This is the only friendlys in my area and I only go when I free ice cream coupon. When we walked in we were greeted immediately. This place is rarely crowded and always understaffed. Our waitress was good at first but the more people came in the slower she got. We split chicken fingers, which were kind of dry and not as good as usual, and each got a sundae. We asked for a box for our fries 2 times before she finally brought one over, when we ordered our ice cream we asked for it to go and she gave it to us in a dish for there. I didn’t even want to ask for a to go cup because I didn’t want to be there any longer. We probably won’t be back any time soon.

This is the worst service I have ever had. I remember loving Friendly’s years ago, more for the ice cream, so i thought it will be a great treat for my three year old son. My husband and I decided to take him to Friendly’s on 11÷1÷15, which was a big mistake. When we arrived, there was nobody in the front so we waited a few minutes before someone finally came to sit us without as much as a hello. I bypassed that, after all, this is no five star dining. We waited over twenty minutes without anyone coming to at least offer a drink or take our order. After my son was getting restless, I went to the register to ask the young lady who was standing there how long it takes to have your order taken. Her response was that was not her job and walked away. My husband and I decided to leave and go to the 99 with a very disappointed 3 year old who had already picked out the ice cream he wanted. We had a great dinner at 99. Our waitress Lindsey was great and my son was happy with the sandwich ice cream that came with the kids meal.

So disappointed with breakfast today. Service was slow and the server seemed more interested in her regular customers than me and my son. Took her forever to bring me the creamer she forgot, didn’t check in to see how things were, refilled my coffee towards the end of the meal, like when she brought the check, and the food just wasn’t great. I know I shouldn’t expect 5 star food, but decent diner food would be nice. Not sure I will be going back again. There are so many better breakfast joints around.

I went in on Sunday 9⁄27 around 5:45 for ice cream to go. I waited at the register for at least ten minutes before anyone noticed me. There was no visible person working behind the register, and the restaurant was not even busy. While waiting to be acknowledged, I heard a few of the male employees in the back shouting out F bombs casually while conversing with each other… one was a hipster dude with big ear plugs, probably on his way to a Good Charlotte concert after his shift. So inappropriate, especially at a place whose main customers are children and young families. Along with the swearing, some other scrubby looking dude wearing a Batman shirt walked toward the register but stated he couldn’t help because he was ‘Batman’. I assume this piece of trash worked there, not really sure. Finally, a young competent looking girl came and took the order. Everything behind the counter looked completely filthy and disgusting. Is there even management? At least the ice cream is good.

This was literally the most disgusting and filthy restaurant I’ve ever been to(photos attached). The place was literally trash ridden. There was food left out everywhere and the amount of food on the floor was disgusting. The counter tops were littered with food waste and used utensils. While I was waiting for my food(all of 20 minutes), I saw two employees pick their nose. I almost vomited. TWOEMPLOYEESPICKEDTHEIRNOSEONTHEJOB. This place should be condemned

Something isn’t right. The employees seem like they hate their job and it shouldn’t be that bad. I think they might be understaffed. When we arrived, nobody made us feel welcome and instead a man just yelled a number at us(the number of people in the party) and abruptly showed us to a table(after letting us sit there for a while though). Probably because he knew it didn’t make a difference when we sat down because we’d still have a long wait ahead of us. You’d think since Friendly’s had to close 90% of its restaurants, they might focus on on the few remaining ones and make sure the quality of service is high. I’m sorry, Friendly’s but this store is a good example of why you are almost out of business. Put some time and money into your food, your employees and your training.

I want to love it here but it so disappointing. I have three kids under 9 so you can understand why I come here. The staff tonight was friendly but they don’t seem to care. There is an older Spanish waitress who has been there for years and she is awesome but I didn’t get her tonight. The restaurant is clean enough but one thing drove me crazy tonight. I sat in the back and could see a chicken finger that had fallen and was left on the floor in the employee area. I was sitting there for at least 45 minutes and witnessed at least six different employees walk by the chicken finger at least fifty times with no one picking it up. The food is good enough tasting, a step up from McDonald’s but not much value in it. For 9.99 I got 5 smaller size chicken fingers, a handful of fries and a small dish of sloppy coleslaw. This was at most a 7.99 meal elsewhere. For 5.99 the kids got there max and cheese, apple slices drink and dessert. I can’t really complain about the price for all that. Overall I say to myself I can’t believe all these friendlies are closing but then I come here and think never again. I know the kids will draw me back in but I’m just a major sucker. Please get better… please find some employees that care even if you have to pay more it may save this place.

We live a couple of miles from this establishment and over the years have frequented it for ice cream and dinner sometimes. Over the past few years, this place has gone from bad to worse. They are known in the neighborhood as the mean-ies. Service is horrible and staff always looks frazzled and overwhelmed even when there is no one in the store. After the remodel, the place looks cold, steril(not a hygiene type steril but a design type steril) and uninviting. We stopped going there after we walked out the last time we were there.

I have never been so unsatisfied with a service before to the point of having to write a review. I live and work in Boston i have experienced a lot of different Restaurants/Pubs/Bar/Fast food places and this is the first time i have been treated in such way… my friend who lives in Framingham in pregnant and she was craving for ice scream and burgers ha-ha great Combination. I searched for different restaurant and ice cream shops she chose Friendly’s. My first time in one since i was a Child… I cant believe that a company that huge would let their values towards customer service change so drastically this location is a nightmare. Every single one should be FIRED! Awful service snotty employees, disrespectful and definitely not what friendly’s is all about. I arrived with my friend a group of employees had their backs to the door chatting on and on to each other never once looked to welcome us. so i said hello and asked if it was self seating, one girl looked over and said yeah yeah go for it, and continued on with their conversation… i should have left right there and then but my friend convinced me the food will surpass the service. we sat down for almost 10 minutes no one ever came over to say hi or give us menus. so i headed to the host desk and asked for menus … a girl walked over unfortunately i think she was the manager/supervisor she rudely asked if i had sat myself since i was looking for menus i must have. WOW what a character she was. Everyone was extremely rude. Food was good 2 thumbs up perfect portions for those of us who watch what we eat. i will NEVER ever go back. Good Job kids you are on the right road. soon to be unemployed bums. No one deserves to be disrespected in such manner. Specially paying Customers who had nothing but patience anyone else would have not done the same. i left them %18 percent tip because i saw the unhappy customers around us were definitely not leaving them a penny. SAD.

What a terrible way for us to end the year! We went there only because my kids were asking for some breakfast food for dinner, but this will be the last time. We waited 3 minutes to be seated while 1 lone employee cleaned the tables. Finally a host came out but had to vacuum up the food all over the floor before seating us. Than, even though they have breakfast food all over the menu, we were told they only serve breakfast until 11am. Ok, not a huge deal. Then I was told they don’t have any more meatloaf or chicken tenders. If the kids weren’t starving we would have left. The kids Mac and cheese is the Kraft version I could make at home and the fries were steak fries which I hate. My patty melt was decent. I thought the new ownership was trying to clean these places up? They might start by blocking the view of the kitchen from diners. It looked dirty back there, with pots and pans all over. The food was mediocre at best. I felt bad for our waitress because she had half the tables in the place. I couldn’t believe how many people were in there! This will be our last time to Friendlys. We’ll still have the memories, but the competition puts these guys to shame.

Hey guys, remember when you were a kid and Friendly’s was a treat? Well this place is where you should take enemies if you want them to never visit you again. Slow service, dirty restaurant, bland food; it’s great for those you hate or care not to see again. Picked up a girl online that you don’t see a future with? Well take her to this dump and make sure you order breakfast, their slow service will guarantee you hours of small talk and muddled anger over slow service. Are you a local teen looking for a place to hang out? I would probably pick this place over the local Y any day as the level of supervision is at an all-time low. If any Friendly’s management is reading this, take the cue and turn this place into a Laundromat or another Dunkin Donuts for Route 9.

When you walk in it’s usually not busy. Service is always friendly, and the food is good. I wish there was more of a variety to the menu sometimes, but it’s perfect for families with kids. And for the price of the food I really can’t complain much about it. They are open 7 days a week until 11pm. Which is perfect for people like me who get late night ice cream.

This Friendly’s has definitely turned around. It seems like they have new staff, that are very pleasant and very attentive. Food came out quick and was great! This time, we were in and out in about a half hour. Seems like they are also trying new ideas, like build-your-own burger, which I might try next time.

Why is it that ALLL Friendlys only have booths… Dont they know that it is soo much easier to have Tables for children in High Chairs… That way it isnt all the way in the aisle & doesnt run the risk of him getting hit with somthing or having hot food dropped on him… This drives me insane, had to start with that… But Friendlys is great because you can be loud & the people there kinda expect it… Its a chilidsh place(and clearly the spot for Fab Seniors too)… Went here with the BFF’s and the 3 kids after Jordans Furniture the other day & got a prime parking spot… Was hoping for a wonderful experience, didnt get that, just Meh! The girl who served us(after 5 mins) was not the most welcoming person, then like looked at me like I had 5 heads when I asked if they had tables… So we sit down with 3 overly hungry, anxious kids & they are taking their time… We try to rush the kids order, as in we werent even looking at menus & knew what to order for the kids(translation: RUSHTHEKIDSORDER)… So as we wait for ALL our meals to come out… What seemed like an eternity, the food comes & Its what I expected, but whats with the shortage of fries lately… I get more at McD’s… I ordered somthing off the special menu & it was wrong, but at that point I was like whatever… We get through our meals, we have Ice Cream… Nothing fabulous — Just Meh… Ill prolly be back because its the only one in the area, but nothing to write home about & the people there seem pissed they are there… GETSOMETABLESFRIENDLYS!

I remember when I was young my Mom use to bring me to Friendly’s. I don’t really remember but she tells me I would order pickles and didn’t like ice cream. Well I more than make up for it now! As a kid it just makes sense, who wouldn’t like going to Friendly’s. Well I got snookered into bringing the kids there cuz I got a coupon in some mailer or flyer. Yes, the kids thought it was great and I guess it was one of those credit card moments that is «priceless» since they had a blast. I am probably setting them all up for life’s adult disappointments for when they bring their kids and remember the same fun I remembered as a kid and go why the heck did we come here??? The place had a steady flow for a Friday night. I wanted simple and fast. Check the simple box with a + PLUS — Kids all picked from the kid’s menu. Check the fast box with a — MINUS — Slow like molasses. Over 2 hours for«simple» and ice cream??? Now we are into almost cranky witching winey time and I don’t mean the kids. Used the coupon to get b1g1 free Supermelts. My Rueben was edible but Mr. G’s beef something was not. Thought it would be like a steakum but it had some funky sauce that umm just turned the tummy. Note to self and to other Unilocalers stick to the ice cream! Or — go when it is the middle of the night when you must be drunk and almost into hangover stage. When you don’t care about what time it is and just need a place to go… or is that Denny’s? Plenty of parking for terrible service.
