÷32 oz). I can usually inhale Mexican food. However, I was full after the two tacos and ½ my burrito. The tacos are packed w/so much meat, they are the best deal on the menu. The buche was super tender and nicely seasoned. The tacos were better compared to previously reviewed Las Barcas, Normitas or Sanchos Tacos(all in HB): 5 Stars. On the other hand, the burrito was just OK. It wasn’t packed w/meat compared to the tacos. Nonetheless, the carnitas tasted good: 3 Stars. Regarding the ambiance, it was basic, but surprisingly clean. You can see your food being prepared. Contrastly, Albertos around the corner appears dirty compared to TER: 4 Stars. Likewise, the service was really good. The cashier was friendly, and the cook was super efficient: 4 Stars. I’ve found my new Mex place close to HB! The only downsides to TER, is no drive thru, and it closes at 10 pm. Otherwise, TER has some of the most authentic tacos in the area. I can’t wait to try the menudo!

Not a fancy trendy place but for the value and amount of food you get this is a great spot. I grew up Mexican! I had home made tacos to traveling to Mexico and eating authentic tacos. This Definitely reminds me of a traditional authentic Mexican fast food. The value and portions are outstanding and taste is good with great tasting salsa.

I went to a new place near Taco’s El Rancho called Tio Flaco’s Tacos. I would call Tio Flaco’s an upscale taco stand. It was busy for lunch. They have a limited menu, but what they do they do very well. The meat is very flavorful and delicious. My only complaint was I spent what I thought was a normal amount for lunch and went away hungry. I just think maybe a few more options would be good, and that it is a little expensive, but like I said it was tasty. This is where I get to a review for Taco’s El Rancho. Since I was still hungry we went down the street to another place to review: Tacos El Rancho. Their tacos were a buck less, which to me seemed like the right price. They had a broader menu and they had pollo which was an option I wanted. The food was good. And the place was bigger so you didn’t feel squeezed in. So between the two I would say Tio Flaco’s Tacos were the best, but the best value was at Taco’s El Rancho.

This small little joint has the best tasting tacos fresh off the grill. Quick service and the horchada drink is yummy. This is a fast stop joint, nothing fancy but high quality Mexican food overall. Plus you can learn Spanish watching Mexican TV blasting all the the time. Yo Quiero Taco Bell.

Three brothers own 3 locations and the food is DELICIOUS. This is one of those family owned gems in a strip mall that if you drive past it on the way to Taco Bell, you are completely cheating yourself! The 1.25 street tacos are superb. Large delicious burritos, and all the favorites, with carrots, onions, jalapeños and limes available at the little garnish bar. You really should eat here if you want fast, delicious authentic Mexican food.

Great mini chain with 3 locations. Super fast service, everything is fresh and tasty! I had the al pastor tacos, 2 with rice and beans for $ 5, my husband the al pastor burrito, also around $ 5, so prices are great, portions large and I love their green sauce! The carnitas is a bit dry, which I had tried in the past, so I stick to the Al Pastor and am satisfied every time! No frills, just good, authentic taste.

$ 1.25 tacos. Tried Asada, Al Pastor, Pollo, and Carnitas. Tasty, but just bite size. The Side of Rice is alright and is actually bigger than the tacos.

Probably one of the cleanest taqueria spots I’ve ever been inside. They’ve got GREAT carne asada tacos! I think what separates Taco’s El Rancho’s asada seasoning is simply amazing. It’s one hell of a taco. Meat is cut mincely, onions, cilantro, verde salsa, on a lightly fried tortilla. YUMMMMM Tacos are now 1.25 each Recommendation: carne asada taco

I started going to the Westminster location many years ago. They were always a hit when my pops wrenched at Westminster Harley. Recently found we had one closer to my house and have been pretty stoked to make this a routine taco spot. The tacos are always perfect, meaty, tasty and always leaves my mouth burning in just the right way. I tend to go Carne Asada(beef) and Carnitas(pork). I have noticed if I get carne asada in burrito form its very greasy. Really a puddle on the plate when Im done. Its always tasty so I cant really complain, just looks unhealthy. They have a tequila sign hanging in the store, not sure if they have hard drinks or not. Im assuming beer. This place saves me from my long drives when Im having the«King Taco» cravings.

Came here post-race for grub. I always crave a breakfast burrito following a half marathon and this place did not disappoint. Located on Magnolia and Talbert in a small strip mall across from the gas station. I ordered a breakfast burrito(carne asada, eggs and cheese). The burrito was wrapped in foil, which kept the burrito nice and toasty. The cheese melted really nicely and was ooey-gooey! Needless to say, I gobbled that burrito up. I failed to get sauce, so I bet it would have been even tastier. Clean establishment and ample parking out front. Great place to pick up Mexican food on the go.
