Mexicali view is tucked in the back of All Stars Bar. It is small and not the cleanest place around. That being said, I really liked what I had. I tried the 3 chicken taco dinner for 5.95. I like the rice and beans that came with the meal. Service was fast and very friendly. Mexicali View is open late so they can serve food to the All Stars bar. I will go back to try different things.

This place just recently opened (located behind All Star Bar and Hot Grill) after several others failed in their attempts to make a go of it. Don’t be fooled by the «hole-​in-​the-​wall» atmosphere. This is a family owned business (father and son work there) and the food is fantastic. They have their tamales and carnitas made fresh daily and all the other food is made to order including the guacamole. It has quickly become our go-​to mexican place for take-​out. But there’s also a place to sit down and eat inside the bar as well. Both the owner and his son are extremely nice and friendly. I recommend that you call your order ahead since they make everything fresh to order to give them time to get it completed.
