I came here to get gas and food for the day, as I was working on Fox Island. The woman at the front counter offered the bathroom to me, but when the owner/manager(older man) saw me coming, he told me and another customer approaching the toilet to use the«public restroom» outside, which consisted of a disgusting portable toilet covered in trash and stench. As the woman behind the counter saw me walking to the port-a-potty, she offered for me to come back and use their bathroom if I wanted to «wash my hands», assumably next to the toilet I wasn’t allowed to use in the first place. I have never felt so second-class by a gas station manager. I paid for my $ 100 gas bill but left all the other items behind– this elitist establishment will never get another cent from me or anyone else that I know.

OMG this is the best place! I have never had good sandwiches like they make! It is amazing! Thanks for making feeding me at my wedding today at your chapel on fox island because I had no time to actually eat during the event! It was so delicious!

It’s the only store on the island for groceries or gas, but it’s pretty good and open every day of the year. The really cool thing? Growler fills. They have about six taps with a variety of local microbrews. Unfortunately they don’t have much in the way of fresh produce – but they usually have a few staples. They have some deli food and hand dipped ice cream too!
