I love to support local business and the first time around, awesome! This last time, terrible. 7:53pm, 7 minutes before they close and the kitchen is closed. 5 active tables. No sign saying kitchen closes before 8pm. Unfortunately, this is why I can’t support local businesses like this! The first time I went here, not bad, but the fact that they don’t want to take a customer who is going to spend money 10 before 8pm, unacceptable. They won’t every see a return from my family.

Finally went to Yolanda’s because everyone I’ve talked to said it was so good… I was pretty disappointed. I got three different tacos and none of them were anything special. It was just okay…

Foods ok but the service is sloooooow. And check your bag because they tend to forget stuff.

We found this little place on a trip up to castle rock. Just wanted to feed the family quickly without breaking the bank. The food was fantastic. Good size portion great flavors. We will go back and do recommend it.

Great fast casual place. It has more seating than what I thought, with quite a few booths and just a couple free standing tables. They did a small long table in front too/bar style to use if needed. The menu is simple basic categories, 1.) meal 2) pick your meat 3.) pick salsa. The salsa choices are great. Everything was great, service was fast; you order at counter find a seat and they bring it out to you. They also serve bottled beers. I would recommend this place for sure.

I was craving fish tacos and this was THE place. Not a lot of seating and it was packed. And for good reason… the tacos were awesome, the salsa fresh, the chips were warm. All was happy in taco land. I’m not a fan of heavy chips — I prefer light and crispy — but I have to say these stood up to the queso and the salas. Overall, straight forward, down to earth good eats. Yummo!

Ok, it’s been hard for me and the family to find good Mexican food in Colorado, we just moved to Castle Rock from San Diego CA where food is always good and rare to find a bad one, we pretty much have put it on the back burner. So I’ve been told that Yolanda’s is great here in Castle Rock. I was a little apprehensive to try because other than«Taco Express»(carne is good) down in the Springs, it’s all been below average. So I walked in just wanting a Carne Asada burrito or just a plain old bean and cheese, this is how I test the food, you can’t make that you Suck!!! So, I looked for there menu and it was all over the place. So long story short after trying to get what I want and confusing the hell out of the girl behind the counter, I said«what do you recommend» she told me the Yolanda steak Nachos. OK, I was a little surprised they where nice in size and loaded with Carne and white queso, salsa was hot and fresh overall 4 star very good and filling. So, I will return and give them another shot. Looking forward to the rest of the menu.

Really great salsa — the tomatillo was fresh and vivid. Fair prices and simple, tasty food.

Place is my go-to for burrito’s and chips. Their quick, service is great and there servings are more than you can eat… Or should anyway. :)

I’ve only been here once, but I was rather impressed. I’ve lived in the town for 11 years, and I’m glad I finally tried it. The quesso was bueno! I’ll be back!

Holy yum, batman! My aunt and uncle had been raving about this place for a few years now. I’ve always brushed off their recommendations of Yolanda’s because I’ve always thought just not much to draw me to «downtown» Castle Rock. Boy, was I wrong. We tried this place for lunch– glad we got there early, we barely snagged seats at the bar style seats at the window and there was a full blown, out the door line by 11:45. The food was quick, service was friendly and the portions were extremely generous! The al pastor is unbelievable. So tender and tasty. I had it on the nachos– I loved the little bits of pineapple that were thrown in there. My fiancé LOVED the barbacoa. The salsas were fantastic. I’m legit obsessed with the tomatillo salsa, I actually crave it weekly. Their chips are so fresh and obviously made daily. We’ve been back several times since, but we try to get there super early or at off times so we can actually eat there. I’m not a fan of nachos to go, but I’ve brought my fiancé a burrito home and he loved it as much as he would have had he eaten there. This place is awesome. We’ve tried the other locations, but the CR one is our favorite. We bring out of towners here and recommend it to all of our friends. Definitely worth the drive!

Stumbled onto Yolanda’s after a hike with the hubby and was pleasantly surprised. Like the system of ordering. Liked everything we ordered and we hope to be back for more.

For what this place is, it’s okay. My family loves the food here, and the rating is more for their opinion, since three of them love it, and I only find it to be ok. I’ve only had the taco salad, which, honestly when I’m done, I’m still hungry. My family loves the tacos. So if they drag me here again, that’s what I’ll have!

An exciting experience for anyone who’s looking to eat a near-genuine Mexican taco! Wife and I ordered tacos and they were absolutely fantastic. The Mexican style tortilla chips were so incredibly good, I felt like I was eating the authentic chips from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco MX. Guacamole was fantastic, although a bit pricy for what you get. I would have given this eatery 5 stars, but they forgot my additional order of Guacamole that I spent money for and shorted me a side of salsa. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a great mom and pop restaurant in the awesome town of Castle Rock!

I’ve been here a couple of times now and I’ve had good experiences. The tacos are really good and the price is great too. Their salsas are really good and there is a variety of different meats to choose from. If you haven’t been here. Try it. It’s a little taco joint so expect that when u go.

OHMYWORD! The chicken nachos here are what my dreams are made of! :) LOL. If you can’t tell I have a soft spot for Mexican food and Yolanda’s Tacos is no exception. I have to have my fix every time I visit fam in Castle Rock. The more times I can go during my stay the better. So this review doesn’t really give a good picture of the many offerings of the restaurant as I have never ordered anything but the chicken nachos. How’s that saying going? «If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it»? Ok enough of me rambling on. Basically the nachos come on a standard size — sturdy paper plate. It has to be sturdy for the mountain of chips these nachos are made with. The chips are then topped with this shredded chicken smothered in a white cheese sauce.(Side note: The cheese sauce I’m convinced is straight from the heavens. It’s that yummy.) On top of this delicousness they sprinke a few tomatos and I want to say cilantro? Not sure though so don’t quote me. I’m not sure because once that plate is in front of me I stop only to wash down the hot salsa with a big gulp of my drink. Priorities people! ;) Oh they give you a side of salsa which comes in mild or hot. And being a texas girl, I like my salsa like I like my summers, HOT~! :) Oh and BONUSJONAS: They have a Horchata machine here. So once you’ve eaten more than you should and had to unbutton the top button on your pants just to breathe, you can refill your drink with some horchata and float off into pure cinnamony bliss!!! Quick someone send me some NACHOS!!!

Yolanda is good. She has good tacos. This is my favorite stop when making the drive back and forth between the Springs and Denver. It’s quick, inexpensive, and who doesn’t love tacos? Free chips and salsa on the side of each order!
