I like this restaraunt, but both times ive tried it i got the same crappy waitress. She doesnt refill water, she takes forever to check on you, and she forgets to bring things that you ask for. This is a cute restaurant and i like their breakfast, but the service has been below average both times due to the same waitress. She even argued with me after bringing me the wrong item that i didnt ask for.

I will tolerate a lot but I think my experience at Pegasus was one of my worst dining experiences ever. I went here with a party of six(two kids included in that) for brunch. We were told that if we would take a seat on the patio we could be sat in ten minutes. Great! It was a nice day so we chose that. It was more like twenty minutes but that was the least of our worries. We were sat on the patio with only one other table having people at it and they were finishing up. We waited for about 15 minutes before we were even greeted by our waitress. She took our drink order and then came back about ten minutes later with an assortment of drinks but not what we ordered. We all placed our breakfast orders and then waited for some of our real drinks to come. To put it simply, we waited an hour and twenty minutes before we received our food. I think our order was lost because she never came to our table to check on us we had to find her several times to inquire where our food might be. I have never seen my boyfriend leave the table to try to find someone to take care of our situation. After he came back the waitress came to our table with«complimentary» chips and salsa because she was so sorry for our wait. Not really what we wanted for breakfast but I thought it was sort of nice of her. After a lot of awkward excuses and several people telling us our food was on the way it finally came out… cold. My sisters gravy on her plate was cold and unpleasant. My omelette was tiny and my potatoes were cold. Everyone mentioned cold food and the cinnamon roll was crunchy. We didn’t even want to send it back because we would never have gotten out of there. What was most annoying is that after we were sat the rest of the patio filled up. Other tables were finished and gone before we even had our food and our waitress kept telling us we had other orders in front of us. I just don’t believe that. Only reason for two stars is because the waitress halved our bill. We will not be back. Not just because of this but also because the food is not any good.

This is a great, unique building, with a nice patio when warm. We were told to sit in back because the building is very interesting, and it was great advice. Our waitress was fast and full if energy, and extremely polite. For our first time we went for brunch, both had gyro meat and eggs, it was really delicious. It needed a bit of sea salt for seasoning, but besides that, it was good. They even offered me some corn GF tortilla’s in replacement of bread. I do wish they had mimosa bottle specials, but thats ok. They did have good man mossa’s . I’m excited to go back.

Made a visit on recommendation for brunch. Decent fair, though the drinks are better than the food. The oatmeal cookie martini is spectacular! Service was acceptable and the seating and space eclectic. Nothing too flavorful but the drinks were strong and priced fairly for what was served. Will likely try again for breakfast to determine whether or not Pegasus becomes a regular visit.

Great bruch spot with lots of parking in a big lot behind the building. They get super busy on the weekends, so if you’ve got a large party call for reservations. I love the atmosphere, it’s very homey, warm and inviting and we’ve always has wonderful service and loved everything we’ve tried on the menu.

Food has improved greatly in the last few years. Love the breakfast option in town. Nice mix of options for all tastes. Great service and the wai on the weekend is at least indoors.

This is an excellent restaurant with exceptional food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I had the Gyro with a Caesar salad and it was really good. We also had wings for an appetizer and they were fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Been here twice. The first time I loved it! I had the salmon eggs Benedict and it was delicious. The second time I had a platter type breakfast. I didn’t like it. The eggs were dry and I got one lousy sausage link. I even didn’t care for the pancakes. So I’d be kind of careful with what u order.

$ 6 bucks for the kids quesadilla, which is just a tortilla and and a little bit of cheese. Probably cost them $.25 cents. Complained and they didn’t do anything. I would spend my hard earned money elsewhere:)

This place is a blue-hair mecca and it is obvious that is their primary target demographic. I’ve gone for both breakfast and lunch and both were not worth the money spent nor worth it at any price. The French Dip I had was horrific and the au ju I promise you smelled like a dirty rag wrung out into a small bowl. If you have any sense of taste, avoid this place and it’s cryptic menu at all costs.

The staff of The Castle Pines Connection community newspaper held its monthly staff meeting at Pegasus on the Square today and our entire experience was terrific. Several of us ordered from the lunch menu which was moderately priced with large portions. Others enjoyed a delicious breakfast — having so many choices worked well with our larger party. The separate meeting room provided ample privacy and seating for our group, and our waitress, Sheridan, was attentive and friendly. We were served shortly after ordering, which was nice considering we were there from 11 a. m — 12:30 p.m. If you are looking for a nice place to host a meeting and enjoy good food at the same time, give Pegasus on the Square a try.

I am sad to rate this place so low. But critiques make a place grow stronger… honestly the food is always delicious, but you should hope it comes out warm. Also never go there when they’re busy. They’ll make you feel like it’s your fault they’re busy. Please tell me what business out there does not randomly get slammed? A manager there told me it’s the restaurant business so they can’t predict the rush hour. Hello it’s the real world we all can’t predict the future. I lost it when a «manager» started arguing with me, even AFTER I told her please do not argue with me. Yes they have been in business for 30 years but sometimes managers need a fresher course on how to handle situations. I didn’t want excuses, I wanted a manager to own up and admit they failed. You can’t succeed until you’re proud of your own business. The management clearly isn’t anymore.

I have eaten her twice with my wife. I was surprised how good the food here was. The place was not all that crowed during the late dinner hour but the kitchen really put out a good meal. The other time we visited we had lunch. It was great. I/we ordered mediterranean entrees. Don’t miss this great spot.

Loved it. Went there with a large group(about 50 – 60) and had the whole patio reserved for us. The all-you-can-eat Greek buffet was delicious and both the buffet staff and the waitresses were attentive and genuinely nice. The beer was a little pricey, but it was a small price to pay(pun intended) for such an inviting atmosphere and excellent food. We couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you, Pegasus!

People are crazy if they write bad reviews for this place. Look, it serves tasty food and offers good bar selection. Is it fine dining, no, but it is consistent and doesn’t take itself too serious unlike some of the Unilocal reviewers. You will always get a good meal at a reasonable price. Go for it!

We eat here whenever we go to castle rock. Normally it’s really tasty. Today I tried breakfast which was big mistake. Never again! French toast was pathetic. Eggs overcooked and overpriced. I’m sticking with thr regular lunch or dinner menu next time. Hubby likes the Greek food. Ps don’t expect excellent service. Never ever happens as you will constantly ask for refills. But service is almost always friendly.

Castle Rock is a little light on culinary cuisine, if you know what I mean. I do have to give a little love to this joint. Nothing fancy and nothing quick, but after a night of beatin up my liver I wouldn’t mind sliding into a slow breakfast. Don’t sit up front unless you’re doing the kids thing. Trust old Jerome– head in back and get your relax on. I usually stay away from specials, cause they usually ain’t special, but Pegasus throws something nice out on the chalk board up front.
