I give it 5 stars for their vegetarian selections. They make delicious«fake meat» subs that I have not found at any other restaurant. If you are vegetarian you should definitely try the veggie cheesesteak sub.

Tried the Italian not grilled. Flavorful Italian cold cuts with everything but the kitchen sink on a 20 inch sandwich. Pretty good. Very fresh. The roll was soft with a gourmet taste. The staff took a lot of pride in their work. Helpful to a fault. I will be back.

Wow! I dated my now wife down in Dover Delaware when this was a one off sub shop. Every time we visit Dover we have to get a Bobbie for the Nascar race! But now we drive down to Foxboro to bring back the old days! Great sandwiches and good for kids as well. Hopefully they will branch out further North like Seabrook! But well worth the drive to get our favorite sub!

I just drove home after ordering my large Italian sub. I had ONEREQUEST. Extra pickles. Somehow this translated to NOPICKLES. SUBSUCKED. Don’t KNO if someone’s miracle ear batteries were low or what happened. Advice to people who will order here: Repeat slowly what you want. TWICE.

Came here before heading to the bar to get some food in me. Decided to get an Italian sandwich and was bigger than what I thought it would be. I asked for extra hot peppers on it and they gave me more than enough, which made it taste even be better. It was a very good sandwich, but I had to save some for later. Would I come here again, the answer is yes. The food was good and they have a good variety of sandwiches and salads to choose from.

For a pregame ritual, this is the place to be. I hadn’t eaten at Capriotti’s in years, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this store on my first visit to Patriot Place. I’ve been here twice in the last few months and the cheesesteak and Capastrami were both among the best I’ve ever had. Even my veg GF, who is now a raving carnivore having suffered my special brand of conditioning, gushes over the food. I would have never thought about putting cole slaw on hot pastrami, but it works, especially with their housemade Russian dressing. The cheesesteak comes with white American cheese which is something I never considered to exist but its delicious and worthy of any street corner in Philly. And yes its a little pricey, but I cant even imagine the overhead here. And I find it wildly ironic that the same people complaining about a $ 12 sandwich are the same people that just paid a couple hundred bucks for a game ticket and $ 9 for a small cup of beer. LOL

Grabbed a bite while x-mas shopping. My rueben was Ok, more kraut than meat, but the portion was huge. I wish they also offered half-sandwiches on normal bread. Even the bags of chips are larger than the normal single-serving. I tried to install their loyalty points Android app… seems more of a battery drain.

The sandwiches are somewhat void of personality, yet consistent. The steak and cheese is flavorless. It could really use some seasoning. The italian is actually pretty good, the only problem is they don’t have banana peppers. What’s an italian without hot peppers? Kind of a take it or leave it lunch spot.

Had the cheesesteak and the steak to bread ratio was rather upsetting. The sandwich was way more bread than meat. At those prices, they should be able to put some more steak on there. Last time I visited I had the meatball sub and the meatballs were just ok. Most local pizza shops use better tasting meatballs.

Got a meatball sub here today. Yup, mealy tasting Meatballs that are probably frozen. Unless your a salt freak, skip the Romano cheese. Ate ¾ of it, threw out the rest. 5 guys next door does it better!

Pretty good food. It’s a typical sandwich place, better than subway or d’angelos. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their sandwiches are MASSIVE. I ordered a large expecting a 12 inch sub but ended up with a 20 inch sub. I’m not complaining, but it’s probably good to know this beforehand. I eat here a lot. Very good.

Good sandwiches at a slightly higher than average price. The service wast fast and friendly. Cleanliness was quite good especially since they were mobbed by pre-concert crowd.

Very good subs. Really good quality bread, with made-in-store ingredients, like turkey, roast beef, meatballs. Friendly and attentive service. Yes, a tad more pricey than a Subway or D’Angelos, but better quality meats. And it is in Patriot Place, after all.

I was at Patriot place looking for something quick so I stopped in here not knowing what to expect. The place was empty so I had time to read the rather short menu without people breathing down my neck. The young lady at the counter was very helpful informing what most people try. So I listened to her and then ordered something she didn’t recommend. I ordered the Grilled Sausage sub that was a nice size for the money, but the this sandwich lacked any desirable flavors. While I was eating the sausage sub with grilled onions and peppers I was trying to determine if the sausage was cooked yesterday or last week before it was reheated and put into a sub. When I’m back in the area I’ll look elsewhere, but if I do return stick with the recommended Thanksgiving sub with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce . Value — Good Service — Good Cleanliness — Good Taste — Poor

this was my first time at a capriotti’s. while i appreciate the restaurant’s apparent intention to deliver excellent food, they fall flat in execution. we were properly welcomed, as i am learning is the capriotti’s way. the menu boards are informational, and clear enough. i had known, through personal research, that this chain is supposed to be known for its turkey. upon asking some advice from our counter person, i was informed that this restaurant is famous for its Bobbie sandwich(turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo on a sub), and had supposedly won the best sandwich in the US for it. so– i went by his recommendation. i also ordered a cup of the clam chowder– apparently a special, and not a soup that is regularly in-house. what a disappointment. i’ve had«turkey dinner» sandwiches before and very much enjoyed them. this one, however, was entirely lackluster. the turkey was flavorless. the stuffing was bland. the mayo was absent. the cranberry sauce was good, but should not have been the most flavorful thing on my plate. i think serving this sandwich cold in its entirety is entirely a mistake, and causes whatever flavors may(may…) be there, to be lost. my small clam chowder was thin in texture, decent in taste, but mostly potatoes. also a disappointment. my boyfriend’s capastrami was a clear triumph over anything i had ordered. IF we go again, i’ll order that. *** each receipt comes with an invitation to fill out a survey, which i did. however, according to my receipt, whatever benefit i receive from that survey expired that same day. what a joke. ***

The food is pretty good but it cost a lot of money; More so than you would expect from a typical sandwich shop. Myself and my child ate there for just under $ 25 for two subs, chips and drinks. Granted, the Subs are huge and tasty and worth splitting with a friend if you are on a budget, like me. The meatball sub and cheese steak, two good tests of any New England sandwich shop, were very good with little fat and gristle. Perfect for a cold New England day. If you are looking for a restaurant with pleasant and friendly service, I do strongly recommend. I was on a special trip with my child, and dealing with friendly people who genuinely care really improved my Patriot Place experience. I know that sounds contrived but it is true. I might suggest that they expand their children’s menu and make it easier for children to understand.(not talking about placemats and crayons, just make it a little bit more kid friendly). Also, the salads there looked good and I look forward to trying the next time I visit.

Had the Capriottis medium pastrami sandwich today. The sandwich was a bit pricey for the amount of pastrami I got on the sandwich. I get than that, the sandwich was delicious. The cole slaw and the pastrami were fresh and the sauce they used was flavorful. I also had the tomato pisc soup. It was a little bland but was quite hearty. Probably could’ve used some type of cheese to make it more flavorful.

I grew up in Bucks County, outside Philadelphia. Italian hoagies at Lee’s may have made up ten percent of my diet.(I know Capriotti’s is Delaware-based, but I don’t remember having one anywhere nearby.) In 1999 I moved to New England and have been up here ever since, with the exception of a few years teaching in North Carolina. I still order Italian subs as a default at many restaurants, but usually it’s a pale comparison to what I remember. Then, before a Revs game, I tried the Italian at Capriotti’s for the first time. It is *exactly* the Italian hoagie experience I grew up with. Perfectly blended meats and cheese, bread that’s moist and chewy without being soggy, exactly the right seasoning… I know the Bobbie is marketed as the highlight of the Capriotti’s menu, and my fiancée prefers the chicken cheesesteak, but I would never order anything here except the Italian. And when I do, I often get a large, which is too big for a single meal, just so I can have more for lunch the next day. If any of you are Mid-Atlantic transplants like me who have lamented that New England can’t get a hoagie right, Capriotti’s is the light at the end of the tunnel. And if you’ve always lived in MA/RI and you’ve never had a Philadelphia-style hoagie, congratulations, an opportunity has arrived at your doorstep. Seize it. (Postscript: I noticed a few other reviews claiming the counter folks were cranky or seemed like they didn’t want to be there… I’ve been quite a few times now, and service was friendly and straightforward.)

Very poor meatball sub. Meatballs tasted old and frozen and hardly any sauce to go on the bread?! No thanks. They sell Herr’s chips and the other sandwiches are probably better, but I love meatball subs. I don’t love Capriotti’s though. I found it very bad smelling in here too. Not a fan.
