The food here is insane. The redneck burrito is a dream combination of food. Servers are always friendly and helpful. Love the live music! Only downfall is that they are so busy! Haha downfall for me anyway but awesome for them. Definitely a new favorite of mine.

Puckett’s has become our favorite restaurant in the area. Great service, friendly staff that remember you and a great menu. There is something on this menu for everyone. One of the few restaurants in Franklin that know what it means when you order your burger ‘medium’!! The management team here knows how to run a restaurant well. We like the ever changing ‘burger of the month’ and the breakfasts are the best in town. Live music every Friday and Saturday night and sometimes during the week they will have someone on stage when you don’t even expect it.

Great service, great atmosphere, food was overpriced. Half rack of ribs was tasty but very small and kinda dry. Side Salad instead of beans was very good but cost $ 2, potato salad was bland and that corn bread thing they tought looked and tasted like an oven mitt. I expected much more for $ 18.99.

Puckett’s is a uniquely southern, quaint restaurant with a spectacular history. They started out as a small grocery store in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee and they still keep that«vibe» in the restaurants today. The walls are lined with crates that have beers, shirts, spices, etc. Some is for sale, some is just décor! They even have a little produce corner with fresh produce you can purchase at any time. My only reason for giving this restaurant four stars is because of the(near constant) wait time. It seems Puckett’s is a huge tourist attraction in Franklin, Tennessee — so as a local, I know it’s nearly impossible to get in during the summers without expecting a significant wait. Even during the«down» times, the restaurant always has a crowded feel(which may be due to a combination of the way they have the tables laid out in diagonals mixed with all the«clutter» on the walls that makes it feel so original!) If you include the nights that has live music, you may very well see a line wrapped all the way down the street. As for the food — The most peculiar plate I have tried at Puckett’s is the«Redneck Burrito» which is described with cherry smoked pulled pork, baked beans, their BBQ sauce and slaw wrapped in a burrito and grilled on the flat top — served with sour cream. It was delicious! I’ve also enjoyed their chicken strip plate, BBQ platters, and their classic burger. The food is great — but truthfully, if you’re coming to Puckett’s, it’s for the atmosphere, possibly the evening live music, and the experience. Compared to all the other BBQ/home food places out in Franklin/Nashville — it’s really nothing spectacular for the palate. Don’t expect to have your standards and tastebuds changed forever here — it’s your everyday(though always delicious) southern cooking! :)

Good good good and comfy. Love the breakfast but I don’t really want to share the info as it is not too crowded during that time yet. My fav is the Kings Peanut butter and banana brioche French toast with a side of some darned good bacon. Coffee is perfect! Eggs are farm fresh and omelet a made to order!

Puckett’s was on point. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. Everything we had was good, much of it bordering on great. The fried chicken was moist and succulent, the strawberry field salad perfect for summer, the skillet Mac and cheese soft and creamy, and the sweet tea… well, it was some of the best sweet tea I’ve ever had. The barbecue was above average, but not super good. Worth a bite, though. We were also sort of meh about the bologna sandwich. The meat was sliced way too thick, and was a little too greasy. But otherwise, everything we ate was really really good. The interior is cute and fun to look at, and the service was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. I hope to go back to try something else some day!

Love the BBQ here with sweet potato fries. We go here a couple of time per month. I do not think we have ever had bad service here, and I always take visitors here from out of town.

My wife and I enjoyed a late Saturday afternoon lunch at Puckett’s Grocery. We sat at the bar because the place was packed. Based on the recommendation of the bartender, I had a Puckett’s peach tea and brisket taco salad. Both were delicious! The brisket was some of the best I’ve had. The service was fantastic, too.

To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed. I had so many expectations, and I guess I didn’t adjust them to standards that are not NYC. :( I really don’t mean offense, but after reading all the amazing reviews, I had this place bookmarked for almost a year. The service was good and although we didn’t get to stay for the live music, I’m sure it would’ve been awesome. Plates I tried: 1. Fried Green Tomatoes: it’s pretty hard to go wrong with this one. I have had it in many other places as well so thought it was pretty good, but on par with many other places I’ve been to 2. Fried Pickles: can you tell I love fried shhhtuff? Yup, was good but a little overly salty. Not sure if they added extra salt into it but that was completely unnecessary and depending on the bite. the saltiness was a little unpleasant 3. Pulled Pork platter: The bbq was a little flavorless without sauce, which is fine but I think seasoning could’ve definitely helped. Either that, or the pork wasn’t marinated enough before smoking. 4. Shrimp with Grits: This plate was actually pretty unique and I liked the flavors! I think it was one of the more outstanding dishes tbh with the added vegetables. It is definitely not the standard shrimp and grits as I felt it was less creamy and more seafood tasting like 5. Buttermilk Chicken: Surprisingly my favorite dish. The chicken was super tender and fried deliciously with lots of flavor… highly recommend. 6. Piggy Mac: This is a combination of pulled pork and mac and cheese. It was a little flavorless imo. I had to add a lot of bbq sauce. Their spicy bbq sauce also was not spicy at all, haha. Overall, this was just ok. 7. Fried Brownie: I really think I would’ve liked this better if maybe it was just a brownie. Although rich, I felt like it didn’t taste all that chocolatey. The ice cream also didn’t taste as creamy as I expected. Can’t really go wrong with ice cream, though. I was also a little underwhelmed by this prize winning dessert. If you want to try this place, I would definitely recommend the fried chicken or shrimp and grits. Skip dessert here and maybe get ice cream down the corner at the fudge store. Cute place though and I’m sure the live music would’ve been great.

Fantastic food! Great service. Down home and friendly. Good band there that night for a nice mood. They need to space tables out more. Huge portions for the price!

We stopped here for brunch and requested to sit outside for the beautiful day. The tables were a little tight, but great for meeting and chatting with your neighbors. I ordered the Texas Two Step. The combination from the cornbread waffle, BBQ brisket hash, and peppers and onions blended perfectly! Absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Also had the home fries which were perfectly crisp potato dices on the outside, but moist on the inside. The portions were perfect– not too much not too little. Our waitress noticed we were sporting Uga attire and actually was from Georgia as well. She was very punctual and friendly. Upon receiving our checks, she had written«GODAWGS» on each. It was a pleasant personal touch. Would highly recommend!

Great rustic and local atmosphere. Sweet iced tea is a must, and all the food that comes by looks great. I personally had«the early riser». Which is two eggs cooked to order, bacon or sausage, grits and a biscuit. Good service and beautiful environment!

Customer Service was Outstanding! The food was above average, and the show was fantastic. I am not sure of the cover charge concept — as they seemed to chase away a lot of potential customers. The restaurant requires reservations and charges cover for a band on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:30PM. If I were a business, I would never try to chase of potential customers. The entertainment was good. My wife had the Moonshine Salmon and it was very good. I had the Hot Chicken Sandwich, and while it was decent — I have had much spicier and better versions of this sandwich in the Nashville area. Their Brownie dessert, with ice cream, chocolate sauce, and bacon was delicious. Keep up the great effort, it is appreciated!

My visit today was just like before, excellent. Next time I will venture out and try something different, but this time, because it was so good before, I stuck with exactly the same thing. Each and every positive comment I made in my initial review applies here, and this time, I also had the pleasure of meeting the«main man», Tom. He’s a first class individual, and he runs a first class operation. I highly recommend!

Had a great time here on a busy Sunday night. The fried catfish, grilled club sandwich and chicken fried steak entrée were all delicious! Even though we were stuffed, our amazing server, Prestley, convinced us to share a special dessert — a brownie dipped in pancake batter and deep-fried topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce — sinfully delicious.(Fortunately four of us were sharing it!) The food and service was superb! Prestley graciously offered to give us split checks and even split the dessert charge! Parking was plentiful and the surrounding historical boutique shopping area was fun to walk around. Definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return again!

My boyfriend and I went here on our first night in town and it did not disappoint! From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything was just perfect. The pulled pork Mac and cheese was mouthwatering and their fried green tomatoes were to die. I’m trying to convince my boyfriend to move to the Nashville area from Arizona and after eating here he stated, and I quote, «I think I could live here!» Win win!

Chris was our server and he was great. He seemed like the easy going kind of guy you’d want to hang out with. He gave us great recommendations and checked on us frequently. The food was great. I had the Piggy Mac. Pulled pork topped with rich gouda mac and cheese sprinkled with panko and baked to a crispy brown. I ended up spooning the mac to the side so I could add Puckett’s own sweet, yet spicy BBQ sauce to the tender, juicy pork. My son(he’s eight but eats like a teen) ordered the meat plus two veggies kids plate. He said the green beans were the best he’s had and loved the pulled pork without and sauce. We ate early so we missed the music(get there around 8pm) but the place has great lighting and atmosphere no matter the occasion. Also, park in the back behind Frothy Monkey. It’s free and has more space than on the street.

Definitely added to our great experience.

So good. So very very good. Listen: I bookmarked Puckett’s after Gun and Garden magazine said it was a sure-fire amazing place to get a 2 vegetable plate for lunch. I figured that if their 2 veg plate was good enough to write about, everything else had to be pretty tasty too. We made a quick trip to Nashville for a meeting and decided to fill up with a late breakfast/brunch at Pucketts. Franklin(the town) was super cute. Like we want to come back and spend a couple of days here in the historic downtown, eating great food and hearing great music. But I’d probably eat multiple times at Puckett’s. The food is down home southern cooking. The servers are chatty in a friendly not annoying way. The hubs and I split the southern platter — 2 sweet potato pancakes on top of fried apples, topped with southern ham and an egg made how you like it. It comes with a side of skillet potatoes. We also ordered two sides of grits because — hello — grits. How was it? The pancakes were tender. The apples were the perfect blend of cooked through but not mushy. The ham… words can not describe. It was the winner on the plate, especially slipped around in Puckett’s BBQ sauce. Puckett’s was totally worth the detour and we’d make a detour again to have another meal(or 2 or 3) there.

Absolutely outstanding! Driving through town for the night and the concierge recommended Pucketts. It was a nice 10 minute drive to downtown Franklin. A quaint main street filled with boutique shops. The wait staff was fantastic. Very friendly, quick service, and exceptional Southern food. Fried green beans were our starters. Son wanted fried pickles, but got out-voted. Fried green beans were delicious! I ordered pulled pork sandwich. It melted in my mouth. Perhaps a little on the salty side, but still delicious. Daughter ordered fried chicken. Perfectly breaded, crispy on outside and juicy inside. It had a lot of meat! Son ordered shrimp and grits. My hubs ended up eating it all bc son was scared of the onion, pepper, tomato, mushroom mixture on top. Hubs said it was one of the best things he’s ever eaten. Sweet tea. Oh, the sweet tea. No words describe how wonderful it was. Ordered a slice of maple and pecan pie… to go. It was almost gone before we left the restaurant. We decided to purchase a whole pie to take for New Year’s Party.

I was in Franklin for a whole week staying in a hotel that didn’t serve real breakfast, just pastries and yogurt, lol. I decided on my last day in TN that I would go early and have a proper breakfast at Pucketts! I arrived right when it opened, and I decided to have the pulled pork with the sweet potato pancakes. Woah woah woah, this was delicious. The pulled pork was served without BBQ sauce, but there were BBQ sauces(original and spicy) on the table so you can have as much or as little as you want. For me, the spicy BBQ sauce was the best. The sweet potato pancakes were also killer… I loved it, especially with the fried apples served with it. The restaurant is also a grocery store that serves food items and souvenirs for visitors like me, haha! I took a few BBQ sauce bottles home, which was great because they had a buy one get one deal at the time. Overall, my breakfast here was awesome! I would definitely come back. Thanks!

The Good: Service was good, they were quick accommodate our party of 9. Decent spirit selection. The Bad: everything was pretty good really. The Rest: Had the sausage and cheese apprizer and it was very good. Lots of sandwich options and entries. Tip: different menu than Pucketts Boat House, which has a nice seafood selection.

Didn’t eat here since we just stopped on our way back to Nashville but the place is super cute! The waitresses and bar staff were extremely friendly and made it a point of come to talk to us after finding out we were from out of town. We Didn’t know much about the beers they had on tap but the bartender sure did and even gave us a sample. They have a full menu and homemade desserts. Too bad I ate too much at breakfast :).
