Rude and dirty experience. We ordered appetizers, entrées, drinks, desert and coffee. All of which took a long time to be served. Our appetizer plates and utensils were dirty. During desert a rude neanderthal-like server was told to come to our table and say…“yeah you guys need to wrap it up since we have a 90 minute dining policy so you need to leave” to me, my wife, my 10 and 12 year old sons. I asked to speak with the manager and she came to the table dressed in a shirt that a greasy burger joint would ask her to iron, sleeves rolled up to show her inappropriate tatoos perhaps to try and intimidate us. I told her we had not finished our coffee nor had gotten or check but were rudely asked to wrap it to up per an unexplained policy to us. She and the neanderthal-like server perhaps were enjoying there furlongs from the nearby correctional facility based on there aggressive and rude demeanour. Food was NOT worth it. I recommend Bar Louie for a more professional experience or Five Guys Burgers for your quick dining experience without the rudeness.

Food at CBS Scene wasn’t bad and reasonably priced, typical bar food and the food runners were very nice. However, that’s where the positivity ends for this restaurant, or at least this experience. To highlight what went wrong here, i’ll just bullet point because there were so many thing! We had a child with us but were sat at one of the tables without a TV in a virtually empty restaurant. We werern’t given crayons for the child, not even a children’s menu. The service was terrible. We were there for 2 ½ hours and only ordered beer & appetizers. Our beers were messed up three times. We asked for 16oz beers and received 20 oz’s…THREE times. We had to repeatedly ask for water and then the waiter never came back to re-fill them. BUT he refilled the water at the table next to us. The bathroom was disgusting! There was some sort of green substance all over the sink, floor, wall & mirror. Finally, our bill was split wrong and I’m talking wrong to the point that he over charged us! How is that even possible? Mind you, half of the people in this party were or are waitresses and know how the system this restaurant uses works, so to have screwed up to the level he did on the bill had to be intentional, it was no accident. We asked to speak to a manager and when he came over, he brought the waiter with him which made it very difficult for us to truly express or disdain with the service. Needless to say, we will not be going back there.

This is one of the greatest places I have ever been for karaōke. The drinks are good and the food is good. There is free wifi. You can watch TV at your table. Servers are attentive. Love it and can’t wait to go back.(Karaōke is on Friday nights only.)

Came here for a Mother’s Day dinner with my family. We wanted to sit outside on the first floor where we entered, 80% of the tables were empty. The host told us to go upstairs and ask to sit outside, which I found a little odd because there were clearly people outside on the floor we asked. We went upstairs, the hostess seated us outside on the empty second floor. Her shirt was alarmingly inappropriate. I thought for a second I was at hooters. The tables were covered with water and SHE told US to pull up a chair to accommodate our party,(there was only three of us), and walked away. Us, not wanting to sit in puddles of water and a little insulted tried to go back inside but the door was locked. Eventually, the host let us back in, and told us to go back downstairs and sit out there(where we originally had requested). We told the original host on the first floor we need to be seated on the first floor and she rolled her eyes. My mom said this is ridiculous and the host looked at her and said What did you say? trying to argue with her. I came for a Mother’s Day meal and did not expect to be bitched at by condescending employees. It wasn’t even busy. I’m only giving this 2 stars because our waitress was really sweet.

Food was decent good for adults, kids menu was basically frozen meals from Market Basket, appreciated the waitress warning us and suggested we order an adult«side» of Mac-n-cheese for my son vs the kids menu which was just the blue box stuff. I am 6’5″ and the booth was VERY cramped. Food was expensive, I suspect they can get away with the high prices and take advantage of the drunk football fans on Sunday’s. Some reviews commented negatively on the wait staff, our waitress was very nice. There was a tv station right at the booth, I’m guessing this is very cool during a game however I was grossed out by how dirty looking it was right by our food, TV was covered with dust and crumbs, plus we got there right around opening for lunch, I’d think cleaning those TVs would be part of the opening or closing check list(see pic).

When after at Patriots game to avoid some post game traffic. Since it was located in Patriot Place and on the top of the XL staircase, it’s pretty easy to spot and find. Plenty of free lot parking since it’s an entire shopping and entertainment plaza. It’s a very large venue with multiple floors and decorated with TVs everywhere — typical sports bar. As you can imagine, this place was packed after the game(especially the bar), but we were seated very quickly. Overall service was great! The hostess and waitress was quick and attentive. Food came out quickly and the right temperature. It was, however, like any other American bar & grill. The menu was pretty predictable but the prices were a little higher than I would want for the type of food we were getting(but sort of expected since it’s on Patriots property). If you’re a Boston or New England fan, I definitely recommend visiting the general area at some point!

Why not 2 Stars??? Where do I start??? We were seated by a hostess and our server NEVER showed. We walked out of the restaurant. I informed the hostess that our server NEVER showed up. We walked back in because we could not get in anywhere else without a reservation and my ten yr old son wanted to watch sports. We were seated by a very apologetic hostess in another section with overly attentive staff. Our food arrived instantly and it was very tasty — my son had a wedge salad and I tried the cheeseburger. CBS might be the red headed stepchild of the major networks but tonite they redeemed themselves. Thanks front of the house staff.

Service was good. Prices were a little high unless you went when the appetizers were on sale. The cheeseburger pizza was very good. The buffalo wings could have used more flavor but we’re spicy enough. The fish n chips were good but the coleslaw was rancid. I do want to go back but only when they have discounts, the prices are a little high on their own.

This place is cool, sort of. Cool stuff is good… when it works. Here, it seems something is always wrong, something doesn’t work, or something doesn’t go right. CBS Scene is probably the coolest restaurant in this area of Route 1, sitting in Patriot Place, in a 3-floor space, easily accessible from I-95, and close to Walpole, Sharon, and other communities. I come up here to Patriot Place rarely, as I don’t really like the design of it, and feel it isn’t very useful and more pointless. I prefer the Natick Mall and other modern shopping spaces like Legacy Place, with better and easier, more normal designs. I only came up to Patriot Place on Valentine’s Day to re-visit and re-try Red Robin, which moved just across from CBS Scene a few months ago. Walked up to the door to find a sign«Due to technical issues, we(Red Robin) will be closed today». Needed to find another space for lunch FAST, and saw the CBS Scene. I had been to the CBS Scene twice in the past, and as I said above always felt some sort of issue occurred during both of my previous visits. This visit was good, yet(as usual) also had some issues. First, I like the IDEA of this place. 3 floors is cool, design, layout, and view is superb, and the food is consistently great. On the other hand, service can sometimes be slow, waits can be long, and heating seems to never work properly. During the visit on Valentine’s Day, I was sat at the last booth, next to part of the huge window and was FREEZING. I got moved to another, better, warmer booth after. So that’s one of the major issues. The other is the stairwell. 3 floors affects in(what should be) escalators and elevators, but no. CBS Scene chose one huge stairwell to be added to their restaurant. My advice, since the staircase is steep, dangerous, and way too many steps. Take the elevator. It’s spacious and just easier. Other issue, the TV’s. I guess it’s a good idea to have at a restaurant like this, but if you put them up for the restaurant, make sure they actually WORK. Ours wasn’t working, and the manager took over 20 minutes to come over to tell us that the satellite wasn’t working and we had to put another channel on. Whatever… Rant about terrible stuff over. Now for the good. First, convenient access. 2 close by parking lots, one below, and one behind, always easy parking spots(yet if you park in the lot below the restaurant, take caution, you’ll have to climb 6 staircases, so go around to the elevators!!!). Second, everyone’s FRIENDLY. The hosts, waitress’, and managers were all friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Nice to see in a spot like this. Third, food. Yes, maybe it’s a bit more expensive than a regular, chain like TGI Fridays, Chili’s or such. Quality seems higher, value seems more, and taste is just as great. Plus, everything in my party’s order was made-to-order, and there were no mistakes. Lastly, the entire restaurant is clean and the layout is superb. Restaurant is huge, so many seating spots and the booths and tables are all modern, comfortable, and clean. Little issues during each visit, but the restaurant is overall… great. In my book, it’s a 4 star spot. «Yay! I’m a Fan.»

Managers are tearing this place apart! Group of 10 seated around 9:45 pm, half of our table put their food order in right away because they were starving, the rest of us wanted to look over the menu. 15 – 20 mins later we ordered our entrée selections. Another 15 minutes later the waitress comes over and say they only do appetizers after 10pm. Okay why did it take her 15 minutes to tell us this? It was literally 10:05pm that we ordered and again half of the table is getting their entrees. If we were told this is so after 10pm we would have looked over the menu a little more quicker! But the waitress was new so whatever, I guess she didn’t this?!, giving her the benefit of the doubt. So we proceed to order appetizers by this point it is about 10:30 pm! The restaurant was dead because it was so late and our appetizers finally came about 40 mins later. Wrong orders and cold fries! The waitress did not check up on us much constantly asking juice and refills that were never brought until asking for a second time. We asked for the bill and all of our bills our screwed up! Last straw for us, we asked to speak to the manager, which a manager should have been at our table at the first place at 10pm. Manager Chris comes over to try and hear our complaints. He apparently was told that the other manager on for the night maybe by the name of josh? Already came to our table at 10pm. We told him no one came. And he proceeded with endless apologies and telling us that our waitress was CRYINGINTHEBACK. Really? Is that even professional on both ends? Apparently she was new? WHYIS A NEWBIEBEINGGIVEN A TABLEOF10!!! We were never rude to waitress, even upon asking for a manager we told her that it was not her fault but if we could speak with a manager. So I don’t know why she was crying but this explains why she avoided our table, which means we didn’t get refill drinks or condiments that we needed! So Chris is continuing his unapologetic sorries for us and does nothing but tell us that she was crying! Manager Chris cashes out our bills and then bills me for the wrong amount?! 2 times More than I was supposed to be charged! By this point Chris was gone and I had to ask for a manager all over again to correct my bill! Needless to say, I think we can all agree none of us will be coming back here!

We stopped in the other night about 1.5 — 2 hours before they closed. We sat down, ordered drinks and were finally ready to order our dinner. To our surprise the kitchen was only doing pizza and appetizers, umm I’m sorry what?! Whatever. We each order an app and I order a cup of chili. Food took a little bit to come out, no biggie. The chili… Burnt beyond belief. I let the server know that she can take it because it’s gross, she kinda shrugs it off. When she brings the bill she said«I had my Manager take the chili off I don’t know if you noticed or not». Oh wow thanks! You really did me a solid having your manager take off the burnt chili… I don’t think I’ll waste my time going back because who knows what the kitchen will be «doing.» HA

The BBQ Chicken Loaded Nachos are hands down the best thing I have ever had. Ever. There’s a great view of Gillette Stadium both in the evening and at night. Down side: it’s pretty pricy and overcrowded during the day.

I have been to CBS Scene a few times, and I have had both great experiences, as well as awful ones. So evening it out to an average rating seems fair. I went last night for a friend’s bachelorette dinner. Apparently there was some type of high school football championship going on, so the place was crazy. One friend arrived first and put in our name at CBS– it was a two hour wait. I arrived shortly after and the hostess acted like she had never heard of my friend and that no one had put their name in. I had to ask her multiple times for her to finally realized what I was talking about. We went elsewhere for drinks and returned two hours later for dinner. We were seated at an awful table between the bar and the door so people just drinking at the bar were standing around our table. It’s the type of bar table people will sit at while waiting for their actual table. Except this WAS our actual table. Service took forever! My drink was good… Once I finally got it. Apparently because of the event, CBS Scene was not serving their full menu. We were not told this until we actually got the menus, and we were told we could not order off the regular menu. If we had known this, we probably would have gone elsewhere. Our server(Nick) was really nice, and when I explained I couldn’t eat gluten(which every item on this menu was full of) he asked the kitchen if they could do a pizza off the«event menu» GF. They agreed, which I appreciated. My pizza was good, and everyone else seemed to enjoy their food– but then again by the time we got it we had been waiting for over three hours total, so we were starving. I can’t judge this place on one night, but I do find them to be slow every time I am there. Drinks are good, food is decent. But whether you go during the high school football championship on Saturday, or on a Tuesday at 2pm you are going to wait way longer than anyone should.

Stopped in on a Saturday night with friends. Only the 3rd floor was open, it was packed and we had a 30 minute wait for a table. We tried to get the bartenders attention to order drinks, without success. A couple left their bar seats so we snagged those chairs and after another 10 minutes or so, were able to order drinks. Two bartenders were working hard to keep up. Reservations are suggested, and a text message is sent to your phone to let you know your table is ready. We were seated at a high top table, by a wall of windows overlooking an outside patio and Gillette Stadium. We started with calamari and a portobello mushroom app(or was it a small plate?). I was surprised to find the hot peppers in the calamari were breaded and fried same as the squid. That was interesting. The breading was light and not greasy, the fried peppers kept the dish lively. The portobello mushrooms were very good, served with chopped tomato, and a balsamic reduction. Mild and tasty. The wings got good reviews as did the scallop small plate. The Turkey burger was dry(as turkey burgers are) but the ‘greens’ on top were less than appealing and along with the sauce on top, not enough to help off-set the turkey burger dryness. The onion strings were substituted for french fries and they were good. Just what you’d expect from an onion string. The buffalo wrap was also good. It was ordered by a man who puts hot sauce on just about anything so it wasn’t up to his ‘hot’ standard. He ordered a salad on the side(hey, men eat their veggies too) but it came with sweet potato fries which are not a veggie that man will eat. It took a little while, but a salad did eventually appear. We ended the meal with one of their brownie sundaes. It is quite large, and more than the four of us could finish. As a group we consumed a couple bottles of wine and a member of the waitstaff came to the table and opened the bottle. He poured a sample to try and only after approval did he leave the bottle. It was a very busy night, and the waitress stopped in a few times to check in on us but as we were spending so much time catching up with friends, we barely noticed if she was attentive or not. She was very personable, and drinks, including water, arrived in good time. This is definitely a ‘burgers and sandwiches’ place. They have a few items that are outside of the bar food box, but for all intents and purposes, it’s a bar. The food prices are OK and the alcohol prices are a bit high. With two $ 40 bottles of wine, the tab for the four of us came to $ 264.00, plus tip.

I have eaten here quite a few times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. It’s a huge place with lots of seating so you never have to wait. The service has always been great. The staff Do a good job making sure your drink is Filled and your food is as you requested. This time I had a burger and it was delicious. Juicy and huge. Very tasty. They have an extensive drink Menu and anything you could possibly want you can have. Pricewise i think the food is reasonable but the beer Menu was a bit much. It may be because I’m such a craft beer lover and I know how Much I pay for a single Beer in a store that they seem very marked up but I think it’s Mainly because of the location. I will be back for the food For sure but will Limit my alcohol intake For sure.

If you’re looking for a no-frills, basic sandwich and burger experience with the added bonuses of overpriced beverages and individual televisions(think old-school, in-booth jukeboxes) to distract you from the endless wait to «enjoy» said basics, CBS scene is your kind of place. If you’re interested in a decent meal and relaxed setting to compliment an day or night at Foxboro, there are better options. Other added bonuses include a sparse entryway, filthy carpet, worn furnishings, and apathetic waitstaff more interested in chatting than serving. Save yourself and break even with a meal at Bar Louie or apps and drinks at Tavolino.

We had plans to go to the 5 Wits Espionage adventure for my birthday, so we stopped by for dinner here first as it’s right next door. The place is visually interesting with spiraling staircases(less fun to walk up and down these) and lots of movie/tv posters. As a sports bar, the place is also packed with TVs. I ordered a Grilled Half-Pound Cheeseburger medium with swiss cheese and mixed greens, carelessly not realizing that it was a $ 1 extra substitution. For the extra charge I had mixed greens soaked in some kind of dressing that made it pretty unpleasant and I knew it wouldn’t sit well in the fridge if I took it home as leftovers. No toppings or anything like that. Wouldn’t recommend. The burger itself was definitely big(had leftovers) and had tons of onions on it. It was just okay to me. My girlfriend got the California Chicken Sandwich and gave me her sliced avocados – they were literally inedible. I’m not sure if it had gone bad or was just not ripe at all, but I am a huge avocado person and I couldn’t eat it. A huge turnoff. She was smarter than me and ordered sweet potato fries, which were the best thing I had that night. For dessert, we ordered 2 Brownie Ice Cream Sundaes for Two for the table of 6. It’s a huge portion of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, 2 brownies underneath, and 4 toasted marshmallows. 3 – 4 people could easily share one bowl. I loved the chocolate ice cream and am genuinely curious what brand it was because I’d buy it! The vanilla was meh, as was the whipped cream. The brownies were sickeningly rich and I couldn’t each much of them. The biggest disappointment was probably the«hot fudge» which was more like chocolate sauce… super thin, just drizzled over the top, and not even warm. Wouldn’t’ recommend this dessert. The food is more of a 2 – 2.5 but I’ll round up for the fairly good service.
