Food is good for bar food with good variety. Servers are good as well. Very attentive but not overly so. The whole experience is good for the money and I like they have tvs everywhere which distracts the kids.

I like the large bar area at Jake n Joe’s and wouldn’t eat elsewhere in the restaurant, as it’s more of a place to catch a game while having a bite. They promote 50cent wings on Mondays and have great options for build your own burgers. I really enjoy their chicken cobb salad with avocado. I’ve seen that there are gluten free selections available as well.

We’re in from Kansas City for the playoff game tomorrow and decided to try this place out since it’s right down the street from our hotel. I expected yummy pub food, but unfortunately was disappointed with mediocre quality and the service was far worse than our meals! I got the steak tips with mashed potatoes(which was the best part of the meal) and tater tots(unintentionally ordered double potatoes– oops!). The sirloin tips were tough, chewy, and marinated in something God awfully sweet. And you know what? The food would’ve at least warranted 3 stars; and our server 1 star– so, I thought I’d average it out. We were seated quickly– which is great considering it was 7:00 on a Friday; however once we got to our table it took nearly 5 minutes before our server greeted us. I’ve been in the industry for the past 12 years(I am 25 now) and I understand sometimes tables can be missed– especially if you’re busy. I get it– accidents happen. Had she apologized for overlooking us, getting caught up at another table, etc., this review wouldn’t have even been written. She came over and said nothing other than asking what we wanted to drink. We ordered a bucket of Bud Light and a vodka tonic(there was 3 of us) + we wanted 3 waters. It took over 10 minutes before we even saw her again. No apology for the delay once more. She could’ve at least brought us our waters as she waited for the bar drinks. I was so on the verge of leaving it’s not even funny. THEN she took our order. I’ve never felt so rushed or that I am such an inconvenience to someone just by asking for onions and cucumbers to be left off of my side salad. She was rude, unprofessional, and that’s probably not her fault in the end. Her management should identify how slow her service is and the happiness of her customers. She received a 20% tip because it’s still how she pays her bills. But just a heads up– this place is totally not worth it. Oh and her friends showed up so naturally, instead of dropping our check off or refilling my water that had sat empty for 50% of the time I was there she deemed it appropriate to stop everything and go chat. Rude rude rude. I hope mgrs look up our meal from the night and get their ‘s’ together with their staff or more of these reviews will come about.

Service was okay. The food is just plan awful and I stress the word«plain.» I used to remember it as much better in the past. I had the pulled pork sandwich which did not take like anything. It was dry with no BBQ sauce on it on on the side. All it had was bun, pulled pork(I think) and a slice of American cheese. This place has really gone downhill. But what really frosted me was when I payed the bill. The check came to $ 9.62. When the change came back there was no coins as the waitress rounded the bill to $ 10. Not that $ 0.38 was going to «break the bank» but it’s the principle. I wonder if they did that all customers how much extra they are no entitled to have?

I love this place. I work near by so this is our favorite go-to place after work. The wings are awesome and the on-tap beers selection is fantastic. The service is always great as well.

food was terrible and over priced waitress was friendly but while we were eating she sat at the table directly across from us counting her tips with the bartender complaining about them they were friendly but had that stuck up attitude, not the warm fuzzy feeling you would like to get while your eating ill goto chelos after 9pm for half priced apps lol

Have been a regular at jake and joes foxborough — great place to watch games but the staff is phenomenal — Craig, Alexis, Christine, Paige, Lyndsey, Katrina, Chris, Elizabeth — all and the rest — great service, friendly — makes it nice to visit.

Excellent service and food here. The bartenders especially Christine and Jess were great! They always had a fresh beer waiting for us despite the fact there were a lot of customers. Will definitely come back again!

Tasteless frozen and microwaved food. How can you mess up french fries and sweet potato fries? Well, Jake and Joe’s can. Pulled pork sandwich had cheese on it and no sauce, just dry shredded pork that was cold in the middle with BBQ sauce on the side. Chicken tenders were more like patties and completely tasteless. It’s all frozen food that they drop in a fryer or warm up in a microwave. If you want a slice of cheese on a hamburger it’s an extra 99 cents! Their specialty burger is a dollar more than if you assembled it yourself from the list of extras for 99 cents each! They have lots of TV’s to watch sports on and every TV had a different game on. It was a loud and very unpleasant experience with bad, expensive bar food. Would NEVER go back.

Management is dumb. After a major event at the Gillette stadium, the Marriott across the way filled up with hungry and thirsty people. But, Jake n Joes decided to close their doors early that day. They would of cleaned up. I guess they don’t care about the business. Because of this business I probably will not stay at that Marriott any more either. Great job.

Ordered take out, a steak salad and nachos and a burger. The nachos were clumped together, hard to eat. Disappointed, I moved onto the steak salad which was ok but nothing special. I was told the burger was cooked perfectly so there is the highlight and deserved an additional star. My first time eating here, maybe it would be better at the restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant! Stopped here last night for dinner with my boss who grew up in Foxboro and swore by your boneless buffalo wings. They were fantastic, as well as my chicken and broccoli pasta dish. Great service, awesome atmosphere(wish there was a sports event going on that day), and will highly suggest this if I’m ever in the area again!

I’ve been to Jake n Joes a handful of times since moving to Foxboro earlier this year. It didn’t take long for it to become my favorite bar food spot. They have great wings and apps, wraps and burgers at the least. Jake n Joes is a great place to get together with a group, to watch a game, to share some appetizers, or to get a great sandwich. I recommend checking it out, especially for sports fans. Also, you’ll likely appreciate how they decorate the bathrooms!

Been traveling here since June 2013. Has noticed slow continuous downhill slide with the food. Today found out that Wedge Salad is off menu. To bad. It was one of the best I’ve had. Only 2nd to Outbacks. The Calimari Rhode Island style used to be awesome but now it’s just greasy. The squid is cooked perfect but it’s just way too greasy. They used to serve with paper underneath. Now it’s bare on a plate and you’re left with a puddle of oil. The wings are just over cooked and dried out. BUT. BUTBUT 1, The burgers remain awesome and make it worth a stop. 2. The beer selection is great. 3. The mac N Cheese is to die for!!! 4. The salads are fresh and crisp So I give it 3 stars for the last set of items

I’ve never heard of this place until I was visiting the area. I’m not sure if it’s a chain restaurant, but it has the atmosphere of one. I will say that the Southwest Burger was as delicious as it was messy. If I’m ever back in Foxborough, I’ll be making a visit here for sure.

Great place to take the kids to watch a spots game while having dinner. Kids bored waiting for the food; there are many local sports pictures on the walls around the dinning area

My husband and I both enjoyed the food, but we waited a long time for our entrees to come out. The pulled pork quesadilla was tasty; we would definitely get it again. I had the chipotle chicken wrap, and I would recommend it pretty highly, as long as you like some spice. The chipotle sauce had quite a bite to it. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and proclaimed it to be ‘good,’ while refusing to elaborate, because he’s a big jerk. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often enough, but not often enough to be annoying. My only complaints were the long wait we had for the food, and I thought it was a little pricey for what we got.

Honestly the concept is fine if not overdone. Lots of beer on tap and thats the best part of this place. Been here half a dozen times and always have to wait for a greeting or service. Very unflexible and almost rude or uncaring at a minimum. The bar has the worst sevice by far, much better at a table. The food is ok… at best. But thats all i expected and is fine. The meals take forever to be served. And on fact i dont think I’ve ever been greeted all that nicely. Recommend the Catman. Better food, better service. For reference, i dine out 6 days a week.

This was next door to were I was staying. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was haddock which was juicy juicy juicy. I like my fish oily and not dry and this was perfect. This chips were decent and while the slaw was nothing to write home about it was inoffensive. The only downside was that the fish was so flakey it was actually hard to eat. But that’s a good problem To have. One really negative is that I don’t care for food served on paper in a basket. The paper tears and gets in the way of the eating experience. Also the beer selection was lacking mostly mass market chain beers. No microbrews worth having. Overall better than expected. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 but given the lousy experience I had tonight across the road at 99’s I’ll bump it to 4.
