On a date with my husband and had a wonderful evening at Melting Pot. I had asked for a quiet table and we had a lovely booth away from large parties. Our server, Sue Ellen, was attentive, helpful and efficient and provided wonderful service. We enjoyed the pace of the different courses and was amazed that we were at the restaurant almost two hours. Every course from the fondue, salad, entrée to the dessert was delicious and had great presentation. Thank you Melting Pot for helping make a lovely date night.

You definitely go to the melting pot more for the experience than the food, not to say that the food is bad. But its more about the interaction with the food. The one slightly negative comment I have is the portion sizes. If you don’t get the 4 course experience you might go home hungry. The cheese fondue course was a decent size we tried the new brunch cheese which had bacon eggs and hot sauce in it very tasty and had 2 types of bread green apples and a very small amount of veggies(cauliflower, broccoli, and baby carrots) for dipping. We than had the Wisconsin wedge salad again a tasty choice but nothing spectacular. For our main«entrée» portion we choose the traditional bouillon cooking method(2 of our party of 4 had never tried fondue so we figured this would be the safest choice) here is where I think the problem is with portions. We got to choose 3 «mains» for our entrees I personally choose the teriyaki sirloin, pot stickers, and the shrimp. I actually got a decent amount of shrimp and sirloin I think but only 2 pot stickers, if you choose the andouille sausage you only get 4 very thin slices of sausage. I know technically you have unlimited veggies but I just feel certain proteins or mains you get more of than others and you have no way of knowing that when you order unless you have been there before. For dessert we had the French Toast white chocolate, I’m not a huge fan because I’m not a white chocolate lover but it wasn’t bad and everyone else at the table seemed to love it. All in all food was good, atmosphere was great waiteress was awesome and we will definitely do this again. Try the Sunday Brunch Special while it lasts well worth it

From the service, to the various four courses, everything was top notch! This was our anniversary dinner and they made it as special as it deserved.

Hmm, a lot of people seem to like it here. I cant say I am one of them. First off, the place smells, and not of delicious chocolate, but more of smelly steaming broth(as far as I can guess). Your clothes reek when you leave. Seriously, its gross. The cheese fondue we had was ok, but the accompaniments stink, some bread, some apples and a few pieces of raw veggies. Not very appealing, especially at $ 21 for two skimpy portions. The salads are actually pretty good, the portion is perfect, and they are priced fairly. As for the meat course, there’s no way I’m paying $ 25 to boil my own steak. So I cant offer an opinion. The chocolate fondue was delicious(again $ 21 for 2, plus $ 5 each if you want«additional dippers») not very much comes with it, again, you really expect more for the money. And that is my biggest complaint, it’s ridiculously expensive to eat here. The menu is designed for you to spend $ 50 each, plus $ 10 each for most drinks, so with a few drinks and coffee it’s a $ 200 night. That’s the money you spend for a fantastic meal, not for mediocre novelty.

The food was too good to be true but the prices are extremely over priced :-(I wish they had more food to offer :-(

Went out to dinner for our 7 year anniversary last night. Everything was phenomenal, from drinks all the way to dessert. Started out with the French onion gruyère cheese, which was amazing then went on to entrees that we cooked in oil. If you’re cooking in oil I highly recommend stuffing mushrooms with the green goddess sauce and tempura battering them! Yum!!! Finished the meal with the cookies and cream marshmallow dream; a blend of dark chocolate, marshmallow fluff, and Oreo cookie crumbs. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our server Dee Dee took great care of us to make sure we had the perfect night out! Great spot for any celebration!!!

Extremely underwhelming for a $ 125 dollar bill for 2 people. I didn’t know that the prices quoted on the menu are per person including the appetizers and dessert. Maybe there was fine print somewhere but it would have been nice to be reminded since they knew it was our first time. Our waitress though was very nice. The alpine cheese appetizer had WAY too much wine. It tasted so bitter with the bread. She at least tried to fix it with broth but it barely helped. The food was very boring even though I got filet mignon. The only decent tasting thing was dessert but for $ 20 dessert for 2 people it’s not worth it unless it’s amazing. Would never come again.

Perfect experience as always! We stopped in after our maternity photo shoot. Our waiter was perfect. There was never a time where we were waiting for him and wondering where he was. He stayed on top of us very well and made pleasant conversation. You could tell he truly loved his job. So glad I finally got to fulfill one of my biggest pregnancy cravings at 39 weeks.

First time melting pot goer. Had a really good experience. The restaurant setting was amazing, quite, intimate, fun. Service was incredible. Genuine smiles, great conversation. Worth a good tip. Recommendations were spot on. Drinks were a little on the weak side and the table clutters easily. Otherwise good customer service, friendly, fast. Even management were attentive and helpful. I recommend the 4 course experience(if you want a complete experience), the classic platter was amazing. Desert was hands down the best. We had the original, it was incredible. I suggest if you have some money and want to have a good time eat at melting pot. Also if you’re drinking be aware of all the hot areas.

My boyfriend and I went to the melting pot to celebrate our valentines date a little late because I was out of town before. I made resercations through Unilocal and it was super easy. We got there about half an hour early and they seated us right away which was awesome. We were seated in a cozy little corner booth away from the crowds and it was so romatic. Our server, Lexi, was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and wine pairings. Lexi even gave us a gift card for next time because she said we were great guests! We did cook our entrees at our table but it wasnt a big deal beause she explained how to do everything. Over all an amazing experience. The only downside was that dinner took a while but it really didnt bother us because we were enjoying eachothers company and living in the moment. Love the service, food, and atmosphere!

The staff were nice, especially our server, Troy, and the bartender was nice too but the wait was ridiculous. On Valentine’s Day we had a 6pm reservation and weren’t seated until almost 7pm. The 5 hostesses at the door seemed sympathetic but the restaurant overbooked the night and staff seemed bothered when I asked how many people were in front us. Inside, the lighting was anything but romantic, the lights were on full brightness. I’ve been to several other melting pots and never had to wait an hour to be seated in a bright cafeteria. The Melting Pot chain is great but I won’t be visiting this location again, considering my bill came to nearly $ 200, that money would go farther at another location with better ambiance and service… which should help reduce the wait times.

Great restaurant for fondue. Typical Melting Pot — great for stopping at bar for cheese and chocolate with a few drinks or long nice dinner. Service makes a huge difference and we have never had a bad experience with service here. Expect a more unpleasant experience if you make a reservation for special holidays — but that holds true for most places — just worse here.

Hit or miss. Went once with a reservation, rude hostess, we were sat(party of 3) 35min past reservation time. Returned again, same issues with getting a table promptly with a reservation. That being said, it’s hard to mess up the cuisine when you have customers cooking it themselves. Not much value or wows in terms of experience or taste. Could have had a better experience.

I’ve wanted to go for quite a while since the concept of a restaurant which exclusively does fondue fascinates me. We went for dessert, we had the milk chocolate fondue and I had the yin yang martini. The martini was very pretty but not very tasty as it had chunks of ice in it after the blending finished. The fondue was pretty great although even with a double portion there wasn’t a ton of food. I would thoroughly like to go back for a full meal. I should also note that it’s a very intimately lit restaurant and would certainly make for an excellent date spot.

This chain doesn’t even deserve 1 star. What a rip off this whole concept is. The only reason I went w/my husband & daughter was b/c I received a $ 25 gift card. That card covered only a combo of cheese fondue(mostly Italian bread to dip into cheese), s small salad & chocolate fondue for dessert(ONE strawberry, 6 slices of bananas, 2 pineapple chunks, &2 marshmellows) — $ 25. The entrees my husband & I choose — $ 22& $ 24 each — consisted of nothing more than 8 oz. of bite size pieces of steak. Oh yeah — there are various cooking oils to cook your food in(additional $ 6), but you all have to agree on one oil. The bill came to $ 120. I could have had a filling & delicious meal for my entire family elsewhere — & I wouldn’t have had get out my phone & use the stop watch to cook it myself, timing the deep frying for exactly 2 ½ min. Don’t waste your money here.

My fiancé and I had the best time at the Melting Pot. We sat in an adorable little cove that felt private. We ordered a combo of cheese, meat, and chocolate. I loved the cheese and all the dipping items. I ordered a cab sav that was poured generously. I also really enjoyed the chocolate. The only reason I didn’t give this experience 5 stars was because we felt a little weird about cooking our own chicken. The dinner was super relaxed and not rushed. We had so much fun.

Okay, so I haven’t eaten here yet, but I have gone to the bar. Upon entering the bartender immediately greeted me with a smile and a great drink selection. Watching her work I knew she was a complete professional. Able to do 8 things at once and not make any mistakes. The drink prices are reasonable and they are made with the flare of a well trained bartender. She made it look effortless. I will return and ask for Sarah… My total review, Extremely clean, well decorated and the servers/employees were all very nice and professional. I highly recommend this location. I am extremely curious to have dinner there, being alone that night, I had a feeling it wasn’t a dinner place for one. My new bartender friend Sarah kept me company with great conversation and recommendations for when I finally do eat here.

Just to be clear from the get-go, I love the idea of the Melting Pot. I much prefer my dinners to be a full experience. If you’re like me, you go to Melting Pot for the 4-course dinner. This expansive meal allows you the opportunity to gorge yourself on all the delicious offerings of Melting Pot. The price is per person and it is completely customizable. If you’re coming for the 4-course set aside a few hours of your life, it’s a marathon eating event. Let’s start off with the atmosphere. I always make dinner reservations since Melting Pot can become quite busy on the weeknights. Reservations are easily made via phone or on their online reservation app. I’ve always been seated in one of the two person cozy alcoves. These are private, dimly lit angled booths with walls on 3 sides. This makes for the perfect, intimate dining experience. A curtain can be pulled covers part of the open side to allow the wait staff to create delicious fondue treats. While I am all for intimacy, it can become quite warm in these booths. The steam of the fondue being heated and the burner always being on makes this a steamy(in the big hair way) experience. We start with a cheese course. I LOVE the Classic Alpine. This fondue is a combination of Gruyère, Raclette and fontina cheeses blended with white wine, garlic, and nutmeg. This creamy fondue is light and not too filling, an important aspect of a 4-course meal. The Alpine pairs wonderfully with tart granny smith apples. This also comes with various types of cubed bread and assorted veggies to dip. For salads I like to stick with the California. This salad includes the greens, Roma tomatoes, candied pecans and Gorgonzola cheese with Raspberry Black Walnut Vinaigrette. I find this to be the lightest of all the salads and definitely the most flavorful. My boyfriend always gets the house salad. This traditional salad has iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, croutons, and egg. I find the egg to be too heavy for a large meal. The rest of the salad is just too bland and ordinary for a night out. Now the entrée, this is where you can mix up your meat choices the most. I like the classic which has 2 types of beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp. I’ve had the lobster additions but I failed miserably at cooking times and ended up with rubbery lobster that I paid too much for. The Mojo cooking broth adds a lovely caribbean flavor to the meat. I find myself rotating all the meats through all the different sauces which accompany this entrée. I also love stuffing the mushroom caps with Green Goddess sauce. Yum! Finally dessert. I usually let our waitress steer us in the direction of dessert fondue. My favorites have been the s’mores and caramel nut(think snickers bar). I’m usually too full at this point but find a way to get lots of chocolatey covered fruits, cakes, and marshmallows into my body. If you ask your waitress for a suggestion she might even recommend one of the staff’s personal creations. Those are always a must-try since they are the fondue masters. Now of course, this is an expensive meal. For the four courses we pay anywhere from $ 40 – 50 per person. I’ve added wine flights to my meal as well, a wonderful splurge if you’re a wine lover like myself. Melting Pot, to me, is a 5 star dining experience from the food to the wonderful service. However, the past two times I’ve been to this Melting Pot location we were charged incorrectly. Each time we pay for the 4-course dinner but have noticed when we got home that they also charged us for the dessert course. It was always my understanding this is included in the 4-course dinner, being the last course and all. I wish I noticed before we got home since they charged us an additional $ 20 – 30 dollars each time. Definitely not a fan of paying that much more on top of an already expensive meal.

I’d give 3 ½ stars if I could. It was definitely a cute experience, I enjoyed the interactive aspect. The service was a bit slow though and the salad and entrée portions were so small. The cheese and dessert parts were probably small too, but felt like the normal proportion to what an appetizer and dessert should be. It was fun but I don’t think I’ll go back any time soon. I have more fun doing the Japanese shabu style and get more back for my buck at places that do that.
