Antiques At the Factory

I stopped going to this place even though I used to go there every time I visited the factory. Here are the reasons: they never change their stock! Every time you go there you see the same thing. I don’t know if that’s because people never buy things from them? Also they are way overpriced. I understand they have to keep a store going and charge a little more but one time I saw a red tricycle they priced 3 times more than the one I found online with similar condition. Also, the worst of all, most of the things are not even antique especially the furnitures. It is a fun place to visit but you probably will not have the desire to go back or shop there.

I wanna love it, but I almost always leave there disappointed. I probably stop in 3 to four times a year, and rarely see new furniture items. There are items that have literally been sitting there for years, in their booth, becoming antiques I guess. That’s just frustrating. Seems like those prices should be lowered or at least rotate those items out to make room for fresh inventory.
Yesterday, my husband and I found a table we loved. Didn’t purchase for various reasons. Price — $ 6,500 without chairs. And, that fact that it was NOT AN ANTIQUE! I don’t want to go in an antique store only to buy something that isn’t actually antique. Another factor was that the employee simply didn’t know anything about the table, such as age. He called the owner of that booth, who I assume told him it was from England (it said that on the card attached to the table), only to come over to the table and tell us that he did find out that the table was from France. Huh? Okaaaay.
In all the years I’ve been «shopping» this antique mall, I’ve only ever purchased a piece of furniture once. I will say that we are very pleased with it. Just wish we were able to do more buying and less browsing.

This is a very interesting store indeed! We wandered around it for a long while because there was so much neat stuff to look at. Each little area of the store is nicely set up displaying all of the goods that they have for sale.
The variety is definitely extensive, ranging from jewellery to furniture and games. I think everyone will find something here that would interest them. If you are going to the Factory, then make sure to visit this place!

We were wandering around Franklin on a Sunday looking for things to do, and I came across this gigantic gem on Unilocal.Very cool antique store, with items ranging from jewelry to furniture to trinkets. If I lived closer, I saw about 3 pieces of furniture that I would have wanted to purchase, and for really decent prices. Some things are definitely expensive, depending on what they are, but that’s what I expect.
Most definitely worth the trip if you’re in the area!

Fantastic pieces from Civil War antiques to old instruments and silverware, to furniture to… well, anything for an obsessed antiquer! I bought a night stand and a decorative knife there. I wish I had money to buy more!

This place is great! Absolutely amazing! This is not an ordinary antique shop! It has everything anyone could ever want (in limits of course)! They stock nothing but the best! There are multiple vendors responsible for the eye popping array of goods. I could spend weeks in this store looking through all they have!
This store is huge! It houses everything from old civil war weapons to rare Tiffany jewelry. I saw all kinds of goods in this establishment! You have to get your self to this shop and look around! Words do not describe what this place is like! Its unreal!
So by now… I hope you get the picture a little bit! This place is incredible! I’m not some antique lover kind of guy. But this place has everything! I mean everything (in limits of course)! You will be happy you listened to me!
The prices could range from pretty much everywhere you would like to go with it. You could find yourself hundreds of amazing small trinkets for not over $ 10 each… Or you could buy the chandler hanging that costs $ 30,000 that took 8 hrs to assemble, as the owner of the store inquired to me :). So this place is good for the lookie looooo dollar for two kinda shopper, or the Ive got $ 10,000 to blow kinda shopper. Catch my drift? And you must know! Everyti ng in this store is organized! Its amazing! There is SO MUCH STUFF, yet it all has a place! And its all not dusty! Amazing!
