Waiters were very attentive even though they were very busy with a large group. Food was definitely worth the wait!

Their selection of beers on tap it with him self is phenomenal. The fact that they have sour funky beers with regular All-American beers and classic styles is always impressive. The food for the fish and chips is also great.

This restaurant is our go to place to watch sports in Franklin. Their pizzas are great and their calzones even better. I would recommend this restaurant for a good local spot. Going to chain places such as bww is good and all, but sometimes a local place makes the experience that much better.

Nice brewery! I liked 80% or more of the beers I tried(and that’s rare!). Standard pub atmosphere and food. No complaints. Server was also friendly and helpful. I visited during happy hour, I recommend it! The Saffron IPA wins the beer creativity award on this trip, nicely done!

I’ve always been a fan of CSB. The Fish and Chips is Legit ! Don’t get the large unless you are Very hungry. They have a small size also. Wings are great. Beer and Bar Food . Good ! Oh and if you have Munchkins I always see young families there with small kids too.

I would say first that the beer is amazing. No question about it. Also my service from the bartender was superbly helpful and friendly. The manager, though, while at first seemed very observant and attentive, proved otherwise. Within five minutes I heard fifteen profanities, sexual harassment of an employee and watched him drink(not taste for quality) a beer while working. What an absolute treat of a guy to work for, if you enjoy a misogynistic pretentious narcissist as a boss! I didn’t even try the food: the experience was enough as it was. Plus, I question whether the kitchen has priorities like the manager. My recommendation? Get a growler to go and skip the bs inside.

Ate at Cool Springs Brewery tonight with a friend. Our experience was lack luster from the start. The appetizers we ordered, garlic bread and the spinach dip with pita chips was fairly subpar as appetizers go. The pita chips were more like pita bread and tasted similar to funnel cake rather than pita, likely due to being fried in the same oil. The garlic bread was tolerable, but the marinara sauce was typical canned pizza sauce. The spinach dip was actually good, but would have been much better if served hot. I ordered the bangers and mash, hoping for a decent pub fare. The bangers were mushy and could have definitely been better quality, and the potatoes tasted bland. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which was surprisingly the best part of the meal. My friend ordered the chicken alfredo pasta and said the pasta had very little flavor and the chicken was so bad she could not eat it. This place is also a tad pricier than some other pubs/eateries we have tried. While it was an experience, this will be a one time visit to this establishment.

Menu has changed entirely with now an «English» focus to it. Most all the pastas are gone and just a different feel. There beers are still okay, but just not my favorite pick anymore.

Good food and beer! Not my favorite bar in town but I throw this place into the mix of bars I visit. Neat atmosphere with the second story seating overlooking the ground floor!

If your a craft beer junky the Gold Finger(Belgian Strong Pale) is amazing! You can’t go wrong with the Titches Wit either. If you like sours go for the Sour Ambers Essence or the Sour Farmhouse Ale. As for foodies, the beef nachos a superb starter, along with the wings! As for actual meals that’s all the further I’ve gotten because I can’t get past the starters!

OK so food honestly not all that bad, service terrible only one waitress in the entire restaurant at 17 people who are available to take my dirty plate away. The pizza is made cheaply. But worst of all is the smell, this restaurant stinks I don’t know what it is, it might be old oysters it might be the hops from the beer I don’t know what it is but I won’t be back with that stink.

How can you not love a place with beer names like these? Dew Me Now Pecker Wrecker Titches Wit Nice Rack Conan The Brewbarian Dumb Blonde I visited Cool Springs yesterday, grabbed a seat at the bar and chatted with the personable mohawked bartender. I asked if they sold beer by the flight or in a sampler, and he said they offered a ten beer taster for eight and a half bucks. A few minutes later, I had ten small glasses lined up in front of me ranging in color from apple juice to black coffee. I really liked the first one– a mild lighter blonde, I also liked the mango IPA, and the orange & citrus of the Tiches Wit. I had such a nice time, soaking in the atmosphere, chatting with the staff, and sampling the very impressive beer selection.

Good local brewery with some interesting brews. Recommend you sample before buy — some are a little strange and might not appeal to usual preferences. Staff of very helpful so it’s not a problem. Great atmosphere and plenty of TVs. Sheep Tease New Zealand IPA is really good with imported hops. Not so for Nice Rack Mango IPA — even the staff recommend blending it with their other IPA if you are looking for more traditional IPA flavor. Parking is limited since this place is popular and located in strip center. Happy hour is 4 – 7PM.

We were in town overnight and wanted to go someplace local, rather than a chain you can find anywhere. Luckily, I scrolled far enough down to find this place! Although it was busy, we were seated almost immediately. Our server was super sweet and attentive. The live music was fun. While there wasn’t a huge selection of craft brews on tap(compared to what we’re used to), the ones my husband and I had were very nice. I loved the smoky porter our server suggested, and DH loved the Pecker Wrecker. The food was really good. Fish and chips were what you’d hope for from a place owned by Brits! DH loved the pizza. Daughter1 devoured the spinach salad, and Daughter2 inhaled the fettuccine alfredo. And if you’re looking for spicy mustard with a serious kick, get the soft pretzel appetizer. Should we ever be passing through again, we will be back!

Been here several times. Beer batter fish is great. Shepherd’s pie is good. Pizza crust is a little greasy. Nice sports bar.

Cool Springs Brewery has great promise. Despite the suburban exterior, the inside is well laid out for a small stage, lots of TVs for sport events, and plenty of variety for seating arrangements. The servers were personable and attentive. They have flights — 5 or 10 sampler size glasses of beer, which is a great way to start. My favorites were the pecker wrecker(try not to laugh saying that out loud) and the ginger bombshell. Both were 4 stars. I’d rate the Franklin’s First 3 stars — just a little light on flavor but great for a hot day. The Fatback Amber starts good but has a lingering sweetness I couldn’t get past. The Blackout Stout was complex but I need more than a small sampler glass to decide on it. There is some tough competition in the Middle Tennessee area, and it’s great to try another entrant. I had jalapeño poppers were pretty good and the fried calamari had some added pepper to make it delightful. I like where CSB is headed and applaud their efforts. I hope they’ll attract a greater late night crowd too. The place emptied out before 11 on a Friday night. I’ll be back…

Tried this place based on a recommendation from another Unilocaler, and boy am I glad I did. The décor is nice, there’s plenty of TV’s and lots of seating. Our server was quite friendly. Started off with a glass of their Belgian Trippel and it was fantastic. It was listed as having a 9.1%ABV but you honestly couldn’t tell by the flavor. I’m going to have to go back and have a few more of these. My main reason for coming here, though, was to try the fish & chips. I absolutely love a good f&c, and heard that they’re great here. These things were amazing! Now I’ve never been to England, but I have been to Boston, where I’ve had fish & chips. Boston was originally part of England, so therefore by the transitive property, I can say that the fish & chips at Cool Springs Brewery are every bit as good as the ones in England. Don’t even think about debating this ballet of logic. The menu had quite a few other promising offerings, so I’m definitely going to have to make this a regular lunch destination in Cool Springs.

Cool sports pub in a suburban strip-mall. Interior is eclectic and fun and my server was very friendly. I was excited about the brewery aspect and ordered a glass of «Franklin’s First» which was listed as a kolsch-type beer. It came out cloudy and looked and tasted to me more like a weiss(wheat beer), but the waitress told me that it «came out a little different» with each brewing and it was indeed what I ordered. That seems like a bit of a quality-control issue to me, but hey, it tasted good, so bottoms up! I got the fish & chips for my meal, in part because the menu promised that the kitchen staff had all been trained by a «British fish & chip expert»(whatever that means). Unless you have a huge appetite, I recommend the Small portion size which has quite a good size piece of fish. The fish was well battered and fried – tender and flaky inside, just lacking in seasoning(guess the chef really was British, hah!). Served with a small side of saucy coleslaw, it was quite a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

On our way to sightsee just outside of Nashville, we stopped at Cool Springs Brewery. We love beer sampling. We make it a part of our vacations to check out the local breweries, like beer-cations. We looked up the beers and decided to head over. We order two samplers. As my boyfriend is reading off the names, Franklin’s Twig and Berries, Circum Saison, Honey Pot, Pecker Wrecker IPA, Fatback Amber, Shaft Black IPA… I’m laughing my head off. Oh so clever and naughty. I get the owner’s sense of humor and I like it. For lunch, we ordered a side Cesar Salad and a Roast Beef Dip with Steak Fries to split. After all that beer it was the perfect amount of food. The fries were cooked perfectly. My curiosity got the best of me and had to try this Rum Chata, it’s Rum plus Horchata and intrigued me throughout the trip. I had some on ice and it was pretty good. I think I may buy a bottle for me and my friends to enjoy at home.
