World Plus Consignment

This place is the place to go if your wife/​gf is all about the authentic rustic high quality at a value! It’s like restoration hardware but without the arm and leg type of prices.
I am writing a review for Renee. Pronounced Rhee/​Knee. Thanks for your help! She was so kind and is an expert in home design. She knew what my wife liked right away, and worked to get us the best deal.

I’ve been shopping (& purchasing) here since their doors opened. I am a small business owner and interior designer. Recently I purchased a dining table, 2 lamps & 2 pieces of artwork. I made my purchase on the 21^st of the month in the afternoon & picked up on the 23^rd in the afternoon– 2 days, right? So as I am picking up my pieces I spy some artwork that would suit the space I am working on far better than the ones I had purchased on the 21^st. I ask the owner if she would let me swap the artwork for the pieces that would better suit my space. NO. She says that since I bought my artwork 5 days ago that she’s missed out on somebody else who may have wanted to purchase my ‘Sold’ tag artwork. Well, I explain it hasn’t been 5 days, in fact, it’s been 2 of her business day periods, and I’ve made a number of purchases through her store in the past — basically a GOOD customer. NO. So I am driving away thinking about how upset I am feeling and parlaying it, thinking about what I would do if it were my business. Well, I have policies and procedures too, but honestly, rules need to be broken sometimes. It is worth far more to have a happy customer than an unhappy one. Besides that, I treat my customers like friends — keeping that in mind it’s easy to do the right thing. It wouldn’t have been any skin off her nose to do the swap, in fact the artwork that I wanted to swap for was at a higher price, so she’d have made more, plus the artwork was kinda unique and my guess is it would have been sitting around a lot longer than the 2 pieces I originally purchased — which, BTW, had just arrived in the store on the 21^st according to the shop associate. If she had done the swap she would have had a stoked customer that would continue shopping there. Now, instead, she has given me a sour pill and as a result, I am not likely to give a favorable recommendation to my designer colleagues, nor to my clients. Memo to me… rules are made to be broken, caution… don’t be greedy, be giving, it’ll be worth far more in the end.

Hubby wanted to go to Fry’s and, when we got off the freeway, I saw this place and decided to check it out on Unilocal.Saw that the reviews were good and majority of tips/​reviews said that the prices were reasonable, so hubby and I came by after we were done with Fry’s.
Parking lot isn’t too bad, but it’s a little tight when you’re trying to get into the parking space or when you’re trying to get out of it.
When you walk in, you’ll see a LOT of stuff. Nothing is in order, of course. Tables, cabinets, sofas, bars, beds, chairs… basically, all possible forms of furniture. And, truly, prices are reasonable. The trick is trying to duck your way around the entire place to find the piece that you want.
In the end, we didn’t get anything, as it wouldn’t fit the theme of our place. But, it’s definitely not a bad little place, and something to consider if you want more older pieces.

This place is amazing!!! Here you can find unique pieces and high end furniture (at a below wholesale price). I love this place!!! My husband and I travel from Covina to shop. Every time there are new and awesome stuff. The staff is super friendly and down to earth. Love! Love! Love! This store and cannot wait to go back and shop again!!!

Sending out a big thank you to Danny Maher for introducing the store to me! This is not like any consignment store I have ever been to. This place is packed with tons of furniture, pictures and odds n ends; I mean packed! I had been looking for something for my entry way and haven’t been able to find anything that was the right size, color and price. Walked in and immediately saw it… fell in love with it… had to have it. The Manager of the store Melissa, was very helpful and started the ticket up for me as I walked around the store. Danny was helpful with suggesting other items that he thought I might be interested in. We happen to walk by a wall cabinet and another I had to have it!
When you arrive to the store, you feel welcomed but not pressured. The staff makes you aware of them and if you need them, but they don’t stalk you throughout the store.
I highly recommend going and checking out this place. So many ideas and the overall experience is a must.

On my way back from Fry’s I thru my wife a bone and we stopped at this consignment store. I must admit not my thing. I was surprised to see the great selection and
Prices. The best
Part is the friendly staff.

There are tons of great pieces here, especially if you like colorful Tibetan painted cabinets and long ceremonial style sideboard tables. However, I wouldn’t call it a consignment store. Most pieces look like newer antiqued Indonesian pieces of a very similar style. The thing is, all of that is just FINE, so I’m not sure why the owner calls it a consignment store. The prices are reasonable, not great on some, but good deals.

This store opened up in September and I just so happen to stumble across this awesome find while my hubby was shopping at Guitar Center.
One of the reps was telling me they get new stuff in on a daily basis. This is a big warehouse of home furnishings, unique items and it allows your mind to run crazy with ideas. Some of the items are in excellent shape and some are sold as is. There are no hidden flaws as you can examine the pieces, prices are clearly marked and it’s quite reasonable.
Personally, I love the old time charm feel, because it has more character. There are modern artwork, Asian inspired statues, European inspired artwork, amazing large pieces of solid wood shelves, book cases, kitchen sink sets, vases, chandeliers, and plenty of candle holders to choose from.
I think this is a great place to come find unique pieces of furniture to add or maybe fill a room. Happy holidays shopping!
