REALLY REALLY GOOD FOOD and great prices can feed 3 people for under 20 bucks @ a Mexican place now a days that is pretty good unless you WANT TACO HELL.

We love this place! My kids love it too! We have eaten there for years. I dont believe that we have ever been dissapointed. The family that runs the place is very nice and the service is great. Definately a GO TO place for Mexican food when you are in Fox Lake.

Oh man. I wanted AUTHENTIC mexican food after healing from my tonsillectomy and Unilocal let me know about these guys (it seems to be a family-​run establishment) and I’m thrilled I found it!
The inside (and outside) leaves much to be desired but the food and portions are amazeballs.
The beef tacos are the fullest, but the fullest flavored tacos would be the pork. Get the dinner, for less than 7 $, and you’ll thank me!
The enchiladas are delicious too — and the burrito, though I only had it once, was yummy as well.
I find the chicken a bit salty, the steak can be a bit gristly but it’s delish and we seriously order weekly!

** 2÷2÷16 — My boyfriend and I have since moved away from Fox Lake, but we still make the 40 min trip out here just for this place because it is so good. Also, try the chiles rellenos — delicious! **
Don’t be put off by the lackluster interior, this place rocks!
When I used to live in Fox Lake, this was my boyfriend and I’s GO TO place for DELICIOUS and SUPER AFFORDABLE mexican food.
I’m a taco gal, so I have never ventured from the three taco dinner with rice and beans. I love the chorizo, cochinito pibil, steak, carnitas, shrimp, and fish.
The shrimp tacos and the cochinito pibil (marinated pork) are my favorite! My go-​to everytime I order.
We’ve tried a lotttttttt of mexican places around the area, and this one, for us, is definitely the place to beat.
Not to mention, my boyfriend and I both get a TON of food for a rought total of $ 12 every time, this place is the cheapest and best!

We drive from Lindenhurst to eat here when we are in the mood for Mexican. Excellent steak tacos. Overall food is really good. Décor and atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but it looks like they are slowly remodeling. Prices very reasonable. We try to go a couple times a month. Great place.

Ok, so my boyfriend and I just moved to the area. And this place was recommended by family. So my boyfriend picks up some steak and GB tacos. They were the most disgusting tacos I think I ever had! It was bland, fatty meat pieces and the meat looked green! It was so disgusting my dog wouldn’t even eat it! I will never eat here again. Go across the street to Taco Bell, you’ll get way better food! So we tried the Mexican grill in the strip mall across the street and a 100 times better!!! I dunno why this place gets good ratings??? I dunno maybe it was just a bad day but still c’mon is should ALWAYS be good! Disappointed!
