I bought a Groupon for this shop because I had something I needed to get framed(shocking, I know). My husband decided that he wanted to choose the frame so we drove out to this store on a Saturday and arrived around 3:30. They were closed. Their website and door say that they are open until 4:00. This was pretty annoying because this store wasn’t exactly close to my home and we could only go on the weekend thanks to my husband’s desire for creative input. We decided to go to Michael’s. Fast forwarded a few months later and I have something else I need to get framed. I figure I’ve got this Groupon, I’ll try the Frame & Art Gallery again. Once the clerk realized that I had a Groupon, he assumed that I was cheap and kept steering me towards less expensive options. He didn’t get the message after I repeatedly told him that I didn’t care how much I spent because the piece was important to me. He brought out lot of options out but kept coming back to the basic black frame and pushing that one on me. Finally, I agreed to the black and He told me it would be done in a week max. Three weeks later(I should have called at the end of the first week but I forgot), I call to see if my picture is ready, it is and I tell them I will be over during my lunch. I drive over on my lunch and THEYARECLOSED. I had to sit and wait in the parking lot for 15 minutes for the employee to get back, I know tragedy of the century. I really don’t like the frame that my picture is now encased in. I realize that is entirely my fault but I felt like the sales guy kept bringing me back to this choice. A choice that really doesn’t improve the artwork, which I feel like is their job. When I got it home, I noticed that the frame didn’t match up with the edge of the artwork. Some good pounding got the artwork to shift and match up with the edge of the frame but that means that the artwork is moveable behind the glass! I really hope that I just had some seriously bad luck with this store but I will not be back.
