Lia’s Pizzeria

Food is outstanding and service is great! Reasonably priced and a menu with lots of options! It’s hard to stand out as a stellar pizzeria in this neighborhood but they hit the mark… Just wished they offered delivery.

We picked up a regular pie, they made it fresh and took about 15 minutes. When we got the pie home, it looked like a real pretty pie. We dove in to grab slices and that’s when it all went very down hill. You pick up the pizza and the cheese runs away from the slice in your hand. The cheese slid off, back into the cardboard box from which it came. We found the sauce also a bit runny, which made the pizza mushy and dippy. Two things a slice of pizza should never be. The taste and flavors were that of average pizza, we just wish the cheese would have stayed on the pizza, and the sauce not run down our fingers onto our laps.

I eat here all the time. Food is well prepared and delicious. Orders are on time and never any mistakes.

Great little pizza place. Nice efficient staff. Pizza is good. I only had regular but plenty of choices.

I cannot speak for other items, but I always go to lias atleast once a week for their buffalo chicken slice. I am in love with this particular slice at lias and would suggest it to any buffalo chicken fans. The staff is friendly as well.

Come here from time to time for a slice. Basic pizza joint with 10 or so tables. Clean, nice staff. Overall, a decent slice. Haven’t had anything beyond the basics.

Vegetable Stomboli terrible. Frozen broccoli and cheese. No taste at all. Broccoli rabe sausage pizza okay. A lot of good places in the area. Need to step it up.

Not impressed ! I tried their regular and Sicilian pizza and must say that it’s just average !! definitely nothing to brag about. I also tried their other location in Oceanside and it’s also average.

Solid Slice of pie.

One of the best values for the price. Very good regular slices and Sicilian. Close by and the price is slightly less than some of the other local pizzerias in the area and taste is as good if not better.

The best pizza around. They make a great thick crust pepperoni slice. Their regluar food is just amazing to boot.

We love going there they have fresh pizza every time and it’s delish. Call ahead with your order if you are in a rush.

If my sister had not pointed this place out I would have never even thought to go in. Boy am I glad that I did!
Small pizza joint in a strip mall on the border of FS and West Hemp. Clean and compact, they do a really nice job with their grandma and marinara slices.
Crispy and flavorful crust with a slightly sweet marinara sauce, and just the right amount of cheese.
Arnold Palmer’s are in the fridge. I will certainly be back for seconds!

Have you ever tried a FRIED CAPPELLINI? don’t even know if i’m spelling it right… and i don’t care.
We should ALL just CARE that it tastes AMAZING!
What is it? It’s a lightly breaded and fried, aerodynamic, perfectly formed version of fried mac and cheese… except with soft thin stringy noodles and white sauce. All you need is a side of marinara and that’s it. you’re good to go!
In NY, there’s a pizza joint on every corner. this one has earned its corner (or its storefront in the shopping center).

All I can say is Spinach Pinwheel… Noommmnommmnoom. I am Happy!

Really good sicilian slices — and it took about 20 minutes for them to make me a whole Sicilian to take home!
As I was waiting, a steady stream of customers, mostly locals who looked like they knew each other/​folks at the counter.
Was recommended to go here by some folks in the area — really good pizza! Their vodka sauce + fresh mozz slice looked SO GOOD, will have to try that next time! And I also had their salad with fried chicken cutlets and mozz — seriously good. How could you go wrong with melted cheese and chicken cutlets?
Really pretty inside, a classier pizza place than what I was expecting!

Lia’s Pizzeria is situated in the small shopping center just the street from VS North High School and has been there ever since I can remember. It was pretty much a ritual for us high schoolers to walk there on our lunch period and get a slice of warm, amazingly tasty pizza. Unfortunately, since I graduated high school nearly four years ago, I have not had the chance to go back until now. The place was packed when I walked in since it was around supper time, so I cordially waited my turn and ordered a Pepperoni slice to go. (You know how us college kids are) It was delicious — like a little piece of heaven. I even gave the man a nice tip for doing a nice job with the pizza. I will definitely return!
