WTF??? I came in here looking to pick up some odds and ends for dinner and I encountered this oddity of Milwaukee-area grocery stores. It’s not that this isn’t just another Pick N Save. If you look at the shelves, it’s the same old Pick N Save food, with the same old prices and the sorta enthusiastic group of employees. But then you look up. 30 at least, maybe 40 foot ceilings!!! I want to know whose the architect, and whether this place was initially supposed to be some kind of crazy church in a strip mall or a grand temple of somewhat low prices! 30 foot ceilings!!!

Didn’t like Pick n Save two years ago when I lived here and I thought I would give this location a shot despite my feelings. Unfortunately this new location has not changed my opinion of the chain grocer. Poor selection of products, they seem to always be out of several fresh produce items. The staff is nice enough, however, I’ve heard«sorry» from them far too often. I am also not a fan of needing a Roundy’s card for the discounts, and they are not allowed to give you a «free swipe» even if you are from out of town. I honestly try to avoid it as much as I can, Sendik’s is better quality but a little bit pricier and Woodman’s is much cheaper yet further away. Some days I find myself so torn…

Always a fan of Pick n Save… as long as there is good service. And the lines aren’t too long.
