Paw Pals

Our dog Olie loves Paw Pals and has boarded here now 4 times. He loves the dog park philosophy and being able to play with other dogs. I at first was annoyed with having to bring him in for a first visit, mandatory evaluation, but now understand the importance of this requirement. If your dog is not social, aggressive or uncomfortable with other dogs, this is not the place for your dog.
One time, while Olie was staying here, he decided to start eating all the dog hair he could find. This led to him being very uncomfortable. The staff noticed this and immediately took him to his vet and called me. He received a shot to calm him, and X-​rays. $ 300 vet bill, yikes! When I picked up Olie a few days later, he was happy and great. I expected to pay the vet bill, but Paw Pals took care of it.
After being boarded here, your dog will be smelly and dirty, like a kid, from all the playing. They do not currently provide full service grooming, but do offer a bath, nail cutting (does not include filing, so they end up sharp), ear cleaning.
Paw Pals is great! It’s so nice to have a place that your dog enjoys being on vacation at.

At first this place was great! Until my dog got sick. He wouldn’t eat or drink anything for almost 3 days. Spent $ 300 at vet and called the manager explained what was going on. He was super happy and healthy upon dropping him off, picking him up was almost like he had swallowed poison.
I took a chance and went to the Franklin location instead. Unfortunately they don’t follow simple directions. I dropped off the exact amount of food my dog needed for an overnight, I go to pick him up the next day and more than half of the food is in the ziploc bag I dropped off. He also has a food allergy to chicken, the young man told me they feed him some of their food because they weren’t aware that I dropped off food. I MADE IT VERY CLEAR NOT TO FEED MY DOG ANY FOOD, BUT THE FOOD I DROP OFF because he has a VERY sensitive stomach. AND NOW HE HAS DIARRHEA AND DOESN’T FEEL WELL.

My dog Ozzie loves going to Paw Pals! He has fun and I know he’s in good hands. The staff is awesome, would definitely recommend!

I have looked around Nashville and NO other doggie daycare will go all out for you and your dog like these guys!

I couldn’t leave my dog there.
I’m sure they’re nice — but here’s the first 10-​minutes of my experience there…
I pulled up & opened my door. The first thing I hear is a guy (an Employee) yelling at a dog to stop barking. Not once — repeatedly. Not like a Trainer, but like a guy who hates barking dogs.
Next I walked inside. The place smelled like the employees have all lost their sense if smell, and don’t know what STINK is anymore. It was breaktaking. Simply awful.
Next was the employee response to a question. Simply unprofessional.
Last straw was the justification of the screaming guy outside… «You have-​to yell to make them stop barking, because if you don’t, then they’ll all start barking»
This place may be awesome for the local clientele they serve, but if you’re from out-​of-​town and accustomed to any level of professionalism in Pet Care, look elsewhere.

Love Pawpals! They always know our little puppy jasmine and she always knows when we’re heading there! Seeing her on their FB is fun too and I know she is safe and taken care of. Socialization is so important for pups!

I love Paw Pals, but more importantly my pup loves Paw Pals. When we pull into the parking lot in the morning I can barely get myself out of the car before Pablo my is flying out the car door in front of me. During the day while I’m at work (I work in downtown Franklin, very convenient) Paw Pals posts pictures of the pups playing on their Facebook page, which is wonderful. I love finding a picture of Pablo hanging out with a bunch of other dogs. Makes me feel good about what he’s up to during the day. However, the very best part is that by the time I pick Pablo up he’s exhausted. We always have a nice quiet night at home after a day of Paw Pals. What more could a gal ask for?
Other perks: They offer $ 2 baggie lunches if you forget to bring your dogs food, they do nail trimmings, and they offer really good package discounts. If you know you’ll be a frequenter of Paw Pals those are really the way to go. Oh, and second dogs get in for half! We are getting into the fostering scene so that is great for us.
All in all, I am thrilled with our doggie daycare experience.

My dog spends 5 hours a day here mon-​fri and she LOVES it. Literally drags me across the street each afternoon, so she can get outside with her 30 playmates! Darryl (owner) and his crew are top-​notch, and treat my puppy Jasmine as if she was one of their own. The price is right and the payoff is I have a tired puppy at the end of each day! Thanks guys/​gals!

This is such an amazing place! We take our dog to play and socialize and she has a great time. The staff is wonderful and very caring. They really make sure that all of the dogs are cared for and that any special needs are met. I highly recommend checking out Paw Pals!

I have been taking my dog here for 9 years! I can’t even mention the words Paw Pals or she gets so excited she tries to run out the door. Daryl and staff are always so friendly and loving to her and she is so happy to see them when she gets there! I am so thankful to have Paw Pals! Thank you Daryl:)
