Really good local spot for tacos. I ordered the shrimp tacos and steak tostada… really good! I’ll definitely be back.

Very good overall. Was able to call order in and the employee I spoke with on the phone and then when I arrived was very helpful and patient. My husband preferred the al pastor to the carnitas taco and I thought the steak taco was outstanding. The chicken taco was fine — I just like it to be more seasoned but it seems like all the places out here do just a roasted type chicken vs. a chicken tinga taco. Everything seemed extremely fresh including the guacamole. Beans were great, rice was fine –nothing speacial. Place looks very clean to me and the only smell was deliciousness in response to some of the other reviews.

My favorite food is Mexican. I saw they just opened up down the street from my house and gave it a try. The owner is so friendly and a hard ass worker. He is always up for talking and being extremely kind. I’m very big into salsa. It could be my last meal on earth– that’s how much I love salsa. He makes his homemade and it’s to die for!!! OMG I go there just to buy salsa sometimes!!! Another plus is the owner is a cutie ;)

Tried this place for the first time because I was in the area. Friendly service and appears to be clean! Freshly fried chips with salsa.(Free). I ordered one beef taco and one steak which is what I normally get at my usual spots. Preferred the steak over beef but both were seasoned nicely. I will definitely eat here again!

Ok so I’m a very naughty Unilocaler! I use Unilocal all the time, but never write a review. Today I felt compelled to review MYTACO. It’s a fairly new neighborhood joint, that been stirring up a little buzz. I drive past this place every day and have never stopped. Now this is the south burbs so there’s not much expectation for Mexican food, just the ol steak burrito… now I think I have a handle on good Mexican food. I’ve been around the block a few times junior. MYTACO is just a small hole in the wall serving up some damn fine tacos. What I feel sets these guys apart is the care and dare I say… love they put into their delicious treats. When I go to a new taco joint I always order a few different items. I got the tacos el pastor, a sopes with chorizo, and steak tacos. The meat on all the items were seasoned and marinated to perfection! Very tender(no grizzle bits) melts in your mouth. They make every batch of chips to order. Beans were fresh and creamy. Guac needs a bit of salt, but all good there. Service was fast and polite. The kid running the place offered up some nice small talk and threw me a couple freebies. Even if he hadn’t he won me over, heart and stomach! I gave it 4 stars because it’s obviously not the best place on the planet and I would of liked just a tad more portion.(In their defense, I was extremely famished) Stop there if you’re on The Frankfort area of route 30 and 80th Ave. you won’t regret it

This is the best Mexican food in the area. The actually have carnita taco’s which are not dried out. Steak torta very good but they were skimpy with the meat. The portions of beans and rice need to be increased too. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the portions. Otherwise the food is excellent.

This is one of my favorite places to go for Mexican food. Taste like home. The Carnitas is just like dad used to make. People who say this place smells. NOTTRUE The food is fake food. Got to be crazy all fresh meats cooked to order. complain because they did not get a refill on Horchata I heard of refills on water or fountain soda but not Horchata This place is clean and the food is fresh and I will continue to go there every Tuesday or any other day I feel like Mexican food. THEBEST I LOVEIT

This place was slow and just ok when it first opened but has gotten way better. Portions could be a little bigger.

OHMYGOSH… starting with the disgusting sewer smell, to the gross food… to the rip off on a horchata refill. . My husband had a Chicken burrito, which he said was decent… Unfortunately, the nachos were gross. Liquid cheese, and fake steak meat… EEWWW. I think even the sour cream was fake. Then, my husband asked for a refill on his horchata, and they charged him full price! BUENOSNACHOS, just down the street, has FREE refills… HASTANOLAVISTA, BABY!!!

I like the idea that they are made to order, so I prefer to call ahead to avoid any waiting. The employees are so friendly and the restaurant seems to maintain cleanliness. I have had steak taco’s and chips with salsa so far. I think the steak could use a little extra flavor, but they are satisfactory.

I stopped at my Taco last week. I had their steak burrito. It was delicious! I could taste the freshness in all the ingredients. When i sat down they brought me a basket with tortilla chips and two kinds of homemade salsa. This is a family operation and they really go out of their way to please the customers. Since i am working close to this restaurant i will be going there often. CLEAN, FRESH, FRIENDLYAND… DELICIOUS!

My Taco is located where the old Hawgs and Dogs used to be. I have eaten here twice. The first time I had steak burrito and it was solid but lacking in flavor. I had to add the green salsa they provided and it tasted better. The food is very fresh. I watched the cook throw the raw steak on the flattop grill and cook it up. The second time I took my daughter here after school. We had the nachos with steak and chicken tacos. Nachos were awesome and the chicken tacos were very flavorful and delicious. My Taco is small and it looks like a family owned joint. I like it.

I was really excited that a new Mexican restaurant was going to be opening up in Frankfort close to my house. So once I realized it was open, I ran right over. The menu is pretty small, but I’m okay with that. It was just me eating tonight, so I only got a carnitas burrito. It was good, but nothing special. The carnitas did not have much flavor, but as someone who only gets Mexican a few times a year, I’m not sure how much flavor it should have, which is why I always have some trouble writing reviews on Mexican food. For the non Mexican lovers, they do have some American offerings as well. Also on the menu was three breakfast items. According to their menu, if you dine in you get a free soup. There is no soup listed on the menu, so I’m not sure of what soup that would be. If you do plan on dining in, there is only four booths. So I would say this is more a place for takeout than dining in.
