Great burritos. Will be back for more. Way better than the chain burrito fast food places. The salsa that comes with chips was okay, to much tomato-based taste.

The salsa was very tomatoey. Had a little spice but not really too good. Ordered the house margarita during Happy Hour and just assumed that was the special Happy Hour marg but was incorrect. They have a special happy hour margarita that you have to ask for by name. Would’ve been nice if the waitress suggested it since I was just ordering the house marg, but no. The pork in my burrito was so tough it broke my temporary bridge! I ate a couple bites of the tortilla it was wrapped in and some beans and rice, which were ok, but if I saw a plate that had 2 – 3 bites taken off of it come back to my kitchen I would want to know what was wrong and the customer certainly wouldn’t pay for it. But again, no. I think they already know what’s wrong and I seriously doubt I will see them still in business very long. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t be back. A serious Mexican place needs to have 3 things — great salsa, great margaritas and tender, braised meats. This place had none of those.

I say it’s good and you should give it a try… but wife says never again. I thought it was fresh, well cooked, good flavor, super nice service. But her problem was that her burrito had the«special or famous Frontera» burrito sauce and she said it tasted like watery tomato soup… I tasted it and Sadly I agree with her. so avoid this red burrito sauce till they fix it!!! bizarrely it also had pickled celery in it ?? This was unexpected and not good. I do have some other minor concerns that could easily be fixed… The green chili sauce needs more heat, and In general more sauce/chili needs to be put on the plates, In addition the prices are a tiny bit high so the value needs to be increased by either adding rice and beans or sour cream etc. to all plates, or drop the prices a tiny bit. My concerns would not prevent me from going back but sadly my wife never gives second chances.

It was good. Didn’t blow my mind but I would come back. Salsa was good, vegetarian burrito was good. Glad this place is here.

This location was twice a restaurant that had decent food but always struggled. A remodel, new direction, new owners means new life. They have healthy menu which is VERY important to me and they have traditional favorites VERY important to my husband. The food is excellent quality and flavor. Service is impeccable. My only complaint is the tortilla soup and fresh salsa is addictive. It’s impossible to not shovel my mouth full.

Just moving to Franktown I thought for sure the only place I would be eating at was a Subway inside a gas station up the road(and yes, I already tried the other Mexican place.). And then I found this little place on the hill! I can’t tell you how pleased I am that this restaurant is so close by! The service is EXCELLENT and I have really enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far! I had the flautas last time and I think it’s my new favorite thing! The salsa is one of my favorites that I’ve had here and my husband who claims to not like guacamole said he would put theirs on just about anything.

Was excited to try this after it changed hands but was just ok. What they call a melt is really just a sandwich with cheese on it. Fries were tasty. My cohort said the Mexican plate was bland and tasteless. I think they need to find focus.

Nothing special here service was extremely slow waited 15minutes to have a drink refill finally had to flag server. Then when it came time to order we had to flag down a different server. Salsa not bad chips not the best. Had the supreme burrito beef was very watery but not bad tasting. Green chili ok.

Enclosed patio was great to sit and eat. it looks like a dive, but had great food. Not busy at all and we didn’t have to wait long for our food which was very good. Price was reasonable, we plan on going back.

I love Mexican food. Tex-Mex Mexican, like Abuela did it. I’m from Texas too, so I will start by saying Tricia O. and Scott W. are nuts. We have eaten at every Mexican food place in Franktown, Parker, Elizabeth, Lone Tree, and Castle Rock, and Frontera Grill is by far the best and most authentic. Now for all of you that are getting ready to say something about La Hacienda, go ahead and hop on over to the cheesy chain imitation Mexican food page please. Listen, if you want some chorizo for breakfast, lunch, or dinner… You can get it, they make it there, and it is great. They got this secret breakfast burrito with a flippin deep fried Chili Relleno in it, and you can get it with a very hot fried, but not battered large HOT jalapeño. The fajitas for one feeds two at 14.95, and you can feed a family for less than $ 50! There is not a place around that is as reasonable. Oh, and there won’t be any paying for chips and salsa like at Las Volcanes in Elizabeth. And, the salsa isn’t smothered in oregano like some herbal flu remedy. They got this Chipotle Chicken dish which is just about all my wife wants now. We love this place, and we are very happy Franktown finally got a Real, authentic, reasonably priced, service orientated, husband and wife owned and operated business. God Bless A’Murica.

Quaint and fresh. Went after the barn and felt kind of spoiled by our excellent waitress. She was very professional and friendly, and we found out she and her husband had just opened the place. I ordered the Ensenada salad, which was terrific — and I am a very picky foodie. Also had the mango on the rocks marg, which was perfect. Apparently they have a house blend tequila, which I’m also picky about… but it worked really well with the margs. My better half ordered a house marg, and it was just right. These kids are from Mexico, and cook pretty authentic food — it’s not a street vendor type hipster-gourmet appeal — BUT it is very good compared to the hundreds of Ameri-Mexi places you’ll find in this area. You will definitely not find better service or fresher fare. They were watching the Preakness when we walked in and had equine décor — Looking forward to our next visit!

The chips and salsa is pretty good, the burrito was also good, I think the green chili could use some improvement, but overall I would visit again.

Grill on the Hill was recommended to us but we pulled up & this place has taken over. POOR breakfast: BURNT French toast, bland breakfast burrito, weak coffee. Never going back. Don’t waste your time!

This place just opened where Grill on the Hill used to be. We stopped in late Sunday morning for lunch. Hubby had the lunch burrito with pork. The burrito was OK, but the meat could use a little more seasoning. I had the taco and enchilada lunch combo with the chicken taco and cheese enchilada. Again, the meat could use more seasoning, but this is about standard for Colorado. The chips and salsa were great. If we were having a party, I’d see if we could buy a quart of the salsa-very good. They are Coke products, which makes hubby happy. For me, it was coffee. The biggest drawback was the grit in the lettuce used as garnish on the enchilada and burrito. They need to wash that lettuce. Wasn’t a problem on the taco, strangely enough. Service was friendly. We want to come back and try them for dinner and for breakfast.
