The place looks like One of those restaurants from kitchen nightmares or one of those shows. There is junk all over the ceiling in and the walls and the place is over all outdated from the chairs and tables to the bathrooms, and the carpet is dirty. The food was bad, and overpriced. We paid $ 30 for 2 meals at breakfast time. I got a waffle, hash brown and eggs. I didn’t eat the eggs because they were too soggy. Too much oil in the food it was leaking out onto my plate. Me and my husband do not plan on coming back.

I’m basing this review off of their breakfast, which we have quite often. It’s really good! I love the outside seating area when the weather is nice and the staff is always extremely friendly. My only complaint is that they are slow, even when it doesn’t seem to be that busy. The food is worth the wait though, in my opinion. I’ve also heard that their fish fry is good.

Wonderfully Delicious Breakfasts in a cute family atmosphere. Restaurant is casual, cozy and had cute gifts for sale inside. We make this place a ritual every time we come to Fox Lake !!!

Two stars because waitress was friendly.
This was a mistake. I knew it was a diner and small town fare but, was hoping it would be a good diner. Not the case.
Food was mediocre at best. Typical eggs toast hashbrowns etc. Small portions at 7 – 8 $ per plate average .
Place reeked like old grease and oil .
I walked out with my clothes stinking .
Please vent your kitchen .
The waitress was kind and that is why I gave two stars. Not even a good comfort food diner. The place looked so neat from outside not the same in the inside.
