Great Chilli Verde breakfast especially for the very reasonable price. Just a couple of blocks from 99.

Grew up in this small down of Fowler and I love Favorito’s. It’s one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the valley. Not only is the food good on a daily basis, but their Sunday breakfast buffet is unbeatable! If you grew up here, you know how awesome the Alatorre family is. Part of why I love coming in is because Joe, the owner, always comes down to sit with us and catch up about life. It’s the type of small town feel where everyone here knows your name. I love coming here when I’m home.

Lunch buffet. After traveling in for a meeting, we found this place to lunch in before the long drive back. $ 7.99 lunch buffet with even cheaper specials and still running the whole menu, relayed by the nicest woman who shined true hospitality and service through our meal. Everything we ate from the buffet was tasty. Place was pleasant and clean. Only veggies were lettuce and the delisious pozole. A+ cheep Mexican joint experience.

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve experienced. The staff was friendly, but the food is awful. The salsa for the chips tasted like marinara sauce. The food lacked flavor.

Found while looking for a place for lunch. Very inviting from the outside, clean inside, great décor, friendly service, and food was good. A surprise find that I will be sure to return to when in the area.

Had the lunch buffett for our returning meal… very very good. Hot enchiladas to order were killer. Chimichangas were brought out, hot and crispy! Service was excellent, once again. Smiles and friendliness. We like this place and will be back!

Didn’t care for the food. Wasn’t gross but I won’t eat there again. So many better options out there.

Don’t miss this little family run place if you are in the area. Food is very good and fresh. Burritos are the best! Also try the guacamole and chips. Fantastic.

This was the worst place I have ever been to. And I am easily please not very picky. Ask for a chimichanga chicken and was severed frozen chicken that tasted like rubber with after taste. Did not eat it. Had my co worker taco and it was just grease. Complained to the server and did nothing. She Just wanted to go home. Never again coming to this place!!!

This place is great! We stopped here on our way home from Yosemite for breakfast. It was wonderful. I had the breakfast buffet. The Mexican food was great! There was cheese and meat enchiladas, green chili’s, the beans, the eggs cooked in enchilada sauce. The stand out was the home made corn tortillas. These were just amazing. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant so I could go every week.

Great local restaurant! The price was good; the buffet was a little limited. I would certainly return to it, but I’m not sure I would go out of my way for it.

Favorito’s is one of the best Mexican restaurants anywhere in the Central Valley. In my opinion it blows most other well known Mexican restaurants out of the water, «cough cough Sals.» Most of Favorito’s patrons, including myself, enjoy the breakfast buffet which has a great selection of Mexican type breakfast fare. Just be warned that Sundays it can get a little packed as many people enjoy breakfast after church. My personal favorite thing to order is from the menu, their steak fajitas, are well seasoned tender strips of steak with onions and bell peppers are the best! Their chips are salsa are also home made, crisp salty chips and mild salsa. They make fresh four tortillas and their rice and beans are reminiscent of my moms cooking. Favorito’s expanded not too long ago to include not only an expanded dining area but also a large banquet hall. Prices are very reasonable, you most likely to spend less the $ 10 per plate. Buffet is of course cheaper. I was introduced to this restaurant through my wife’s family when we were first dating and it has really grown on me over the years. The combination of great food, friendly atmosphere and attentive staff make this a real go-to place. In a world of «me too» Mexican restaurants Favorito’s stands out as one of the best in Valley. Just ask the countless regulars enjoying their food on any given Sunday. Take a short trip to Fowler and you wont be disappointed.

Don’t remember too much about the selection, but this is my parents’ and brother’s fave place to go in Fowler. Haven’t been here in a while, but it’s pretty cheap and good eats.
