Dillard’s

Only been here once.
I was in desperate need of a suit (starting a new job) and Macy’s was a HUGE disappointment — that is another story.
Anyway, I shopped online, identified a beautiful Calvin Klein suit and called to make sure my size was in stock. OMG! I called 7, yes, SEVEN times before I got a salesperson. The operator kept transferring me to extensions where people would answer and hang-​up, I would be disconnected or the phone would ring and ring. I was just about to give up, when I requested a manager. Finally, a live person! She was short, unfriendly but identified that they did have my suit and would hold it for me until the end of the day.
I reluctantly went (driving 30 minutes to get to this store) into the store and was met by the nicest salesperson, absolutely fabulous (shout out to Kathy in the Women’s Department) — Kathy was very attentive, checking on me in the dressing room, exchanging items for different sizes, making wonderful suggestions and offering to order items they did not have in stock. Her service reminded me of a high-​end store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago! Good times, good times… I digress…
To my surprise, they still were holding my suit (a day later).
This Dillard’s had a wonderful suit selection for curvy women — and they dont look like suits my grandmother would wear to a funeral or church revival.
I will return for more suits and to visit my friend, Kathy! She is the bomb — definitely ask for her!
I would give them 5 stars but calling in was a fiasco!

Only been here a few times since I live out of state and I keep returning! Each time has been a memorable trip. Especially Scott in the menswear section. He is very knowledgeable and very friendly.

was one of few lucky ones to get a Sharing Spree for cosmetics, and for apparel. I went right up to customer service and they exchanged it for a gift card. So easy and so nice! I have never been so excited to SHOP!

I purchased a Sharing Spree to Dillard’s as a little treat to myself during the holidays. Although they did not have enourmous Black Friday sales like the rest of the mall, I was able to find some good deals. I purchased two work shirts and a pair of really fun Spanx tights for the winter. What made up for the higher price tag was the really helpful sales staff, who went around the department store finding exactly what I was looking for in my price range. They made me feel comfortable and definitely maximized my time. If you are looking for higher-​end clothing with excellent service, this is where you want to be.

I don’t normally review stores, but I had to based on our experience with Dillard’s at Cool Springs! So my husband and I got married a year ago and did a wedding registry with Dillard’s. We registered for a set of really expensive sheets ($ 120). Not thinking anyone would buy them for us! Well we did get them and I was so excited to have a really nice set of sheets… we didn’t pull them out until about 6 months ago and since only used them probably 5 – 6 times. Well in the process of washing our sheets they did not wear well. After the first couple of washes they started balling up really bad and I was upset because these were very expensive sheets! We joked that maybe we should take them back a year later to see if they could just give us a new set and try it again…
Well to make a long story short they took them back 1 YEAR later! They said that we need to be happy with our purchases and they were able to pull up or wedding registry to see they were in fact purchased from the registry. They don’t carry that specific brand any longer so the gentleman said you have $ 120 and feel free to get what you want with that! So not only did we get a nice new set of sheets we were able to get other items we needed! After we had found what we wanted we still had $ 5 left! There was this candle I wanted but didn’t want to spend almost $ 20 on a small candle just to use up a $ 5 credit… so the lady that took over our sell from the gentleman said I’ll give it to you for the $ 5 since you had to go through this trouble of having bad sheets! WOW!!! I didn’t think such great customer service existed any longer! They have just made 2 loyal customers from us! Props to Cool Springs Dillard’s!
